My daughter received this for her first birthday and while she was slightly too young to use it at that point, it has been something she has regularly revisited ever since.Talking in extremes, there are two types on parent: Ones who like mess and ones who don't. I fall into the second category. My daughter loves to paint but I don't have the patience to sit there and watch her get paint on the table, her clothes, face, hands etc.With this mat I don't need to worry. My daughter doesn't seem to care that everything she does on the mat is blue and it's so easy for her to play with it. I usually set her up on the kitchen floor and give her a shallow bowl of water as well as the pad that comes with the kit.

I brought this for my one year old on her birthday, and my four year old loved it! It's a good starter aquadoodle product, as it only comes with two stamps and the water sponge, so kids do tire of it quickly. However I think it's a good start to arts and crafts for kids, but be warned there's still a lot of mess (my now sixteen month old just likes to suck on the sponge) but it has made her more alert to what she can do. Four stars as great product and great fun but mat is tiny so gets covered very quickly (within a minute) then have to wait for an hour or so for it to dry.

We bought this for our daughter's first birthday and are very pleased with the toy. So far we've only played with the mat a couple of times, but looks like it could be a lot of fun and a really nice interactive toy to enjoy with our wee girl. Perhaps only disadvantage is the print mat isn't too large and marks take longer than anticipated to disappear, before leaving you with a clean fresh surface to decorate again.

I bought this for my 1 year old for her birthday and I think she is a little too young to understand what to do; although she does play with it in her own way. I know she will enjoy this when she is a little older so I am happy to store it until then. The only thing I noticed when using it is that the lily pad and sheet take along time to dry out and you can't really put them away until then.

Lots of interaction with your little one get the towel ready before you start and make sure you don't mind getting wet. Lots of fun and will last a long time. I can see my grand daughter enjoying play with wet play as she grows in her ability to do things for her self. I bought it for her 1st birthday and can see it still being used and enjoyed for a couple of years.

Brilliant product!I can let my child play and be creative with no fear of mess or destruction!!All you need is a little water, contained within the provided pad, and off they go.So easy to 'clean up' too, just leave it out and it soon dries ready for use again.A product I really cannot fault!

I bought this for my 18 month old and she loves it, I also give her a paintbrush so she can draw by dipping it in the water filled leaf pad. The only downside is she is cheeky and has already pushed one of the shape stampers inside so can only use the other one, otherwise not bad.

My son loves this and is a great way of playing with him with no mess to clean up after. He loves the fact the images appear without even using a pen etc. Very great fun for taking time out with your child and showing them new skills.

Fairly small mat for doodling but good enough for 6-12 months. No mess indeed but too cold to play with water in the winter in my opinion, so I only have it out in the steamy bathroom just before bath time.

Bought for a 1 year old, he loved it. No mess, no paint, just a little water, which goes a long way.Would be good to have this one with the rainbow colouring I guess, but for a 1 year old it's perfect.

The product created much entertainment for the child and the water added to this entertainment. It also gave the child a chance to be creative and i believe in the long term will be very beneficial

This item arrived on time and is an excellent product. I have had something like this previously and it went mouldy on the inside because of the water. Will have to see if this does the same

Purchased this at a very good price for baby daughters' first Christmas so she actaully hasn't used it yet. Looks really good and seems a good introduction to the world of aqua draw.

Bought as a birthday present for my niece, the mat was a little smaller than expected. However my niece loved it. My sister was very happy with the product as it means no mess!

i would definitely recommend this. i ordered it as xmas present for my daughter and she loves playing with it. i like the fact that she can have fun without making a mess.
