This fits easily onto the Easybase, and there are no tools needed - just straps which make it very secure. It swallows a lot of luggage, and as other reviewers have said, it's completely waterproof.You can't use it empty, and I tend to fill this first and then move onto the roofbox for what doesn't fit in - the Easybase can hold 45kg, so you can get plenty in it.There is a small padlock provided, but it's very flimsy and wouldn't stop a thief (Who would probably just slash the bag anyway).It folds away neatly into its own separate bag for storage.I felt it was a bit too expensive, but I can't knock it down from 5 stars because of that.

Big, high quality and easy to clip to Thule carrier. Was able to take everything I usually put in a Land Rover boot when we go on holiday. Means I don't have to have a roof box - which would have been a pain with such a high car. Watch the weight though (if using a Thule carrier) as it's easy to over pack as it's so big - then is heavier than the carrier weight limit. Much easier to take things in and out than a roof box and can be easily taken off the carrier and folded down and stored in garage when not needed. Expensive but worth it.

The product is as described. A strong bag, easy to store and suitable for a rear mounted vehicle rack. We have gone for a bak rak slightly more expensive and complex but in my opinion better. The benefits are flexible and easy use and easy to store on arrival. Less secure but that is clear when purchasing the bag rather than a hard box. It's easy to install. It's best used full and can accommodate a lot of luggage. It is expensive but Thule is excellent and for me this bag is a good solution to creating more space in our VW camper.

Bought this so I could carry the BBQ, awning and other miscellaneous junk on the bike rack to make room in the VW camper.It's fitted well and easily onto the VW T6 bike rack.It's huge and swallows everything with ease, it's beautifully made from top quality materials and it will be 100% watertight.The diagonal straps across the top not only secure it firmly to the rack but also squish it all down if it's not full.Really pleased and highly recommend.

seemed a lot of money for a bag but went ahead as I could not find a better alternative. however when I received the bag I was feeling a lot better about my purchase looks great; a quality item easy to put on carrier and secure: easy to remove and carry or put away as it folds in half to fits in Thule carrier bag supplied; also has paddle lock supplied .yes would by again perfect

together with a roof box on a seven seater this is a good solution to limit luggage in the car and make the journey more comfortable for the kids in the cabin. no more bags under their feet. however the unit itself weighs 25kg. so check your car handbook to see how much load you can put on top of that to avoid overloading. in my case 75 kg - 25kg leaves a load capacity of 50kg.

Very strong, sturdy waterproof bag. Holds more than you think, we managed to get all our camping stuff in bag and so much easier putting stuff in bag on back rack rather than having yo lift it up into roof box.Bit pricey but made very well and in my opinion worth the money.I would definitely recommend.

The Easybase Bag is the perfect addition to the Easybase. It gives you additional storage space equal to a large roof box. We used both for a recent camping trip, we used the bag to carry (and keep dry) our large 6 man tent and accessories leaving the roof box free for sleeping bags, clothes and toys.

I use this excellent piece of kit with my camper van it fits perfectly on the Thule easy base carrier and so now I no longer have any equipment in the camper when travelling brilliant, the bag is huge and very well made, it also has a small padlock built in. fully recommend its purchase.

I found the easy base bag did all the makers claimed was more flxable than the hard box and was completly waterproof, It remained watertight driving through flooded roads in Yorshire on a recent holiday.I cant speak highly enough of this product.

Bought this as a 'used' item in good condition but when it arrived it was clearly brand new. Absolutely delighted with it, along with the easybase unit it will make camping so much easier and the journey less of a squash. Very durable material.

Very well designed,we bought the base at the same time and was fitted to our Jeep Wrangler that has a rear door mounted spare wheel, although Thule state that its is not possible to fit on this type of vehicle,recommended.

a brilliant piece of kit, it does it exactly what you need it to do. We went away with four dogs four people and their respected food and luggage and toys (dogs not people!)

Fantastic bag, used when we went skiing as well as a top box. The bag is huge and fits lots of bags in, so glad we got it. Quick and easy to fit too, very strong fabric.

Much bigger than i thought it would be once its opened out. Build quality looks excellent & it folds away nice and neatly into a carry bag.Very impressed.
