Set these up today and tested the ring function through both Google assistant (love that that's an option) and the app.Connected each tile to the app with zero issues, quick and easy process.Attached the tiles to all the things I want to keep track of and I'll see how it goes with them. People keep borrowing my keys at work and passing them on to others so this will be handy to find them afterward.I have rang these whilst they've been inside my coat pocket and a little pouch and they have a decent volume. I also like that you can change the ringtone on them, that's a nice option, so you could have different tunes for each item if you want.I am disappointed that the app has a premium subscription feature..I've just spent the best part of £50 on these tiles, and you want to charge a subscription for "premium" features? I feel that's a bit much. I'm not going to be using that subscription. It gives access to 1) smart alerts (tells you if you leave and forget something with a Tile attached) 2) free battery replacement 3) 30-day location history. I think I'm good lacking these. When opening the app it can take a minute or 2 to connect to everything so you can click "find" to ring them, which isn't a problem if you're not in a particular rush. It rang the Tile pretty quickly when I tried it through the Google Assistant. Not sure how durable they are yet, when twisting one of them onto a keyring it scratched the case a bit, might have to be careful not to break them and drop them. The app also has an option to share your tracked items with others (I think they need to have the app installed as well though) which is pretty good. Perhaps if you left your wallet at a friends house somewhere, they can open the link and have a listen out for it.Another feature that's quite good I think is you can ring your phone from the Tiles. If you have your keys but can't remember where you put your phone you can press the button on the Tile and it will ring your phone. So far so good and we'll see how things go

We started with these because we (aka my wife & daughter kept losing things (I.e. their keys at least 6 times) however now we all have ‘Tiles’ and I can not tell you how happy we are with these specifically, really do fit in your wallet without ‘bulking’ it up meaning you can’t close it &/or have it in your pocket because it’s so uncomfortable. We all have slims in our wallets; and we have the replaceable batteries versions on everything including the Pup-star (Dog). We now that these are taking off and are already everywhere because of running the tile app constantly (which you can now do with the iPhone; as it tells you now to save battery leave apps open) it tells you how many people you helped.you don’t see their items, it just tells them exactly where they are if I / we walk passes them. And vis-versa as we have found keys drop in a supermarket; a wallet left in a store; house keys on the dog walk trail. Also, Costumer care? Listen to this! When the app detected that the batteries were running low; before they should have; TILE went over and above and sent us brand new tiles! Then when another set were getting low just before they were due to run out; they sent us four new batteries; all without asking! (See the pic if you don’t believe me!)I marked this down for cost; not because they are not worth it; it’s just that you have to pay for premium membership to access everything. But for what you get for free with them is more than you could ever hope.YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I got this to help when my dog decides he wants to go socializing when I'm not paying attention, dont misunderstand I always give him loads of attention and have him very well controlled but occasionally he sneaks away to be social with others. Ive used it a few times and when activated he comes running back to me right away. The other day I dropped my wallet in a parking lot and discovered I lost it when I went to get it at a gas station. I opened the tile app and locator found it way far from where I dropped it. I went to the location that had now been updated twice, I looked at the locator again and it wasn't in range, so I checked hoods of cars and found a warm car next door, checked location again and now the rings.said it was in range. I knocked at the house and a man answered, I said I think you found my wallet and he looked at me confused but then replied yes I did and was going to report it to police tomorrow. He went to retrieve my wallet and I thanked him over and over for giving it back to me. I realized later I should have called for police back up but it was in a nice neighborhood and didn't feel threatened at all. Thank you tile for saving me hours and days of trying to replace IDs, credit cards, debit cards, medical cards, pictures, etc etc. Ordering the pro version today for myself and some friends for xmas!

Why the Borg catchphrase as the title of this review? Well, like the borg the Tile Mate is cleverly engineered and efficient, but it's really only going to shine as part of the wider network, which requires a subscription fee. As part of the collective you can flag a device as lost and it will show up whenever another Tile user is nearby, increasing your chances of having the item returned. Honestly, it's a good system and at thirty quid a year I'm almost tempted. If you decide you don't want to spend the money on a subscription service, there's still a lot of value to be had.One tile, attached to your keys, for instance, and linked to you phone lets you track down your keys when you have your phone,or call your phone if you have the keyring. If you've left your keys on top of your phone somewhere then you're out of luck.Setup is simple BUT you will need to create an account, which make more sense if you are going to subscribe. Now, there are similar devices without the worldwide network which cost much less, so you should possibly weigh up the cost versus the value to be had from the phone app and the 2 way communication between the phone and the Tile device.Really like this, as I am getting to that point where the forgetfulness is real.

I bought 4 tiles about 2 years ago during Christmas. It has been a life saver many times. Example: we were leaving a store after check out, I told my 11yo son to check the cart before he put it away, we get to the car and I cant find my keys. After looking for them for a few min I go inside wondering how in the world I would find my keys in this store. I remember I have a tile and it started ringing! My keys were in a cart that someone had grabbed and was using. I would have been looking around that store with my 5yr and 11yo. TILE saved me!My complaints: when I use my google assistant to find them,it says it cant find most of the time. The battery cover comes off pretty easily. They are a little expensive for the amount I really would need.Places to put a tile:-kids shoes (1 for each shoe)-kids coats-kids backpacks-kids laptops for school-my glasses!-mypurse-husbands wallet-my keys-my husbands keys-2 Kids controllers-Fire stick remote-Apple tv remote-Samsung remote-my coffee cup! OMG if i could ask my google assistant where my coffee is... Maybe i could actually finish the cup! There are so many things I have said I need a tile for this.

I'd thought about purchasing these for a long time, but always felt they would be a bit rubbish - as they are only bluetooth. However - I'm pleased to say I'm actually really impressed. I like that it isn't just a sound, but you can track how 'close' you are to the tile using the app. They aren't GPS, so unless your phone is within range of them, you'll be out of luck (but you can as the community to 'find' the tile - this is a free feature, doesn't require subscription). The range - well, it's difficult. Bluetooth doesn't work great through walls etc., however if you're just trying to find something in your home, a quick walk round with your phone soon sorts out that issue. There are extra features if you subscribe, however I don't think that any of them warrant the price of it; the 'free' features work well and perform the functions most will require.I don't like that the 'slim' is a non-replaceable battery, as this makes it a brick once the battery is dead; not good on cost grounds, or indeed green credentials - however a guaranteed 3 year life is pretty good for the device. The slim does fit into purses (even small ones) really well.

I was skiing last week and hit an icy spot on a double black run and wound up going down the rest of the run on my back, sliding off the trail and stopping in deep snow. After collecting my thoughts, I got back on my skis again and continued my day of skiing without any other mishaps. Except for one thing. It seems I lost my keys someplace on the mountain and I expect it was when I fell. I then remembered that I had the Tike Key Finder on my keys and pulled out my phone and activated the Tile key finder app. Sure enough a map came up on my screen giving me my location and the location of my keys. My friends and I skied to the place the Tile App said my skies were and it was the same location that I fell earlier in the day.Because of the deep snow we couldn’t seethe keys, so I activated the sound function which sent out a beeping sound to my keys and we were able to hear the sound of the yen’s under the snow. We Doug up tge keys and everyone ewasamazed we found them. It saved me so much trouble as I would have lost my car key, house keys, and 2 fobs to unlock and start my vehicles. Great product

As I'm sure the case for most people, bought this after having an incident of losing keys and spending an hour and half looking all over work (1sq mile) so I could drive home. I actually passed my keys twice in the search, before a colleague found them on the third pass. Having had this key fob would have helped me on my first pass hopefully, sounding once I was within proximity. Now I will say the time it takes for the phone to connect to keys within 10m can take upto a minute, so you will have to walk slowly. But atleast you could also get pinged if someone else with the app pings your keys if you mark them as lost. Luckily since that escapade, I've get my keys close to me, even with the fob on.I have a couple of times whilst the keys where in my pocket accidently pressing the button on the fob, causing my phone to ring a siren in my other pocket, minor price to pay.As it was a pack of 4, I used one for myself, gave two away to family and gave the last one to my colleague who helped me find my keys.

BATTERIES ARE NOT REPLACEABLE IN THE CREDIT CARD SIZED TILE !!Ok, once again Amazon reviews seem to be for a combination of different Tile products. I read that “batteries last 3 years” and “can be changed” but the latter does not refer to the credit card Tile that I have just bought. A bit annoying - I would not have bought it had I known. Let’s hope I do get at least 3 years out of it.That said, it is very straightforward to set up and does seem to work. I really like the 90’s Mobile / Game&Watch style of tunes that you can set! And they vary sufficiently in pitch, which helps better with finding the item. And a great feature is the ability to make your phone ‘ring’ even if it’s on silent. So assuming you’re not unlucky enough to lose your phone and your Wallet Tile at the same time, one can help you find the other.Pretty good but annoyed about the battery thing - especially as there are other Tile products which do allow you to change the battery.

Most things that are lost, aren't really lost in my experience, they just aren't where expected or are hiding in plain sight.I spent 6 hours one Saturday looking for my keys. They weren't in the house, they weren't in the pub from the night before, they weren't in the pub car park, 8 miles there and back to check. They weren't in my wife's car who picked me up the night before (in the taxi sense rather than a Vegas style wedding), or in my dad's car from the journey to the pub. They were in fact on the floor, under the dressing table in the bedroom. Tile purchased that evening. Now every time I loose my keys, wallet or phone a quick check on the tile app confirms where they are, anxiety of loss instantly evaporates.A bonus feature is that if like me your phone is always on silent, ringing it to find it is pointless. A quick press of your tile makes your phone ring out loud. Great.Phone battery doesn't appear adversely changed.

Love this product!! Simple as that. The newer generations are a lot better than the originals which I had previously purchased. The replaceable battery makes life so much easier and seems much more beneficial, to me, for both the customer and the company.I know some people have issues with the distance you can activate the tiles at but I never find I’ve lost anything at a further distance of 60m. It’s normally in my home where I’ve missed placed things and this makes my life a lot easier. Instead of spending hours searching I now know I have a stress free back up plan when I can’t find what I’m looking for.And best of all they’re so versatile. I’ve got them everywhere,:keys, laptop, purse, memory stick but best of all we have one sewn into my brother’s backpack. He suffers from Autism and this just makes our lives easier if we’re out and he get lost. He can ring us and we can find him!!Great product would highly recommend!!

I've had the Tiles in the past but the batteries dont seem replaceable and after about a year, they're done so the Pro is more pricey but the batteries can be replaced. Also I signed up for Tile Premium. Which I read into and apparently will send batteries every year, so that's good. The app is super convenient and I've used the tile to find my phone the reverse way as well as find my tiles on my keys. My biggest complaint is that it runs on bluetooth, so not a very far range. I wish that there was something like "find my phone" how you can sign into Google or Apple and see the phone location on a map. I really need the stickers to put on my remotes and the slim to put in my wallet,I'd like to put one in my passport and on my laptops but they are so pricey that I'll just have to wait until they go on sale and since I signed up for email alerts on the website, so I get notified about upcoming and ongoing promotions.

The last time I bought a key finder you had to whistle to make it beep. This is much more up to date, using bluetooth connectivity. I feel the 60 meter range is adequate for finding your keys in the house, so pro version which is bigger I think is not needed. The size is perfect and I added the app to my phone along with another phone for work. If the app is closed down and you press the button on the tile the phone will open the app again and ring. The ring tones on the tile can be changed. And a second phone can be found by the first phone using the app, useful is there is no mobile network. The tile will only make the first phone ring which is register on the app. All in all I am impressed, and I decided to buy another for my daughter. After 1 week I now realise that you can set off the tile in your pocket by other pressing in close proximaty. I marked down 1 star. But in balance still a good product.

Things don't always make it back to their "home" in our house. Now, with our tiles, it's not such a drama. We've only had then a month or so and the time saved, already, has probably paid for them.Setup was easy, although a little patience is required for them to connect at first.Tracking an item works REALLY well. One tip: we put one in a purse (as an easy install) and found that the button on the front kept on getting pressed and so it kept dialling home - which is not what you want! We changed this to a small keying, attached to the zip, and the problem was solved.Probably the biggest challenge (which isn't big at all) is attaching the told to the relevant item.Considering trialing the Premium option (where it,basically, reminds you if you're about to leave without an item), to take it to the next level, but things are working well enough for us at the momentIn short: we love these!

Tile has changed my life! Losing my keys was so stressful, frequent, but the Tile has really been a great purchase. So overall, very happy. My first Tile box (4 Tiles), were given to me 2 or 3 years ago; I was very happy until the built-in batteries wore out. They continued to work, even though messages from Tile told me that they needed replacing. Then, I updated the Tile app, and they just stopped working, which REALLY annoyed me because I assumed it was done on purpose to make me buy replacements. As a result, I stubbornly refused to buy any more- I thought that because they were working before the update, that it was very mean of Tile. Eventually, I bit the bullet and bought 4 more tiles - this time, with replaceable batteries. They didn’t work as well as my previous ones , but this was only because my iPhone 5s was only just supported by tile. I needed to get a new phone. I bought a new SE2020
