First off, let me start saying: This product is amazing.The ring is beautiful, it looks like real gold on my hands (I guess because I'm not an expert in jewelry) and feels exactly like the one in the movies. Let me say I was expecting to be a little bit wider, so the elven inscriptions would have more space, but now that I watch it more carefully I really think this is the right way. I bought this thinking it would be a lovely piece of geeky jewellery, and it was - at first. I was dead pleased with the quality of the ring, a lovely shade of gold with nice clear Elvish markings, plus it was well packaged in its own little box and velvet bag. I put it on a different silver chain though, as the one that comes with it is a bit chunky for my taste.Everything was fine for a while, until I noticed that whenever I wore the ring around my neck I would become grumpy and start snapping at my friends and family. Then one day my neighbour told me that a strange person in a black cloak had come by while I was out, asking questions about me. I just knew it was something to do with the ring,

With these sorts of replicas, you never really know which is the right one until you see it. I ordered this after carefully considering the product reviews and it arrived minutes ago. I can honestly say I am as captivated by the ring as Gollum was. To set the mood I played the One Ring theme music as I opened the box and was so euphoric when I first glimpsed it! It's unbelievably shiny, the chain is exactly like the one in the picture and the inscription is nice and clear. It's a bit small for my Index Finger which is where it's normally worn but I can just about fit it on my Ring finger which works just as well. It says 2016 on the back packet so it's obviously a recent rendition of the item.

This ring is amazing, straight from the fires of Mount Doom, In the land of Mordor, thought delivery would be more for that delivery. Anyway this ring is amazing, and in excellent condition, bought it for my girlfriends birthday yesterday and she loves it, I just hope the ring won't corrupt her. But she loves it, she hasn't taken it off and she told me it was the best birthday gift she had. So I am very pleased. I would also buy one for myself, so i'm hoping my girlfriend buys me on for my birthday haha. LOVE IT. DEFINITELY BUY. Also this ring isn't fake like the others and has a laser inscribed rather than carved which could look messy. This looks like the actual thing. 5 STARS.

it came promptly its a shame it was in such large packaging for something so small as i spent extra for next day delivery but couldnt be at home to pick it up. the quality is great however if you have relatively average size fingers you wont be wearing this as a ring sadly, i planned to but i just keep it on the chain. the chain is of a good quality as well. i would advise not to wear this around massive lotr fans as they might try and snatch at it as its power clouds their judgement. i would also advise not to allow it to convince you to fiddle with it all the time as the black ink in the engravings does fade and rub off a little if fiddled to much.

This was my birthday present and now it is my precious! After reading past reviews about the chain rubbing the gold off I immediately transferred the ring to a black shoelace which sounds rather odd but really looks very good. The chain itself is very well made so we'll certainly be using that for something if not the ring itself. The ring's engravings are great and I was pleased to find that the entire verse of 'one ring to rule them all' etc was included around the edge, with every letter engraved just right. It's a little big for my finger but not too bad - well I'll be keeping it around my neck anyway so that doesn't matter. I'm very pleased!

There are lots of 'tat' rings out there - and when you receive them they can disappoint. this one doesnt. Only word of caution, gold is a 'soft' metal that never ever tarnishes, whilst the chain is a 'hard' metal that may wear away the gold plating, so you may wish to wear the ring on a finger or toe rather than wear it as a pendant. Also bear in mind that this ring is a gold plated accurate replica, whereas the 'one ring that rules them all' is made of uranium, which is why it burns Frodo. If you accidentally receive the 'one ring' then my advice would be to avoid touching it and summon Gandalf - he will know what to do!

This is honestly one of the best things I've bough so far. I've always hesiated when looking at these things since all the ones I've seen are very plastic-y looking and look nothing like the real thing. But this time, i decided to just go for it. It arrived in a beautiful Lord of the Rings box in a small bag and the detail are perfect. I ahven't taken it off since and it seems to be resisting my sweat wonderfully. The chain is silver and quite thin so it looks really nice, It has a clasp but it's easy to put on and off. If you're planning on wearing it, I wouldn't recommend this one however, because it is very VERY big.

This exceeded my expectations as a product. It's of great quality but if I were you I'd ditch the chain, simply because it may scratch the ring over time. The only problem with it is that on one of the letters, a tiny amount of black paint is missing, it's barley noticeable so it isn't too much of a worry, I'm sure its nothing a tiny paintbrush won't fix, but i'll leave anything like that to a professional, maybe take it to a jewlers and see what they can do should I feel the need, which I doubt I will. Overall a fantastic product, well worth the money!

Having read highly variable reviews of a range of different Rings, I wasn't holding out much hope that this - fairly low-end priced version - would do much more than brighten up my teenage son's Christmas momentarily, but it was not just a big Christmas hit. Its gold plating seems to be lasting fine despite being regularly pawed Gollum-like by its proud owner in his cave - I mean bedroom. The chain is a bit coarse - it could well be fitted with a miniature bathroom plug, but that doesn't seem to bother our Smeagol. :)

I was fortunate enough to enjoy this item for many years. It rarely left my pocket and as a result has travelled with me throughout most of my adult life. Comes in useful for sneaking out of parties early, performing disappearing acts for your friends and should you require, generally avoiding conflicts.I've since passed the ring on to my young nephew who I believe is doing some travelling of his own very soon. Hopefully he'll look after it as well as I have :)

This is seriously the best thing i have bought on Amazon for a long time. it looks awesome and fits perfectly on my finger. this ring is seriously nice, although some people say that the chain is cheap and rusts away, but i haven't seen any rust yet. if you do wear it as a necklace with the chain just take it off of you are in the shower, then you'll be fine. apart from that the ring is fine and i seriously recommend it for both the price and the quality.

An excellent gift for any Lord of the Rings fan; the ring itself is incredibly authentic, complete with inscription, and comes with a lengthy chain (ideal for cutting down to size if needed), in an ideal compact storage box. A great finishing piece for any Hobbit costume, or even maybe as a piece of original jewellery, either way, the product is of brilliant quality and deserves a place in every fans home. Would highly recommend.

This is a perfect gift for a Lord Of The Rings fan! It's amazingly detailed, it's got a decent weight to it. It doesn't feel cheap and it comes in a lovely little box and nice slip cover! I got this for my boyfriend Little over a year ago and that's it just starting to lose colour around the edges, but he wears it every day without fail. So no fault on the design at all, as it still looks amazing! Great value for money.

Nice quality item. Truly feels like the One Ring. I've been wearing it for a week now and it's quite precious too me already. I tried to hide it from my friends for fear that they would take it from me, but the ring is treacherous and showed itself to them through my shirt. I saw a look in their eyes that they would take it for themselves. But they won't get, I won't let them. The ring is mine and it choose me.
