Got this for my 3 y/o daughter for Christmas after she wistfully wished that we hadn't taken the spanner away when we got tired of finding her bicycle brakes detached. This seems to be a good, safe replacement for an inquisitive kid who's always getting in people's toolboxes. My 2 and a half year old toddler's favorite Christmas present. The pieces are a good size for little hands, and my toddler can assemble and disassemble the car with minimal help. Delighted to have an electric screwdriver that looks like a grown up one rather than a toy. Yes, the wheels come off when the finished car is played with, but my toddler loves this- when a wheel comes of he fetches his power tool and fixes the car all by himself. Being a mechanic adds to the game and the toy has been hours of fun so far. Only niggle is some spare bolts included in the kit would be useful, as if one bolt goes missing the car will be missing a crucial component like a wheel.

Bought this for our little boys 3rd birthday. He has developed a fascination for daddy's drill and loves cars so this looked perfect. Impressed with the quality of the product, the case, drill and screw driver plus the car are all well made and seem sturdy. He can take it apart and put it back together with a little help from us and this will definitely grow with him. My only negative comment would be on the packaging within the case, it would be good to have little built in compartments to put the various bits back into the case - as it is we threw the yellow plastic away and all the bits just get chucked in the case together.

bought this for my 2 year old grandson. The box and contents are good quality and sturdy and no sharp or fiddly pieces. The drill and screwdriver handles are a good size for a child's grip and the drill works easily with a gentle press on the trigger. The screws are also quite big so not easily lost or swallowed (obviously younger ones supervised while playing with this) and you can use either of the tools on the wheels.

Bought this for grandson for Xmas. I showed my son who was equally pleased and thinks he will love it. Other reviews sealed my purchase. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the plastic on the front of the case seems quite flimsy. I fear if lent on this would split. This is highly likely with small boys. So if your buying it for a present lay a sheet of cardboard over it when wrapping, or better still, box it.

Would highly recommend this toy. It has a drill which alternates directions (as real ones do) and a screwdriver, it is like a puzzle working out which screws go where. Other parents which have seen my little boy playing with this have said how brilliant they think it is and it is often the toy which my sons friends run to play with first when visiting.

3 yr olds LOVE this but could be made perfect if the plastic insert was made to put the bits back in. It's clearly only for display purposes as extremely flimsy and bits fall out when you pick the case up. Such a pity as they just rattle about at the bottom of the case. BOSCH wouldn't do it in "real life"!Good in other respects!Needs batteries.

We've had this a year now and my son still loves to play with it. It is top quality of durable, glossy, hard wearing plastic. My 2 year old loves to put it together and play with it and he also loves to use the electric drill to 'fix' things around the house. One of the best toy purchases I've made. Well worth buying.

Has kept our little boy entertained for a long time. Now he is 3 he is getting much better at using it and really likes it. One challenge is remembering which screw goes where - would be useful if they were numbered or colour coded as otherwise without adult guidance it can be quite hard for a young child to do alone

Brilliant, sturdy quality. Toss up between this and the Battat plane, and this (as a finished product and as a kit) looks much better by far.My only gripe is that the internal box is very flimsy and comes out easily - can't see it lasting, so bits will get chucked into the box in a pile.

My 2 year old son absolutely loves this. The battery screwdriver is good quality and has survived a few toddler tantrums. The switch to reverse or spin the drill to tighten the screws is a bit fiddly for a 2 year old, but he is already getting the hang off it after a couple weeks use.

Bought this for my son's 4th birthday and it has to be his favourite gift. He gets it out every single day, puts it together, dismantles it and goes around saying how good he is at fixing things like his Grandad. Love this. Will be looking for more similar sets for him and my nephews.

My 4 year old God-son absolutely loved this as a present! He's car mad and was over the moon to be able to put the car together using real tools that worked! Love how it comes in a genuine looking tool box too.His older brother aged 7 also loved to steal a play with it too!

Our 3 three year old grandson enjoys playing with this and he uses as a three year old, but this toy would suite any age it is very well made and safe he will get years of playing with these tools as he matures a very good buy will use your company again.

Great item, with a little help my three year old got the hang of this quite quickly. I think he may struggle a bit with getting the different length screws in the right place for a while but it's well made and should provide hours of fun.
