I played the open and closed beta and I enjoyed them and being a fan of ghost recon wildlands I picked this up on release.after half an hour the severs went down and with the game always being online I couldn’t play it for about 3 hours till they were back up .since then I have been playing a lot and despite a few bugs I am having fun with the game.one bug in particular spout it when I was injured and needed to use a syringe to heal myself it was stuck on the grenade icon in the menu wheel and I couldn’t change it so I had to restart the game .it hadn’t happened before but I hope they look at it.it seems to be the norm with Ubisoft games that there is some ups in their games on release butusually get fixed in time.still it’s not something that should be happening.its great solo but better if you play with a friend or other people.isome people might be put off by the looter shooter aspects of the game and having to level your gear and weapons up but I like that aspect of the game being a fan of the division 2.the game is a lot better than the beta with the graphics being improved and the gun play a lot tighter.i prefer playing as a sniper and I am enjoying playing it more stealthily.for fans of ghost recon wildlands like myself some maybe put off with the changes to the new game but it’s an enjoyable game despite the bugs and I am having lots of fun with it.

I've played all the way through this - put in tens of hours, got the platinum and I still haven't quite moved on from the odd side mission - so hard to do anything except recommend this as value for money (especially at under £30).However, this is a messy game. It feels like Ubisoft have gone the route of cramming in as much extra stuff as they can without thinking how it fits together. The ranking system is often frustrating, the plant collecting was lost on me until after the game, the classes are too weak to matter, the factions stuff gets in the way. It feels strange to argue against options but when you can finish the game without even realising half of them exist or are necessary, you wonder if the effort was spent in the right place.Which leads to the real negatives - the hub world is annoying, slow and unnecessary. A menu system is quite sufficient. And of course the one most of us came for - no CPU players. I'd be ok with this if the 'drone' replacement was infinite but it pushes the game too much into being a co-op game that I don't like vs a single player. Yes, I did it all on my own but I spent a lot of time running away to clear the alarms. In short - worth the money - can't deny I had a lot of fun. It's not as good as the excellent Wildlands.

I needed a game I could get stuck into after getting into 'Elite Sniper' during lockdown, which is quite a easy game to master.... Ghost Recon Breakpoint isn't easy to get into... For starters it took 50 minutes to copy to my PS, then took hour to update latest version... Then finally when I thought it was time to play I had to create 'Ubisoft' account, which was fairly easy... Now time to play, or so I thought...it's lots of chat...moves I don't know.. gameplay I don't know... technical stuff I don't know... More option menus than anything I've ever known before.... So, if you are new to this game like I am, then you may struggle. And the major downside is you can't just start your PS4 and play, you have to be connected to the Ubisoft servers, or you can't play. So, in conclusion, I'd say, if you aren't used to these style of games, then you will struggle, but if this is your thing, then I can see how you'd love it. #Update#- I got into this game, and found it quite addictive, and have been playing for many months.... I've know come to a point where I can't go any further in the game unless I buy a pass(£20 to £40), so be warned.

Bought this game at launch. Horrible mess. Every type of gaming staple was shoehorned into it. Awful.Saw there had been some updates and changes so tried again. My god is it different. Gone are the tiered loot and gear score. No social hub. Gameplay preset of immersive mode actually makes it play like a tactical mil shooter. Stamina, critical injuries etc. HUD isn't littered with icons. There are even options to customise the experience further. AI team mates are back and can be customised and ranked. If you have any mates to co op with even better. They can download the trial version for free and play along indefinitely as long as you are online. Such a great idea.New world states or parameters are awesome.Change things up nicely. From a fun time with Terminators to having half the map covered in a toxic fog from Rainbow 6. The first mission from each new YEAR 1 DLC chapter is free to try too. So a lot of content. It's not perfect but it's the game it should've been from the start. Fingers crossed they don't bury this franchise..

So this is a review after immersive mode has been released by someone who adored wildlands. The gameplay is generally the same with a few additions like prone camo and 6 different classes which honestly don't make a big difference but give you something a lil extra to do for small rewards. The enemy drones are nice addition with the behemoths being particularly tough. One big improvement is the driving. If you're a wildlands veteran you'll know it was often better just to walk or get a helicopter. Now driving is much easier, it's not on the same level as gta but its still way better. Now one big issue and the only reason I removed a star.Almost from the very beginning of the game you can access the kill walker mission. If you're half competent you'll take him down. DON'T!!! It pretty much removes him from the game which suck because Jon bernethal is an excellent actor. The game goes on but he's not in any of the cut scenes and it really does feel like you're missing out.

I almost didnt buy this game due to the negative reviews - glad I ignored them!I hanestly have no idea why people are mentioning micro transactions. You do not even see them unless you go to the strore part of the game and there is absolutley no reason buy them. The store was also around in Wildlands so baffled what the issue is.The gunplay and taking on a base type missions are the same as in Wildlands too so you can choose stealth, sniping or rambo style to suit your playstyle. The biggest change is the gear score which means you're forced into looting which is why this rating is only 4 stars. Its still addictive and enjoyable but it feels like they couldnt decide if the game should be purely tactical or go full rpg,so you're kind of stuck in between the 2.Apart from that and the crafting, everything is the same as Wildlands but with better UI design and choices.

If you were a fan of Ghost Recon Wildlands, you'll like Breakpoint. However, the story mode is much shorter, and is in 3 episodes. So far, two of the three episodes have been released. You have to have the Year-One pass in order to open up the subsequent episodes (post-episode one). PVP is fun IF you get a lobby of casual players. Otherwise, there are many known bugs and glitches that players take advantage of (search Reddit for evidence). Overall, it's probably one of the best Co-Op games out right now. I like that you can play the entire storyline with a friend. If they updated the game more frequently, added more content more frequently, added more maps in PVP, fixed bugs, etc., I'd rate it a 5.I probably should give it a 3, but (overall) I like it, aside from all the complaints I've made here.

Initially I wasn't sure about buying this, I enjoyed Wildlands so much though I took a punt on it.My first impression was that it wasn't as good and I didn't really feel like I was getting it, I was being beaten in gunfights and found the enemy drones a real pain.... Then it all sort of clicked.Yes its different to Wildlands and yes you have to change the approach to engaging the enemy but stick with it and you will enjoy it. I like the layout of the upgrades screens and I really do like the fact its harder than the sit back and like the drone sync shot wipe out a base approach of Wildlands. At this price its certainly worth purchasing if you liked Wildlands but want something slightlydifferent.

Excellent addition to the newer recon games. Been playing this for the past week so much to do, so much to see. Bit repetitive and when collecting gear feels kinda grindy at times but solud story. In terms of glitches i have found a few. Huds randomly vanishing (and yes i know the controls to hide/unhide this wasnt that) scope glitch where the scope on a tac50 could not be used. Had to reboot game and issue resolved. Lost progress i had made during that time due to restart. Apart from these flaws still a great game.World is vast and beautiful. Dont know if the gold edition was worth the extra money not very usefull stuff.

Only a few hours in, but here's my initial thoughts of it running on PS4 Pro w/ 4K TV, HDR.The Good.It looks stunning, the controls are intuitive, & the map's massive. The game seamlessly transitions between areas, with distinctive weather patterns.Co-op is an absolute blast. The BadCan't be played offline. No support for solo play A.I. controlled teammates yet (although it's slated for later in year 1).Overall 4/5*. Would be 5* with the addition of A.I.UPDATE....Can be a bit buggy in places, but I'm sure these will be patched in time, so overall 3.5/5*

Absolutely brilliant game. Although there are issues I have full confidence that they will be sorted. It is a brilliant move forward from wildlands. Although the story sometimes feels abit thrown together it is still very gripping. The combat physics are also brilliant. Unlike the last game you feel like you are being hunted and you feel more than happy to sneak into a base to find the information rather than take out of the whole camp (which I feel was the point in wild lands) Amazing game

So frustrating at first because it's so different and ahead of its time but stick with it, learn how to play it because it's so worth it once you get to grips with it. Absolutely what consoles were designed for, finally the realism most gamers have been waiting for, you get injured you gotta fall back and heal, try running down a slope on loose dirt and you will slip and fall and possibly injure yourself.Far superior to wildlands (which I liked) and graphically awesome too.

Slowly crawling through swamps with a surpressed assault rifle, dawn raids on enemy airfields, silent HALO drops under the glow of night vision, 6km swims to attack huge port facilities as you and a mate gear up as combat divers, armed with SMGs and C4.This is what Ghost Recon Breakpoint is all about. If you've played Wildlands you'll know what to expect in single player, but co-op is where this game really really shines. Give it a shot!!

15.10.2019

A very enjoyable game despite some bugs sometimes ruining the experience. Lots of weapons and outfits to unlock as you progress through the game as you level up your character.play as a sniper.or go in all guns blazing the choice is yours. The game is always online so you must be connected to the Internet.A large open world to explore and can be played solo or with friends.

So far it’s an amazing game. Seems like there are easily hundreds of hours of gameplay in there if you intend to get everything checked off. I really appreciate that it doesn’t require online / coop / battle pass / raids / etc for the main gameplay. You can play a few hours here and there and easily pick it up again whenever.
