This was one of the baby products that I was initially unsure about buying. I didn't know whether it would be worth it and if I would actually use it much, but I use it all the time and it's been so useful so I'm glad I bought it.How it works:It's simple but effective. It's essentially just a flask, but the flask has a plastic container which screws over the top of it. So you fill the flask with boiling water, push the button to close the flask and stop the water from leaking, and screw the plastic container over the top. When you're ready to heat a bottle, you unscrew the plastic container and turn it upside down. Push the button on the flask to open a gap in it to pour from, and pour the hot water into the plastic container. Pop the bottle in the plastic container of hot water and it's warm in a few minutes.POSITIVES:- The flask keeps water really hot for hours- Quick and easy feeds on the go. I take sterilised feeding bottles and bottles of ready-to-feed liquid formula out and about, but my baby likes his milk warm, so I decant it into the feeding bottle and then use this travel bottle warmer to heat it up. Before I bought this I was simply asking in restaurants/cafes etc for a jug of hot water to heat the bottle - which most were happy to give, but having this meant that I had the hot water ready to go and could just get it out of my bag without queueing/finding someone to ask and waiting for them to heat the water and bring it out, so my baby gets his feed quicker when he's hungry.- The plastic container that you put the bottle in with the hot water to heat seems to heat the bottle really quickly - I also use it at home for night feeds now as it's quick and easy (I was boiling a kettle and using a pyrex jug of boiled water to heat bottles before and this warmer is so much faster)- It's convenient and space saving in the changing bag that the plastic container fits over the flask itself, and the fact that it screws onto the flask helps stop any last drips of water that are left in the plastic container after emptying from escaping- The little sticker on the side of the flask that reminds you that when the button is popped up, the flask is closed and when the button is pushed down, the flask is ready to pour - I keep forgetting which way round it is! So this is useful.- The plastic container would fit all brands of bottle. I use it with Dr Brown's bottles.NEGATIVES:- Unfortunately, as other reviewers have found, it sometimes leaks when it tips over in the changing bag, and it's hard to keep upright all of the time. I've had leaking all over bibs, muslins and spare clothes and nappies in the changing bag, which isn't ideal. I try to keep it wedged upright now. TIP: I've found that once I fill the flask and push the button to close it, if I then tip it upside down over the sink and give it a little shake before screwing the container over the top, a little stream of water comes out but then stops - this must be the little bit that was leaking out. So to help avoid leaks, once you've filled and closed the flask with the button, hold it over the sink to tip out the few drips that escape and then secure the plastic container over - and try to wedge it upright in the changing bag, just in case. I put it upright at one end of the bag and then fill the bag around it with spare clothes, nappies etc so that the flask is held upright.- The flask can't be washed in the dishwasher, according to the instructions. I put the plastic container through the dishwasher regularly and it's been fine, but haven't tried the flask itself as the instructions say that it's not suitable, and to wash it every so often by hand with warm, soapy water. It would save time if it was dishwasher proof, but then I don't wash it after every single use as it only ever holds boiling water for heating bottles.Update: overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives so I'm still really glad I bought this. My baby is now 12 months old and I still use it to warm his milk (he still doesn't like it cold). For me, this was a really useful purchase.

I had damaged my previous one and ordered a new one straight away on amazon as I can not be without this flask, this is a must have on my list. Also this product does not leak the open and close valve is reverse to what you would expect. Perhaps a fawl design as the open is down and closed is up. When used correctly it does not leak. You get excess water shaking off from what is left in the cap after closed but does not pour our to which others have experienced. There is a label on the flask with diagram instructions.Ordered at 10pm and was delivered next day in the afternoon. Fantastic turn around. My little one is now on 6oz and the flask can hold 3 bottles worth and the water is still hotwith every bottle.I used one also with my toddler as was always out and about as fantastic to have for travelling as can make a bottle anyway and cool down aswell as I just carried a bottle of cold water with me and then use the white lid to the flask to cool bottle down once made. Not out and about this time round but fantastic for during night feeds as also use tommee tippee powder dispensers and I keep all that's needed by bedside to make a bottle at any time.

I always used a flask of hot water and a plastic container when heating expressed milk on the go with my first - effective but not very elegant. This is equally effective but much easier to pack! The container is quite large but TT bottles are wide so it is no larger than the container I used previously. In fact, the fact that it is wide makes it very sturdy once filled, so I don't worry about knocking it over like I've sometimes done in the past. Some reviews mentioned the water not staying hot enough but I have not had this problem: even after using some water and pouring it back into the flask. It is just as good as any other vacuum flask - I forgot to empty it last week and the water was still hot 24hrs later.I foresee using this while I am expressing and continuing to use it if I need to make up formula or heat pots of food once my baby is weaning, so well worth the money. It doesn't have any special features, so if you just wanted to use an existing flask and plastic tub you could just do that, but if you want a more elegant solution I would definitely recommend this product.

Great product can be used with Dr Browns wide neck bottles & also can be used in the future for warming up food. Good size will definitely fit in a standard baby changing bag. This product keeps the water warm for up to 8 hours. As they recommend that you use water over 70c to make up powder formula milk to kill the germs and below 80c so it doesn't kill off the vitamin c.Time poured water in was 14:30 at 99.7 degrees (Product was placed in room temperature therefore if product was left in different evironmet i.e. colder environmet then the below temperature measurements would probably be different/lower)1st check at 18:00 water was at 83.7 degrees (3.5 hours from first fill)2nd check at 19:30water was at 78.4 degrees (5 hours from first fill)3nd check at 21:00 water was at 73.3 degrees (7.5 hours from first fill)4th check at 22:30 water was at 69.1 degrees (8 hours from first fill)This product also has a button to press down for the convenience of pouring water without opening the lid on the flask. Great value for money.

I've no idea how else you get out and about with your baby without this beauty. We fill it with boiling water first thing in the morning and then it's hot enough to make bottles on the go until well after lunch time. We usually have a bottle of drinking water for me out with us so that's what we use to cool the bottle down with, or we ask at the cafe for them to fill it up for us. Having been out with my first daughter and had full on rows with obnoxious cafe staff members who refuse to give me a mug of hot water to warm my bottle up with due to health and safety (which on one occasion resulted in me heating up the bottle in my mug of coffee in front of them..... the rage was strong and my death stare steely)I don't have to worry about meeting them when I need to feed this baby. Plus it means I can just feed her sat on a park bench if I wish. This would be ace for night feeds too.... although I'd seriously suggest investing in a perfect prep machine because that is just sublime!

I use this every day when leaving the house with my baby. I fill it in the morning with boiling water and use this to make his bottles when I'm out and about. The water stays hot all day. I simply add the hot water into the bottle and add the formula. If baby needs it straight away this outer sleeve can be filled with cold water to cool the bottle down ready to drink. I also used this when abroad as a 'DIY' perfect prep machine. I would set aside some sterile cooled water at night and then fill this with boiled water. Then when baby woke in the night I would add 2 oz boiled water to a bottle and add formula, then top up with sterile cooled water (just like a prep machine). This just meant the bottle was ready to drink and there was no messing cooling bottles at 2am when a crying baby risked waking our other children in the same hotel room. This has never leaked, even with constant use. I would not be without this and would 100% recommend to formula feeding parents.

My sister had an almost identical flask to this years ago made by Fisher Price, but I had not seen one for years, this came up randomly in a search for Tommee Tippee. Firstly I wish people would read the instructions or look at the sticker on the side of the flask, those complaining that it leaks clearly have the button down in their photos and describe having it so in their reviews. When the button is pressed down, the lid is set to pour and when it is raised then it is locked and will not leak. This is the case with most other vacuum flasks. I put boiling water in the flask and take it upstairs to make up the 6am feed, then cool the bottle down using the beaker and cold tap water from my en suite. It works really well. Haven't been able to use it for travel yet, thanks lockdown, but I am sure it will work just as well then. It seems well made but if it breaks in the future they are pretty cheap, especially when on offer so I wouldn't mind getting another one.

I cannot believe how effective this flask is. We have tested it with boiling hot water and found it to still be hot 24 HOURS later. I am not even exaggerating as we checked, twice. It comes with the plastic part which is used to house the water poured from the flask. This plastic cup screws onto the flask creating a nice and easy transport option meaning you always have a container to hand. My only mild criticism is that it can be difficult to get the bottle out again from the plastic cup afterwards. However, this is not nearly enough of an issue to warrant a reduced rating as it is still possible (and I am nitpicking.)The flask itself has a pop button which opens the flask for use without you needing to unscrew the lid. This has the effect of keeping heat it while allowing water to escape. In short, we recommend this flask to any parents wanting to go out and still be able to warm baby's milk/food without needing to be near a kettle.

I got this as a new mother & didn't know how easy it is to get hot water in public these days due to how funny the laws are now, but with this product I've never ever had to worry! The water stays hot in there for so long we now keep it handy if my little one wakes up during the night & we even take this when we go round other peoples to save them boiling the kettle & to save her waiting. It takes on average about 2 mins for the bottle to heat up to a nice temp & that's even after the hot water has been in there for 5 hours! We also use the plastic top to heat her bottles up in general around the house so we don't have to keep washing up the measuring jug!The only thing I would say though is LOOK ABOUT because I have found this item is cheaper in shops than on here,I've seen this in Asda & Wilkinson so far so do take the time to look about because you could save a few pounds!

I found, when out and about with my first child most eating places were unwilling to provide me with hot water to heat his bottle and would only allow me to give them the bottle to warm. This was OK but not ideal, especially when it was busy and you had to try and get someones attention to get the bottle back! This product is great. You fill it with boiling water before you go out then, when it is time to heat the bottle, you pour the hot water into the container that the flask goes into for carrying, place the bottle into the container then, when you have heated the bottle put the hot water back in the flask. The water stays hot for around 6 hours and we have managed to heat two bottles during the course of a day out with the same water. For the price I am really pleased with the quality of the product and I would recommend to anyone who is bottle feeding their baby.

Absolutely brilliant..a baby must have item!Bought this after using one in a M&S cafe. We found getting hot water when out and about to heat baby bottles a bit of a challenge. Most places were accommodating and readily supplied it and there were others that whilst accommodating lacked suitable equipment to be able to warm a bottle effectively. Then we found the not so accommodating to just plan "no". These were places that were so caught up in health and safety but would happily supply you with a hot drink. This is a flask that keeps water hot for the day. It has a lid that unscrews entirely or by pressing a button on the top, opens the lid enough to pour some water out before pressing the button again to close. The screw on plastic outer cup is where you pour as much water as needed to warm your milk or baby food. Simple, effective and convenient!

Being a first time parent we've probably gone slightly overboard and bought many things that a second time parent would laugh at you for buying...this definitely isn't one of them :)So in essence this is simply a flask with a large cup but as used for an on the go bottle warmer it's invaluable. Does what it says on the tin - keeps water warm for a decent period of time.We were out with this for the first time this weekend - up and down Oxford street in the bitter cold, come feeding time some 4 hours after filling it the water was still HOT !The screw off cup/lid will accommodate even the tallest of bottles which is a great feature.Have now seen that M&S are also giving parents the use of thesein their cafe's which gives me confidence that they're a quality product.Good price on Amazon too - so a really an easy decision!!

I am very satisfied with this product it looks great is very easy to use and has multiple uses. The fact it has a pouring mechanism is a massive bonus. It holds apporx 600 ml and will keep the water warm enough to be used for a bottle for 8 hours. The main use I have for this bottle is in case the bambino wakes up in the middle of the night so I dont have to boil the kettle and wait for it to cool, or just so I can pour a bottle first thing in the morning, a massive help and stops the baby cryindg for longer periods because its on hand.It can also be used for warming bottles or cooling bottles, its small enough to be portable with the baby and the pouring mechanism mentioned earlier saves a lot of mess and reopening the flask. In summary a good looking product, very easy to use, at the right price with multiple uses.

Ok so, I seem to have more luck with this than my husband. He hated it at first because he was convinced that it leaks - it doesn't, but the push top lid looks open when its really closed, and closed when it's really open, which is admittedly a bit confusing. The white screw top bottle warmer cover thing also isnt leak proof when screwed on, so definitely check that the push top is 'locked' closed before putting it into a bag.Apart from that, I love this little flask. I dont use the white screw top bottle warmer (havent needed to), but the flask keeps hot water for formula hot for HOURS. I forgot to empty it out one night and it was still warm 12 hours later.I've also used it for (cows)milk for cereal, for my lunch at work. It easily kept my milk cold all morning without needing to put it in the fridge. Love it.

I had a similar version of this flask when my own kids were babies, which was 16 years ago. It was a new concept then and all my friends wanted one when they saw how useful it was. I have bought this for my daughter who is now having her own baby. It is really compact and suitable for any size bottle not just the Tommy Tippee small ones. The thermos flask is filled with boiling water and just pour into the container when required and pop the bottle in. I found this really useful for trips out when we could not get access to a jug full of hot water. I know nowadays, room temperature milk is encouraged but neither of my kids liked room temp milk so I needed to heat it. Good price,I paid same price 16 years ago, so its a bargain. This and my cot top changer were the 2 biggest life savers with a new baby.
