Tile Pro: Battery lifeAs before, the batteries are not replaceable, so they’ll work for around a year before they need to be replaced. This is the trade-off for durability and reliability which, if you’re attaching a Tile to a valuable object, is well worthwhile. Obviously it's too early for me to say whether the Tile will last >12 months, but the only reason to suspect it might be less is the powerful speaker.Tile Pro: PerformanceI placed the Tile at one end and walked to the other end (260 feet) and still had a connection to the tracker. It did drop out a few times, but at 200 feet was reliable. Even with low background office noise, I couldn't hear the Tile's ringer at that distance,but will re-test this once the update becomes available on the App Store.The fact they have a limited life due to the non-replaceable battery is the only disadvantage, but their reliability and slick style more than makes up for this – especially if you're keeping tabs on something valuable. My biggest disappointment is I wish they included (or even sold separately) some form of keyring to attach with. I’d love a rugged clip, or paracord carabiner. Seems like an easy upsell they are missing here. I didn’t really have anything on hand to use to attach the Tile to my bag and had to go digging for a keyring or clip to use.

Bought this for my mum who constantly loses both her phone and hey keys all the time. Wanted the sports edition as it was a fiver cheaper (!) just for a different colour but they were sold out. The white and gold one is nice enough but the grey and black one would probably go better with a set of car keys. The product works well and is loud enough to be heard from another room, and does it what it says it should. The only thing is my mum had difficulty connecting it to her phone at first as the app is slightly confusing at first, but got it sorted after fiddling around for a bit. You can also change the ringtones which is a nice function to have. The batteries say they last up to a year but that is yet to be seen.The only other thing is if you're using the tile to find your phone, your phone must have bluetooth on to make sure the two are connected. I also wonder how durable it is, especially if you're someone who drops their keys a lot or they're subject to a lot of wear and tear. Although it does exactly as it should, it is quite a lot of money for such a nifty novelty thing, so unless losing your keys, or your phone (or both!) is something that is an actual issue for you I wouldn't spend the money.

Great item. I love that if you can find the Tile, you can use it to find your phone!Only thing I would say is that I wish the find on map feature was a bit more precise. The circle for where your lost thing is covers a reasonable area. Not precise enough to find your dad in a shop for example. It's also worth noting that the Tile Sport is slightly louder than this one. I bought both at the same time.

I bought this for my wife as she is always looking for her keys and phone in the house. The tile is attached to her car keys and the app installed on both my Android phone and her iPhone. As well as finding her phone or keys in the house with the alerting fuction, its also very useful to see whether she has arrived safely at her destination by using the map function.

Love tile products - good app download, always works, and saved me a thousand times. The gold version is for wife, who loves it and it looks great. I have sport version. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because they only last 12 months, and then need replacing as battery can’t be replaced. Otherwise - it’s a 5 star product.

I put it on my cat collar. Whenever I let her roam free and she gets into the bushes, the loud ring function has been absolutely great at finding her. Haven't tried it at long distance, so I don'd know how well the crowd finding would work.

Too early to say 9n battery life as yet but so far easy to set up, looks good and case is robust. All in all seems to be a good solution but should review further after a longer period of time, e g. 6 months

Is this product off Dragons Den because there is no way on gods green earth im buying one if it has ever been on that show. I call them the spam dragons and I don't want them in my home FULL STOP.

Simple enough to set up, looks good. You have to keep the app running in the background for it to find your phone. Distance is ok. Remains to be seen on how long the battery lasts.

I love these as I am always mislaying my keys in the house. I even bought these fobs for Christmas presents and the recipients all found them a handy thing to attach their keys!

Bought a tile slim and never used it; bought the tile finder for my better half - since come to the rescue twice in three weeks. I'm happy & my wife is delighted! :)

Perfect for anyone even if you only lose your keys/wallet/phone once. Not bulky in any way, don't notice a difference in your pocket.Loud tone to find your items.

Used this for my house keys and up to now I have used it twice to find my keys and it has been perfect a friend recommend it and I am glad they did

bought for wife who misplaces key or phone, she uses this and finds quickly. sometimes does not connect straight away but very happy with it.
