If you are intending to formula feed, look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a bottle system as a backup/emergency or introducing combi/expressed bottle for your established breastfed baby this is pretty much the business, at least with mine anyway.The bottle is designed with a short soft teat that is offset on the bottle and more like a real nipple than many of the other bottles we've tried, it doesn't have the bouncy 'real' motion of say the Munchkin bottles, but it is easier to get milk out of this than the other bottles that supposedly replicate breastfeeding. I'll be using this bottle alongside breastfeeding, rather than for full time formula feeding, so the natural shape and the design of the teat is definitely better with these Tommee Tippee bottles than other designs. I've used the previous version of this bottle before, but see that some design improvements have been made since my last baby was young and now the teat is at the edge, off centre, to help baby to swallow less air when feeding. The wide shape at the top of the bottle is still the same, and this encourages a similar latch to breastfeeding, as baby has to open wide - it's one of the main differences I see with this bottle and other makes, and I prefer this style.

The name Tommee Tippee is famous with many mothers of young babies. Its a name to be trusted as it truly works for all bottle fed babies. In the box you get 3 bottle for 9 oz formula. Perfect for a newborn who only takes a couple of oz per feed. This can be expressed breast milk, Or the bottle can be used for cooled boiled water for the older baby. The bottles have measures in metric and oz so its perfect for grannies and new mums alike. Being a grandma i find the oz easier to use when mixing formula for the grandchildren. These bottles are perfect for the first 6 months of a babies life if they are bottle fed. The bottle has a wide opening and is easy to fill. The screw cap thread is chunky, so it is fitted and tightened quickly. The bottle is wide and easy and comfortable to hold throughout feeding. The teat mimics natural feeding to a degree. I can't say I have had any real issues in respect of bottle feeding and our baby has taken to them just fine. Admittedly, I am slightly biased towards Avent bottles, but only because I used them throughout my first child, but Tommee Tippee bottles are of a good standard and I can't think of any reasons to disregard them.The wide necks make for easy cleaning and I do recommend them. We recently switched from the Tommee Tippee anti-colic bottles (and before that Dr Brown's) to these and we prefer these. They are not perfect. However, they are extremely comfortable to use and you can angle them better for feeding without an issue. It can be more difficult to read how much milk is in the bottle, due to the curve and they seem a bit thinner than the Closer to Nature bottles, they warm up more quickly that's for certain. This is a "it does it all" bottle from Tommee Tippee which has been designed to aid easy switching between breast and bottle. The head and teat of this bottle are larger than standard with an off centre teat to mimic a nipple on a breast. The teat itself isn't too bad and relatively soft though not as soft as the latex teats of some other brands. The bottle is easy to clean and use, however unfortunately our little baby wasn't a massive fan. I think like all things in this category it is a bit random and trial and error as to whether things work, this is a well made bottle - slightly odd looking though really can't fault it, the bottle shape us nice and easy to hold too.

I really like these bottles. We also use the tommee tippee closer to nature ones but I find that these are better when my baby is transferred from breast to bottle. She dribbles less than with the closer to nature ones and I feel this is due to the different contouring of the teat. I would have given 5 stars but the lid sometimes takes a bit of repositioning to get to screw on which is a little tricky when holding the baby! I would like to see tommee tippee produce storage lids for these bottles but this is not a 'fault' with the product just something I would like in addition to the bottle.

I bought this for my newborn niece to top up on a lot of other Tommee Tippee bottles and to go with the Tommee Tippee bottle warmer.On its own this bottle will not be nearly enough but as part of the wider mountain of equipment bought for a new baby it is invaluable. You can never have enough bottles!When feeding my neice the bottle worked perfectly, she knw preciscely what to do and, provided the bottle was orientated correctly, the milk came out easily. The teat placement meant it was easier for her to feed when the bottle gets emptier. Great stuff!

The latest addition to our family was left with daddy and granny the other night when mum went out for a much needed wee break, leaving a bottle of expressed milk for daddy to feed baby. She loved this bottle, had no problem with the natural shape of the teat and the flow was just right. Very soon she will be able to hold it herself, with a bit of help, as it is shaped just right for small hands. Easy to clean and sterilise, shaped to please a breast-fed baby whether it's expressed milk, water or juice I'm sure she'll be using this bottle.

We have bought 4 sets of these bottles ranging in size, they are the best bottles for babies I have found, tops baby having so much wind, they are shaped really well and this size is larger, but I bought 4 sets after trying them on Vine.If you are a new mother these are a must. I am very p;eased with them as the flow nicely and baby doesn't have chance to suck in so much air. Would recommend to any new mother; A really funny shape as well but made to be more like mother. Excellent bottle.

My daughter has been using this with her prem baby, when she changed him over to the bottle. She likes it and she was pleased with its performance but didn't really notice any difference between this one and the normal ones. I asked her about his wind and she said it was just the same when using this one or the normal ones.She likes the shape and likes how the teat is more to one side than in the middle she said that she found that her baby like it when she used this one.

Overall, a well thought bottle for new parents but one that new dads appreciate more. With your newborn either changing from breastmilk to formula or as a bottle to hold expressed milk this is an opportunity for dads to assist mum. Can't comment if mums think this bottle is good but this harassed dad can at least comment that it didn't leak, can monitor exactly how much has been drunk and that el bambino has latched (technical term) to take fluids. Overall, very good...

My granddaughter is breastfed but needs a bottle feed each afternoon and her mum had been struggling to get her to take this. She was delighted to find that this bottle was accepted much more readily than the previous one she had tried (which also said it was suitable for breastfed babies, but the teat was not such a 'natural' shape). Very pleased with this as it enables baby to feed without distress. It is also easy to clean and holds enough milk for a full feed.
