Got this for my daughter who kept going on about it. The rules are fairly simple to play and children easily pick them up. You start with 4 teeth and as you go round the board, if you land on a wobbly tooth space you pick a card. You will either then take a tooth out, loose it, leave it or spin again to decide. If you have a tooth out and go to bed, you place it under the pillow and push the wand down the bed, lift the pillow up and there is a coin. The winner is the first person with 4 coins. You feed the coins into the bed slot one by one to start with. Sometimes when you push the wand down no coin comes out so you have to do it again. Sometimes they stick and you have to try to unstick them. The game will last only about 10 minutes before someone wins. With all these, would have normally given a 3 star rating, but because it keeps my daughter happy and she absolutely loves it, give it an extra star for the peace and quiet this game brings. The RRP is under 18.00 and thats the maximum it is worth.

We had this game for many years before recently buying it for our 6 year old niece. It has always been a firm favourite in our household and my girls played it a lot when they were young. It was the first choice when friends came over to play. It's easy enough to learn and the 'magic' bed never fails to delight; put your little plastic tooth under the pillow, plunge the fairy wand into the gap and your tooth is mysteriously replaced with a gold coin. The first one to get four coins is the winner. Recommended for five or six and upwards; even my eleven year old still plays occasionally.

Good game but wrong instructions leaflet, caused a lot of confusion as I had to return game because I thought the cards referred to were missing. I have since learnt that they were superseded by a dice but was misled by out of date play leaflet. Sloppy quality control by maker. I had to pay more from another supplier only to find same problem and it was only resolved when I visited web site to complain. Disappointed children at Xmas present but enjoyed game when in receipt of updated instructions which printed upside down and still waiting for manufacturer to supply bona fida leaflet.

This toy has been a great hit. The posting of gold coins into the slot is a particular favourite for my 3 and a half yr old and has kept her entertained literally for hours. Putting teeth under the pillow and getting the reward of gold coins has been so magical that it hasn't always been necessary to play the board game. The game has already had a great deal of use and seems quite robust. The game is recommended for age 5+ but seems simple enough for my 3 yr old when played with someone older.

This board game was an old family favourite and I have so many good memories of playing with it. So naturally I had to buy a new set for my little girl. The game has changed very little over the years and remains the same excellent quality it always was. My daughter is three and understands the easy game concept and the games are quick which is perfect for short attention spans. Sometimes we will abandon the game board and just enjoy the magic of turning teeth into gold! A great family game.

We bought this as a gift for our 7yr old daughter. She absolutely loves it. We've played it lots of times and the kids love it.The only issue I have with it is that the slot for the coins is large enough for the teeth to be dropped in. If this happens (like it did by our youngest), it's really difficult to get out. A better design would be to make the teeth a different size/design to stop them being able to be put in the coin slot.

Thought we had lost 'cards' as previous comments also, however reading other comments, someone posted a link to the updated instructions as we to thought we had lost cards in the excitement of unwrapping everything at the same time and had ready to also send back! However just finished playing a game ' which I lost!' So glad we came across the link as it was very confusing! http://www.drumondpark.com/rules/magictoothfairy.php

My 6-year-old wanted this for her birthday as she had seen it advertised on TV. After a few times playing it, she had grasped the rules and could play it without any problems. Since she is still waiting for a first visit from the tooth fairy, this is very topical and she loves putting the teeth under the pillow and is in awe of the "magic" that converts the teeth into gold coins! No educational value but good fun!

5 year old wanted this for xmas so we got it for her and once you know the rules it is a good game. Easy to set up and put away the only thing that was a bit fiddly was putting the teeth in the backpacks but we learnt that you need to kind of hang them on (half in half out) for them to sit in right. Little girl loves it the only downside was she thought she had an endless supply of chocolate gold coins hahaha!

The concept of this game is good and fun for those who love magic and believe in fairies. The idea is good but i think the design could have been improved slightly. The instructions at first were a bit confusing until you get the hang of the game you need to keep referring to them. Also the instructions stated there were cards but we only had a dice which was not mentioned, we used the dice as the cards!

This game is great fun - especially for my 6 year old who is desperate to loose her first tooth! Its nice and easy after the first round and my 6 and 4 yr olds play by themselves now whenever they want to. I liked it so much I got a second one for my niece recently too. Only thing negative I would say is that the key on the bed is flimsy and when my 2yr old tries we are petrified it will break forever...

Really good game. Easy to play and follow, even for young children. I was also impressed by the response from the manufacturer. I emailed them New Years Day to say the cards were missing. Thinking I would have to wait a week for a response etc, I was immediately emailed back with an apology and that in fact they were not missing but that they had been replaced by a dice. Good customer service.

The game itself is ok but the little bed that changes a tooth to a gold coin produced a magical "oooh" from my little niece and for that I'm giving this five stars. We had some bother trying to put the teeth in our board piece but once one of us discovered the trick it wasn't a problem. The bed itself held the most attraction and was played with just for the magic of turning a tooth to a coin.

It’s lots of fun to play this game, easy to understand and follow the instructions. The kids (5yrs old) can play it on their own. The only problem was that it was quite easy for my son to brake the main thing that take the teeth away and brings the coins in at the same time. Unfortunately we could play a singe game using this feature cos it broke straight away. But that may be just our luck.
