Pros:- Decent sound- Pretty comfortable- Good price point- Holds a 'good enough' charge- Good with their provided cabling as it can be used wired alsoCons:- Bluetooth pairing could be better for auto-pairing devices- Button position and configuration takes getting used to- Bump with the logo on the outside of the cups looks incongruous- Locking mechanism for headphones unconvincingI've been using the Marley Positive Vibrations 2 for a week now as I needed some compact bluetooth headphones for general use - music, games, work. And, so far, I am satisfied with my purchase. I listen to an eclectic mix of music from acoustic guitar to 80s pop hits to trap music and I haven't found fault with it so far from my layman's perspective - the sound was crisp and clear.I have not yet used this for bluetooth calls or conference calls, so can't comment on that or the microphone quality on this.In terms of comfort, I found the headphones reasonably comfortable. They have soft padding on the headband and cup and they didn't have a strong pinch while wearing them that some headphones do. Not sure how this grip would hold up while working out as I never tried it.The good bonuses to the Positive Vibrations 2 are: that it is good quality for its price point (currently £40), it holds a good enough charge that will last you from sun up to sun down, and they provide a headphone cable so if your charge runs out using it bluetooth you can plug it in with the wire and listen to it connected - though I have not yet had to do this.Downsides now. These headphones leak sound but they are on-ear after all, I can't complain as I don't listen to music on max outside the house.Buttons. The button configuration for me took a bit of getting used to, most headphones put their buttons on the back of the cup or on the side of the cup - which is easiest to reach. The Positive Vibrations 2 places it's controls on the right cup, facing forward. These buttons are fairly robust so can't complain, maybe the middle button for power on could be more textured. Also, when fast forwarding you press the top button, I would have liked this to be the bottom one.Bluetooth pairing was great on all devices except for a device which auto-pairs, my MPOW bluetooth transmitter looks for a nearby item to pair to and it takes a good minute to initially pair with the headphones. Everything else, phone, laptop, and other devices paired very quickly with the Positive Vibes 2.The next thing is the locking mechanism to keep these headphones locked in their open position is not convincing. It uses tiny plastic bumps to keep the headphones in an unfolded position. I am not sure how these will hold up over time as they already start folding with a good jolt if I suddenly pick them up.Last negative is the design, looks wise I like it mostly, they are obviously different to current offerings in this price point. When you have them they look great - except - there are two bumps on either side of the cups which house the logo carved into wood. The wood is a nice addition, however these bumps on the sides of the cups mar the look. Not sure if they were needed for the wood or for the space to allow the wired cable to connect, but they should go if these headphones get a revised design in years to come.

The instructions are written in such tiny tiny writing a magnifying glass had to used to read them. Ironically, they state "do not use without first reading the instructions," a bit frustrating.Rather cleverly – while promoted as Bluetooth headphones – they can also be used as standard wired phone, using a circa 4’ lead. The result is the best of both world – wire-free if your device has Bluetooth, and a standard 3mm plug if it doesn’t. One tiny snag is that this lead does seem to want to tie knots in itself if left on its own for more than five minutes. When running on Bluetooth the battery time is also a very impressive 12 hours, based on a 2 hour charge – and the headphones can still be used, via the 3mm plug wire, while they are charging. That said, the charging lead that comes with the ‘phones is very short, so if you wish to take advantage of the ability to use them while charging you will need to buy a longer lead. The ‘phones are “on-ear”, which means that they are smaller and lighter than over-ear phone, but not as light as the in-ear phones, which can be uncomfortable and also often lack sound quality. However, this means they have to be well-padded as they squeeze down on the ear. It may be just me, but after an hour (never mind 12) I find even these well-padded ‘phones begin to get a bit uncomfortable (especially if you wear glasses, as I do). They can be adjusted to head size, but not ear size. The sound quality is pretty good, much greater depth than in-ear phones, but again it is a compromise as external sound still bleeds in – the sound cancelling is not as good as over-ear ‘phones. So overall these are good ‘phones, but not outstanding ‘phones. I love the ability to switch between wired and wireless, the battery life is great, but… well, there are just too many small “buts” for this to be five-star. Overall I like them, but I do not love them.

Loved these headphones from the very first moment I heard music through them and to me that’s what matters most when selecting a good pair. I’ve got, and had, quite a few pairs of headphones and in-ear earphones, but at the moment these are my favourite. What I like most is their balance of tone. They’re not too tinny, nor too bassey they’re in that wonderful Goldilocks zone of being just right and that is more difficult to achieve than one might think. Personally I listen to a lot of classical music, but these were equally good when playing reggae (thought I’d better since they’re the House of Marley), rock, ballads, folk, electronica or whatever I put through them.In terms of aesthetics and design, they’re light, soft on the ears and headband, relatively unobtrusive and finished off with a nice wood logo. My only slight gripe was that they had to be at full extension to fit comfortably. Now, I know I’ve got a reasonably large noggin, but I worry about how these might fit if the wearer has an equally large dome and an extensive hair-do like an Afro. Personally I liked the soft headband because I have the opposite of an Afro. They hold a charge for a considerable length of time too and they are reasonably easy to charge from a laptop or pc. Would have been nice to have a plug adapter for the cable though, in case you don’t have these and, like me, you’re using a phone or tablet to listen to music from. Not entirely sure if I can use the charger from these with the headphones yet. The headphones do pair very easily via Bluetooth though and have a good range. To be honest I don’t really use the other functions and I know other reviewers have covered these already in detail. For me they’re just used at home purely to listen to music through and in this respect they’re awesome!

I have never owned a pair of bluetooth headphones before so was a little worried about connecting them as I am somewhat of a technophobe! However, they were very easy to set up to my devices. I absolutely love the colour (sort of a petrol blue) with co-ordinating denim, dark blue and little wooden emblems which make them look very stylish. I was particularly impressed that they are made from environmentally friendly and socially responsible sourced products as protecting the environment is very important to me. The deep cushioning on the ear cups make them very comfortable to wear as well as blocking any noise out and preventing others from hearing your music. They were extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time (I wore mine most of the time on an 8 hour flight!) and the padding on top of the headphones rest nicely on top of your head. They were easy to adjust to make bigger or smaller for a snugger fit. The sound quality of these headphones is phenomenal. It is crystal clear without sounding tinny at all and the base line is fabulous. They successfully block out surrounding noise and I am immersed into my own world of music when I am wearing them. The headphones are easy to charge and the charge lasts for a good 24 hours. An added bonus with these headphones is that they fold up and come with a neat little bag to store them in when not in use.I absolutely love these headphones as do my family members and I would say they are probably the best pair of headphones I have ever had. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends and think they are excellent value for money. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Got these after destroying another pair of wired headphones and deciding to look at Bluetooth ones.I'd give 2 stars for faulty pair and 4 stars for replacement. My first impression was that they look great. I love the colour (black & gold) and they're not too uncomfortable or bulky while wearing. Unfortunately my first pair didn't work with the detachable aux cable you use when it runs out of battery and you want to continue listening. It kept cutting off whenever the cable was moved slightly. This may not be as important to others but I wanted to be able to use it if I didn't have time or just forgot to charge the headphones. Bluetooth worked with that pair but even then the sound seemed very quiet.Amazon did immediately sent a new pair next day which I have just received. The second pair seems much better. When I first used the aux cable no sound came out of the right ear but I think It wasn't plugged in properly as I was able to adjust it just fine. I experienced a few crackles at first but not as much as the previous pair and they seem to be good now. The Bluetooth seems decent quality. The button controls are fairly simple and seem to work okay. The red and blue light to indicate charging/on/off was confusing at first but instructions are clear enough.Overall I do love these headphones (the second, working pair). The look of them is great. The size and fact that they are foldable makes them easy to travel with. Sound is good and they are fairly noise canceling. Its more like they muffle other sounds but havent tried the headpones in a super noisy/busy place yet. I am also yet to test the Bluetooth range and battery life but will update when I have used them more.

Only having had these for a day, I'm very happy with the sound quality, the simplicity of the design making it a doddle to connect and use and they are comfortable whilst wearing. They connect via Bluetooth at a click of a button, very simple and no fuss, and they do fold at the end of the headband so you're able to protect the speakers in there when not in use. As with other headphones of the same ilk, the folding aspect is less about saving space and more about protecting your product so don't expect to be able to fold them into something that would fit in the average pocket. They are lightweight, well padded with come equipped with a headphone jack lead so running out of power isn't as much of a pain in the bum.Another bonus is that you won't annoy anyone around you as these headphones do indeed seem to be able to contain my music played at a reasonable volume. The clarity of the music was obvious immediately and, while they may be of a certain style or taste, I think that these will quickly become my default headphones.I will update once I can attest to the battery life and the durability.Quick update, I've had these a couple of months now and I have only needed to charge them once since the initial charge. The connections remain hassle free though when using the hands-free, be prepared for some static if you touch/move the headphone jack (reminiscent of old walkmans) - not really an issue for me but could be for someone who uses their hands-free when on the move rather than whilst lying on the sofa. The sound quality is still spot on and, despite some comments based on my being likened to air traffic control, these are my go-to headphones. Love them.

I’ve had a few headphones over the years, some great, some not so great and some horrid, I’ve had a pair of earphones fromHouse of Marley, the small in-ear ones, which were very good.First impression are of a very high end product, quality packing and quality productThe headphones are very comfortable to wear and adjust to fit the head, proper headphones, nice lightweight design, fits the head well. These are Bluetooth headphones, 4.1 A2DP, AVRCP, which will hook up to most Bluetooth devices such as iPod, MP3/4 players, tablets etc, my iPod found the headphones with no problems. As with any product that produces sound, the important thing is always how they perform, they can look well-made be packed with features but if the sound is poor it counts for nothing.I auditioned these with my iPod, popped on a bit of Coldplay, and the quality is very good, loved the high notes mixing well with the low notes, plenty of bass, mid and treble without anything dominating the track, I hate to much bass, its easy for a track to be lost in the thumping sound that some makes produce, these are very impressive headphones. An impressive headset, great sound, very well made.At just under £63 they are priced in a crowed market, I think if they were slightly cheaper they’d be amazing at the price, I do have a pair of Philips Headphones which cost £39.99 which I think I prefer, but there not bluetooth, these however are still impressive but seem a little expensive. An impressive set of headphones, If you like your music then these are for you.

These are my first pair of "On Ear" headphones despite having tried the "Beats by Dre" versions a little while back. Aesthetically, I really like these. The mixture of materials including the wood inlay, the braided cables and canvas headband make them feel very well considered and I would choose this look over a pair of Beats any day. I know these are available in some slightly more out there colours but in the black they are very clean and understated with the nice little highlights. The headphones were comfortable, lightweight, easy to adjust and buttons were nice and clicky. It would have been nice to make the R & L a bit clearer on the ear cups as they are black on black which made them hard to see in a darker room but not too much of an issue. The sound quality was very good with punchy bass but not so much that the sound starts to become a bit muddy. Wireless bluetooth never cut out and had good range, battery life is great! and the included cable to allow you to plug these in was a great bonus. Only thing I would change is they take quite long to turn off and on. I would personally reduce the time needed to hold the on/off/connect button slightly but aside from this, very very happy with the product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is my first set of bluetooth speakers and this has been a positive experience. The set is very light and sound proofing at reasonable levels. It is adjustable to fit your head and touches lightly your ears. It muffles outside noise but does not completely block it. It would not be safe to block entirely external sound when you are walking about. The quality is good and the materials and performance are excellent. The set folds as the ear pieces fold inwards towards the head band so it can be packed into small bags. The connection with the source is the most important thing. While indoors, or while not moving about the signal is stead. When walking however sometimes the signal is intermittent. This is strange but I am not sure whether it is due to the source of the headset. There are control buttons on the headset that one can use when wearing it.Connection is fast and the phone remembers the set when bluetooth is switched on. Remember to press the power button on the set to allow discovery.Battery life seems as advertised and charge is easy through any generic usb charger. Note that one is not supplied. All in all a good quality set that works well.

These are the best headphones I have used for the price, and the best part you are helping the world by getting a brand that recycles and uses its resources that are best for the planet. They offer great highs and lows of the sound, with great bass. If you like bass these offer it unique some at this price level and even higher, it has better bass than beats. I find when I use these headphones they simply change your perspective of sound. If you've never used headphones before, and just used earphones, these will teach you what sound really sounds like, in a quality product.when watching programmes with them you can hear a knock at the door alike your head is near the door. It's just...pure quality sound.Thankyou bob Marley for this quality of sound at this price. My only quibble? They become scratched so easily and they start to look less new quite quickly. However knowing these come from renewable resources makes that easier to swallow. Also I own five pairs of these, due to using them to watch tv. Don't regret my introduction to these.

Bought these and loved the sound, it's very good indeed. They look pretty too, love the eco effort too and the blue jean colour/effect with wood. Cons: 1. They are tight on my ears; when I opened the box I looked and thought are these childs size? They looked so small and after a couple of hours on a flight my ears were sore. 2.When I tried to put them around my neck to carry them so they didnt get scratched in flight, they were too uncomfortable to stay there for more than a few seconds. 3. They "fold" but the metal bits stick out massively so they don't really fold! Don't buy them thinking they will fold up in any meaningful way and there is no bag supplied as they would get scratched really easily.4.Doesn't bother me really as they were intuitive to operate but the instructions were a joke on a tiny piece of paper with no useful info, very hard to read with tiny writing/instructions. Considering taking these back for these reasons which is gutting as they are great otherwise and feel like lovely quality.

The most important consideration here is, of course, the sound. These headphones provide deep bass and rich depth across a wide range of music and spoken word for this price range. The headphones are lightweight (certainly compared to other Marley headphones I have owned) and I have found them comfortable to wear over a long period. The noise isolation is pretty effective; I found that it cut out a lot of noise on a recent flight without having to have the volume particularly high.Set-up was straight forward and they were easily paired with my phone (despite the tiny accompanying instructions). The buttons are placed on the right ear and these are easy enough once you get used to the positioning.Charging is indicated by a red light that goes out once complete; battery life is good. The only real negative is that the headphones come without a case of any kind. They do fold, but with a charging cable and optional line-in cable to look after, something to keep everything together would be handy.

Honestly these are quite hard to review, simply because I'm feeling quite neutral about them. They are OK, no big niggles, but equally nothing I feel "Wow" about either. They are reasonably comfortable, the sound is OK; not awesome but not awful. The extra cord to use them as wired if you need to is nice. The design is inoffensive. But there really isn't anything to love or hate about them.I honestly think I'd rather spend less and not expect as much or spend a bit more and be wowed by them. At this price point they just don't inspire. All that said - my young niece, popped in and said "Wow love those" - so maybe I'm just the wrong market and they would make a great gift for the right age groupand target market.I certainly don't have any big criticism but I did mark them down for trying for eco credentials with the sustainable (and completely unnecessary) tiny piece of wood and then using so much unnecessary packaging.

The headphones come in a box with a charging cable and a dust bag to store them in. I’ve been wearing them everyday and they are very comfortable to wear and adjust easily. The ear parts fold in to make them compact for storage. I found them easy to connect to all the devices I tested them on including an iPhone, iPad and Samsung tv. The sound quality was okay. They were fairly loud but they need more bass. Some videos/music were hard to listen to when at full volume and I had to turn them down. You can control the volume via the headphones as well as your device. The range is quiet good which is great for whilst I’m busy around the house. Overall they are a good, comfortable, easy to use pair of wireless headphones which would be great if the sound quality was improved. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I never have much luck with ear phones, they either do not fit me properly or the sound is rubbish, that was until I got these. They came nicely presented in the box, there is a charging cable and connector so can attach to phone instead of being wireless. The earphones are a nice shape, look and feel good quality and are modern looking. I am able to cover my ears fully because they are adjustable. There is volume buttons as well as an on/off button the earphones. The best part about these earphones is the sound, it is superb. The base on them is incredible, it feels like I am listening with a stereo and not through my phone. I would highly recommend them, they are really good and well worth the money.
