I purchased this my friend Pikachu plush for my 6 year old son who has recently taken a loving to Pikachu. As a child I loved it and I had a Pikachu toy that was very similar - press its hand and its cheeks light up, ears would wiggle and it would make character noises. Although the version I had as a child was really cool it was not nearly as true to the character as this plush is. It is pretty average in size. Really similar size to a basic Pikachu plush. It comes in an base box style package without a high back and the plush is exposed just sitting on a base. It's really easy to use, press on its stomach and it lights up and makes character noises. The noises are all very true to the cartoon and varied.

Cute is the name of the game here. Tomy has offered up a good sized plush cuddly toy which is both well designed and featured. We bought this for Little Savvy to try out at age 3 years, 5 months. He has loved it since day one, the plush toy itself is nothing revolutionary, but what it does, it does well.It has a lovely feel and all seams and stitching look secure. The unit utters numerous phases with a cute Pikachu voice and was enough to keep our Little Savvy busy. He's an adventurer at heart, so having seen the advert for this toy which featured a boy carrying it around in his backpack, Little Savvy started doing the same. It's a great toy for those little ones capable of stimulating their own play ideas,

Brought for my 5 year old who eagerly watched the door all day long waiting for his new best friend. Very pleased when the product! Really cute and a good representation of the character, lots of phrases and love that it's ears and cheeks glow. Lots of people saying it doesn't have as many phrases as advertised obviously haven't changed the switch from 'demo' to 'on'. It is exactly as advertised... Obviously has electronics in it so not as squishy and cuddly as a regular teddy but this didn't stop my son cuddling him all night! He's been copying the boy in the advert and carrying him around in his backpack all morning. Happy boy happy mummy.

Very disappointed when I turned toy on. It only said one phrase, instead if the expected ten. It was only after a few days that I realised there is a "central" position between the on & off and if you use that all ten phrases played. No where is this shown on the box or packaging. Please make this clear or kiddies could be missing out. Lovely toy once and much appreciated by great granddaughter.

Very cute, high quality pikachu. Best of all it has the original voice actor providing the voice and works with the commonly used AA batteries which are even included! Perfect collectible and not the most annoying toy of this kind even if given to a small child, because the voice is cute and this has a nice variety of phses it says.

Great plush toy that was a Xmas present for young boy. Needless to say I think parent got a greater kick out of it for nostalgic reasons.Seems well made, the lights in his cheeks and wiggling ears are cute, and the phrases are pretty iconic to anyone familiar with Pokemon.For value, this is a must for any Pokemon fan.

My son was desperate to have this for Christmas. It said lights and sounds, but in all honesty it's quite limited in what it says/does and my son didn't say so, but you could tell he was disappointed and found it quite babyish as he's 8 years old. Had he been a lot younger it might have been his favourite toy.

Best 7.99 ever spent. Little one wanted build a bear one but it’s was over 50 online then 15 shipping to Holland so I made a quick Order for him. You press his tummy ears and cheeks light up and talks amazing value and she sleeps with him every night and not one mention of the other which is a big plus.

Nice size, and looks great, only let down was it says it has 10 different phrases...it only has one...but it's the same phrase in 10 different languages, so disappointed in that , but apart from that it's a great addition for a Pikachu fan, I would recommend this plush toy ?

My son loves this! In my eyes it's pretty basic really it just says pikachu in a few different ways and wiggles its ears and it's cheeks light up but my son is happy he had wanted it for the last year but every where had been out of stock!

My 5.5yr old Pokemon fan LOVES this. He gets so much at Christmas including huge Lego sets but this is his favourite they're inseparable. He loves pikachu noises so to have a cute pika he can hold is the best. May have to buy a spare!

Brilliant plush Pikachu toy!Looks and sounds great any Pokemon fan wouldn't be disappointed with this in their collection. Says around three phrases while dipping its ears, overall very cheap price for something so good.

My daughter loves this! Looks and sounds exactly like the one she watches on TV. This was a big hit as he'd favourite character is pikachu. She's 6 and takes this to bed every night. Definitely soft enough to cuddle.

Best toy I bought for my son for a long while, did think was abit pricey at first but the quality is very good and my son takes it everywhere with him, after 3 months it still looks really good so money well spend.

For only a few pounds more, I thought I'd get this for my Pokémon obsessed son, instead of an average plushy. So worth it. The cheeks light up. The ears move and Pikachu chats away. Boy loves it!
