This is a wonderful whisky that deserves it’s recognition. However in terms of value for money I believe that there are a number of better whiskies on the market. The Glenfarclas 25 is among the best value whiskies on the market, and the Glengoyne 25 year old has more depth and flavour.Comparisons aside I really like this whisky. You get flavours of sherry, dark chocolate, espresso, dark fruit, toffee and vanilla. It’s one of the best high end sippers with a good balance of complexity and approachability. Not my first choice for a 25 year old but I will definitely be buying another bottle before this one runs out.

I purchased this for my husbands 40th, although he is yet to taste it, he absolutely loves it. He's tried all other glenlivets and has great expectations for this 25year old.

This is an amazing single malt - Very deep flavour - enjoyed it very much !
