Fab game for adults and kids. Just works well, nice and simple. None of us have seen the film but know the book/characters. We played this ALL Christmas with grandparents and 7 year old. You can battle all 4 monsters for a long game or just battle 1, 2 or 3. Mainly a game of luck, with some nice random dice/card elements thrown in, bit like Monopoly Chance and Community Chest) Not much strategy, but enough to keep it interesting. There's some good basic maths for my 7 year old in the game (70+20+10+30 kind of thing) which he's very proud he can do in his head.It looks good too, little figures for counters and monsters. However the little characters are hard to tell apart at first,

I bought this for my boyfriend and when it arrived the box was squashed on one side. I was a bit disappointed as it was a present but when I opened the box I was so impressed. All the little figures and cards etc are such good quality. I'm really pleased with the actual game itself and I know it will provide hours of entertainment :)

This topical subject has almost replace 'Snakes and Ladders' and 'Ludo'. Beware! The game may continue for several days. The figures are well made, apart from the Wargs figure, which is apt to topple over.

Arrived in the assured time, which was good as this was a gift, still in perfect condition when it arrived to me. The product is a bit too simple for the age-range I was expecting, but still fun to do

This was a present for grandson who gave it a big thumbs up. Three generations sat round the table engrossed. Would recommend to anyone.
