Last fall, a friend introduced me to Tom's shoes and I was interested because I wanted to expand my shoe options a little bit. After some research on sizes and colors, I decided to purchase a basic black since I was new to these kinds of shoes and wanted a color that would work with everything.These Tom's women's canvas slip-ons are a basic flat shoe that would work well for many people. The upper part of the shoe is made of canvas and the footbed is made of suede. At the top, there is an elastic piece so they slip on easier. They are made in China and for every pair that is purchased, "Tom's will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need.

I was dubious about how comfortable these shoes were. They don't look like they would be comfy, but they are. I always wear socks in them though, so that could make a difference too. The bottom of the shoe is made from a soft material, so they begin to smooth out readily with a lot of use. I'm just a little concerned with slipping if the textures on the bottom completely smooth out, but the material seems like the rubber on a pencil eraser; I suppose it should be good. I've used mine mainly for walks. A friend of mine hiked a steep, dry trail with these on once. There were tree roots and rocks all along the way, so my feet in my tennis shoes felt the discomfort, but my friend states she didn't.

I'm normally a size 11-11.5 UK so went for the 12 and that fitted me just fine, even with thicker socks on. The size down (11) would have been too small.Very comfortable and quiet, particularly for walking around on laminate floor (my older slippers could be a bit noisy). Can't say I've noticed any particular problem with slipping or sliding as some other reviewers mentioned - guess it depends on what floor you have.So far these seem to be the most comfortable slippers I've ever had. Hope that last a good long time as they are probably the most money I have ever spent on slippers too!

Now I know why TOMS are so popular! These are my first pair of TOMS and I am hooked! They are extremely comfortable - I could walk in these all day long, easy to slip on/off and I love that for every pair of shoes purchased, a pair of shoes is given to a child in need. It's a win/win for everyone! They are also true to size so get your normal shoe size. I do have a normal to slightly wide foot and at first these were snug around the sides of my foot but after an hour or so of breaking them in, they were perfect!! Get them, you're going to LOVE them!

Bought these for a recent trip abroad, where if they were torn up it would not matter too much. My last experience abroad, my boots I took were ruined on cobble stone streets, and I didn't want to part with another pair of favored shoes.I walked between 2-5 miles in these everyday, on rough streets and they held up extremely well. I can now wear them to work with tights or by themselves when its warm. Will continue to buy these for travel, as these wear out.These fit a bit large on my skinnier feet, even though my toe-bed is wide.

I LOVE these shoes! I wear them constantly. They’re especially adorable with skinny jeans. My job requires me to be on my feet my entire shift, and these shoes have brought me the most comfort. I’ve found that for me, I’m a 9 and a half, and I always get size 9. Because they are a little tight the first few times you wear them, but they stretch and conform to your feet after that. Like I said, that’s what works for me. Not necessarily everyone else. If you’re nervous about them being too tight, I’d recommend getting your true size.

Not only did the shoes sit in the warehouse for 4 days before they were even shipped, when I got them they were not as described in the photo. I ordered from this seller because I liked the polkadot lining on the interior of the shoe. Unfortunately the shoe's interior was the same animal print that I would have gotten if I had ordered them from the Tom's website. Though there isn't much support, the shoes are comfy and made it through a three week vacation in Europe. I would order more Tom's but I wouldn't order from this seller.

I now own three pairs of these Toms slip-ons in black, white and brown, and have worn them for years.Numerous complaints can be found in reviews of Toms about them being a size, or half-a-size, too small. It's all nonsense, I'm pleased to report. On first slip-on they can be fractionally tight, but as with any shoe, it's a breaking-in process. After a few days they'll stretch to comfortably wrap around your size with no blisters. If you intentionally buy a larger size you'll end up overcompensating.Buy your size and enjoy.

i bought these because it seems like that's what all the cool kids are doing. these shoes are incredibly casual. good for wearing around the house, or to somewhere you don't plan on doing a lot of walking. i'm not sure that you're supposed to wear them with socks, and I didn't, and found that they start getting a bad odor after not too much use. i'd wear these to a baby shower, but never to take the kids to a park, or somewhere I plan on walking a lot. I'd compare them to sperry topsiders in regards to places i'd wear them.

I have a pair of TOMs already and bought these for my wife's birthday. She loves them! My TOMs lasted me for about 3months, they have one or two holes in them from my toes. I read some reviews before buying these and don't understand why people are complaining about you have to only buy from TOMs.com for them to donate a pair. If you think about it, these are a genuine pair of TOMs, so who ever is selling them had to have bought them from TOMs.com and that would mean when they bought it, another pair was donated.

Bought these for my daughter. This was her second pair. I made her buy the first pair herself, but bought this pair for her. Toms are well made with a nice supportive leather footbed which you will not find is most lightweight canvas shoes. There is no questions that Toms are better made and of better quality than most shoes of this type - and I understand the claim that for every pair of shoes someone buys, they give a pair to someone in a poor country, but I still have a hard time paying $45 for the shoe.

First off, I'm a guy, using my mom's account, but these could be for a lady I suppose. These days, as of May 2020, I'm not going too many places, but if I do go out, these get the job done. They're great for around the yard, walks, and around the house. Comfortable, stylish, goes with literally anything I wear aside that is below formal. For 30 bucks, and the pair the kids wherever they are in the world, getting a pair you can't go wrong. I've always wanted a pair of Tom's. I'm glad I finally got some.

TOMS are a comfortable shoe in general, but they always run BIG. I have purchased 3 pairs of TOMS in 3 different styles. I wear a size 12 in most shoes, but I was told to size down some for these and that is good advice. I purchased some 11.5s in a slightly different slip-on style and I couldn't even get them to stay on my feet. These are a little loose but better. The problem for me is in the back of the shoe. I seem to have a narrow back foot and heel. They fit perfectly in the front of the shoe.

I've been skeptical about Toms for a while but finally bit the bullet and ordered. I am a woman with large feet (at least size 12 wide) so I ordered a mens size 10.5 and they fit perfect. When I first put them on they were tight across the top of my foot but after a few minutes they were broken in nicely. I will definitely order again in other colors. Also, Im fairly flat footed and need arch support. These dont have as much support as say a tennis shoe but I can wear them all day without pain.

I read other reviews saying that 2 pairs of shows were ordered in the same size and they weren't actually the same size, so I was very hesitant to buy anything because I didn't want the hassle of returning it if it didn't fit right. I purchased this pair and a burlap pair in my normal size 8 and they both fit the same. Perfect! I love them and get a lot of complients on them. They're also so comfortable. A lot nicer than the usual flats I was wearing and they go with everything.
