I have to travel to King's Cross and on the Tube across London to multiple sites at least twice a week, the journey was getting too much with a bulkier backpack (Osprey Nebula 34 - had for years and fantastic btw) and just painful with a standard laptop bag. All I wanted was something durable, streamlined and with a professional look.I'm a QA auditor so it needed to fit a 15" laptop, iPad, powerbank, charging cables etc, laptop accessories, ID passes and lab-coat as minimum. I looked for a long time including at the Victorinox/North Face/Samsonite ranges and decided upon the Thule Subterra 23l. Confident I made the best decision. This pack wastes no space. It feels almost bombproof but looks just so smart and does not bulk out at the back. My things feel secure. All I need with me can fit and that's without even using the side and front pockets. The way of ensuring no dangling straps is a convenience I never knew I needed until now and adds to its smart look. I'm 6'6" and broad-shouldered, the pack is comfortable to wear and has made the journeying so much easier.I use Amazon all the time and almost never write a review, just felt compelled to this time as I'm seriously impressed by this. Delivery wasn't Prime which was a little disappointing but the price was attractive and delivery via DPD was earlier than scheduled. If you need a pack that'll improve your commute and looks the part, holds your essentials like mine, hopefully I'll save you weeks of research and just trust that this is the best option.

I was tired of carrying my laptop to uni in my old Nike backpack, and I wanted a more sturdy backpack with more room. I came across this item on a website that was promoting environmentally-friendly companies, of which Thule is one. I liked the sounds of the company in terms of the materials they use and the environmental self-awareness that they pride themselves on as a company. This backpack was a bit on the more expensive side than what I was planning to buy, but this is 100% worth it.It has a special padded compartment to keep my laptop protected against bumps. It's extremely spacious, and yet it's not overly large. I am 5'4" and it is the perfect size for me. The interior is bright orange, and there are many small compartments and zips for storing wires and smaller items. There is a small zip compartment at the top to store your phone or earphones or wallet/purse for easy access when travelling. There is a buckle that you can tie when the backpack is on your back to prevent theft.I love the colour of the exterior and interior, and I am positive that it will last me many years of travelling to university and work and the gym.

This is a tight backpack which possibly carries less than others with a 23L capacity. That's actually really helped me refine my daily carry, eliminating stuff I used to carry 'just in case'. It feels great on the back; has exactly the right blend of quick access versus central capacity for me, and looks great. Would have been a bit better if the main compartment zippers went down a bit further - if I want to pack in a jacket, for example, it has to be quite violently stuffed in. That said, no regrets, and warmly recommended for office-bound commuters.

If all you want to carry is a 15" laptop, a notebook, your cables case, a mobile and a small jumper/jacket, this bag is absolutely perfect. Top quality build and materials, looks great.Shame this version doesn't have the slide adjust chest strap you get on the enroute, and if there's anything else in the main compartment, you won't fit much in the the side pockets, definitely not a water bottle. For me it's too small. Returned it for the 30l version.

I love this bag so much! I can fit the following inside: 15" MacBook Air (& charger), iPad Pro, Bose QC35 headphones, Logitech Master Mouse, glasses, small bag of cables and a beanie hat... with room still to spare! Nice and sturdy, but also light and comfy to wear.

Well made rucksack that looks good and is just about the right size for a commute. Front pockets are useful but side pockets are just abit small to fit anything much in. The main space can be abit hard to access if you have a big laptop with a case on like I do.
