We had 'inherited' a soft plush playmat/gym. By the age of 4 months my son just looked bored with it, the only toys he played with were extra bits we'd attached to the arches. I debated whether to buy another playmat/gym - not knowing how much use he would make of it having already 'wasted' several months. Other friends had Tiny Love ones which he seemed to like as the toys were more accessible and fun, so I bought this (partly persuaded by Amazon's reduced price). What a hit! He grabs the toys and shakes them a lot. It is bright & colourful (a bit cheesy for my taste but is designed for babies not Mums). The smiley sun sun has dangly bits that make it even easier to to grab and it plays 3 different tunes when he shakes or hits it which seems to please him (so not the same tune each time that could quickly get very repetitive!) . The other toys are a jitter frog (nice long legs to grab), a rattle turtle and some hard plastic teether leaves. The toys are attached by toy links so move nice & freely. It has a lot of holes in the arches to attch more toys to or move existing around. There is also a mirror. The mat has the obligatory small crinkle patches and squeeker. It is a smooth more shiny/silky surface rather than a plush surface, so possibly not a lot of grip for tummy time - but suits our son and he doesn't have a problem with it. Instructions say the mat is machine washable. It also folds up with poppers (with toys in place) so is easy to take to other houses for portable play. All in all very glad I bought it, wish I'd done it sooner and would highly recommend.

My baby absolutely loves this gym. I spent quite a while researching which one to get and I was very pleased with my decision. One of the reasons I chose this one is because it looks nice - very important if it is going to be up in my living room for months! The main thing I was looking for though, was something to engage and entertain my baby, which it really achieves! There is a good variety of interesting toys for baby to grab and to look at. The mat itself is interesting and although my baby doesn't particularly like tummy time, he does like to crinkle the ears on the bunny support so will stay for a few minutes. His favourite is the owl that clips in and out of the top of the arch.He smiles and coos to it.We tend to just leave ours up because it is used daily, but it does fold well for storage. It was a bit fiddly to fasten the arches down with the poppers the first time we put it up, however this does get easier on subsequent times. The toys make crinkle noises and the bee had a lovely chime sound, they can be swapped around to give baby some variety. Also they easily clip off so they can be played with away from the mat, and so other toys can be placed there also. We have added a crinkle tag lion that our son particularly likes.I would highly recommend this. My baby is 5 months old (although was early so 3 months corrected) and has got loads of use out of this. Although it isn't one of the cheapest, it is good value for money based on the use. I have 3 other children so we have used other play gyms in the past, but this is by far my favourite.

When my MIL offered to buy our new baby a gym we asked for a tropical jungle gym which was very pretty, unfortunately that gym falls over if you breathe the wrong way and has never held our infant's interest. After humming and arring over whether or not to purchase this since we already have quite an expensive gym by a reputable brand that was purchased for us as a gift, I decided to give this one a go. We are so glad that we ordered this gym as our baby is now 3 months old and as soon as we put him down on it he was cooing and hitting out at the dangling toys. This gym is easy to assemble, easy to position the toys, and gratefully it came with batteries for the hedgehog toy (which our son enjoys batting and making the connection between cause and effect it would seem!). I was wary about buying this when it is only supposed to be for up to 6 months and with our baby being half that already, but he is so captivated and stimulated by it that it was 100% worth the money. I had read that high contrast images such as black and white would be visually stimulating for an infant and it certainly does the trick. As a first time parent it is so pleasing to see him finally engaging with one of the toys he has been bought, whereas even if we lay him on the other mat now he barely engages. Not all gyms are created equal!

Our 3 month loves this play mat, in fact she loved it from her second week. As she has grown she has progressed from just looking at the hanging toys to kicking, hitting and now grabbing them. She also enjoys tummy time touching the various different fabric parts of the mat. It is part of our daily routine and she can happily spend ages playing on it. The main reason I think this gym is better than others that I have seen is that it has holes along the arch to attach toys. The toys then have detachable plastic loops. These things combined mean you can vary the position of the toys, take some away (which was nice at the beginning to not overwhelm her), attach other toys to these plastic loops and hang them from the arch, hang other toys that have hooks into the holes (our baby loves her lamaze toys hung from the gym) and finally take the hanging toys off and take them along with you (they easily hook to our maxi cosi car seat). The mirror is a nice feature, but the kick music part she is not old enough for as unfortunately you have to hit it quite hard to make a sound. Overall, I would highly recommend this play gym.

I purchased this as soon for my nephew when he turned 5 months and it is his favourite playing spot now.It is cleverly designed to attract his attention and keep him engaged all the time, with the bright colours and the dangling toys. He talks to them in his own mysterious language and tries to grab them. It's a great way of exercising for him and it also gives him a sense of privacy and independence, since I watch him from a bit of a distance and leave him on the mat by himself. The fabric is soft and smooth and pleasant for him, and the mirror is a great source of amusement, apparently. It is great to see him enjoying himself so much.It is a genuine indoor playground for this tiny treasure, and I'm happy to confirm the fact that it is indeed safe for machine washing (there was a small food incident on it and we were forced to test it out).A great buy, a good investment for any child's development and fun!

Lovely soft gym that isn’t too garish but still has nice features for a baby to enjoy. I love the fact that the arch is movable so you can easily reposition it around baby and the raised edges make the whole area feel nice and enclosed, which I was looking for as a feature. My baby particularly likes the mirror and husky dog that plays songs, although you have to bash it quite hard for it to play so not sure if she could do it on her own. The little light up star is a lovely idea but doesn’t shine very brightly at all so have deducted a rating star for that as I was hoping for a playmat with light feature. I also bought a separate black and white mobile to attach so that there was a toy with a bit more movement for her.Otherwise very pleased though. It’s also easy to clean - I put the base in the washing machine and it came out as good as new.

My baby boy loves this play gym. This one seems to have had a lot of thought put into it. The best toy by fair is the chiming duck. It's not an irritating chime - it's akin to a wind chime. The noise is reassuring, because if I put the duck near his foot, I can pop into the room next door and know that the chiming noise means he is playing away quite happily.Other great things are:- toys are all detachable so you can mix them all up and add new ones- the wipe clean surface- the fold up sides, which mean that my baby can kick away at the crinkly sides for entertainment or have a look around at the colourful pictures while playing.- the curly crinkly squirrel tail on the mat which he's learnedto grab- little grab toys which can become little play rattles or teething toys when detached

We all love this! My baby lies on it every day - he's now 8 weeks and has loved it since we got it 4 or 5 weeks ago. It's quite subtle in its colour scheme so not too offensive to the eye in your living room. I can see that it will keep him happy for many months to come as he becomes able to play with the different features. It has a hanging bee windchime which he loves, a bug mobile that captivates him, 2 other hanging toys, a musical toy that plays songs which don't drive you mad, a teething ring attached to the mat, and a tummy time pillow. It's nicely padded so it's comfy and is big enough to lie on with a friend! I looked at a LOT of play gyms/mats and this was in the middle of the price range.Impressed with the quality, and once assembled seems very strong. Love!

My baby was just 4 weeks old the first time he lay in his play gym and although he looked lost he was able to lie face down and feel the textures or lie face up and see the toys above him. Now at almost 6 months he can sit up in it and reach the top bars, also I put his little chair in there and he can play with the toys face on. He lies face down and face up and also rolls over in it, getting to feel and experience a range of textures and colours. The fabric wipes clean with baby wipes or the sterilising wipes. It can be folded away on an evening if you don't have much space (we slip ours behind the sofa) and you can also clip some of your own toys onto it. I move the toys around for a bit of stimulation.A great product and one that is actually well worth the money.

I bought this item in January 2020 and although we are in June now I expected it to last longer than six months considering it was for a baby and the price wasn’t cheap however the arms that slot into the poppers no longer stay in place or in the slots provided the other day one sprung out and I popped out of the slot pocket and hit my baby in the face so now I have taken this item away from him as it’s nit stable. I’m now having to take this item to a Taylor/stitcher to add more poppers to make it safe for my baby which is going to cost me another £20-£25!! if I was in the returns time I’d ask for a return or exchange my baby is now only seven months old this item should’ve been safer thanwhat it was

I got this playmat for my 4 month old son. He had another playmat that was kindly given to us but it did not have many attachments on it and the arches kept bending! This was fine for a few months but then my son seemed to get bored of it. My friend recommended the Tiny Love playmat and so when I saw it on offer on Amazon we decided to buy it. We have found that it has been really good. Our son loves playing on it and the Frog is a big hit! He can stay on it for a good 30 minutes quite happily. We are really pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Great baby gym. My 10 week old likes to play with the giraffe and the one that chimes by bashing it with her hand and hearing the noise. I'm hoping she will get even more use out of it once she's a little older. I love the fact the sides fold up, which seem a little safer for when she can roll. Also there a lots of activities to touch and see and also includes a detachable kick board and mirror. My only criticism is that it would have been 100% perfect if the base was padded more. Other than that it's great, and I'm really pleased I chose this one.

This is a beautifully made thick soft play mat great size, my Grandson has been learning to sit up and he has rolled over on the mat which is really soft so he does not hurt himself, he plays with his toys on it and spends plenty of tummy time on it, as he gets older he will be able to still sit and play on the mat with his toys. I love this met, it has lots to discover on it, lots of feels and touches, and my Grandson loved the mirror his little face when he was looking at himself was so funny.

I bought this mat as my 4 month old baby was starting to move about more and trying to roll over but was restricted by her play gym. I wanted something big enough that she could move about freely and this mat is perfect. It's quite well padded has lots of little things to stimulate baby and the pictures and colours are lovely. I got it when it was reduced but would happily pay full price for it. The first day of using this mat and my baby rolled over. One of my best baby purchases.

Brilliant product. My daughter used to lie on this when she was a new born and now she is 7 months old she still loves playing with it. She now loves the squeaker and the crinkly bit on the mat as well as finding it hilarious when the flower plays music. It is stimulating for her and really easy to fold up and put in the car if needed. It also wipes clean easily. I also have the bouncer chair from the same company and swap the dangly toys between the two.
