We played this game over the Christmas weekend and although it was pretty fun there were a few things that diminished our enjoyment- particularly some of the questions having incorrect answers. A few off of the top of my head: Q. What is the first number in the English language to include the letter 'a'? My answer- one hundred and one; the card's answer- one thousand. Q. Which Shakespeare play has in its title the name of a London district? I had no clue; the card's answer- The Merry Wives of Windsor. Q. Which London borough hosts the annual Royal Horticultural Society's famous flower show? Our answer- The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; the card's answer- Chelsea. There were also questions which had poor phrasing, misspelligs or misprints- 'What type of gun do some British policemen use that can fire a 50,000 volt of electricity?' and some which I'm not sure I would've felt entirely comfortable to have asked or been asked by the youngest members of the game's 12+ suggested audience- 'Which delicacy from the Midlands has a name that is an American derogatory term for a homosexual?' Also I'm not sure quite how well the game board has been developed as sometimes one player could answer four quetions correctly and only move four spaces and in other situations the same scenario could propel them eighteen spaces forward. I'm not sure if the game is slightly too biased on the luck side of things which could leave you feeling a bit cheated.Yet for all of that it is really quite an enjoyable game to play. Some of the questions use clever wordplay or the category leads you to an obscure answer and you'll probably find yourself remembering pointless pieces of trivia that you'd forgotten you knew. The picture cards can be especially entertaining and it's fun (if not a tad mean-spirited) to hope that someone before you doesn't know the answer so that you can dazzle with your unparalled knowledge! Personally, I find it a fair bit more palletable than Trivial Pursuit but then that's just me. The mistakes can be a bit annoying and in the end we decided that we would just have to go by the answers the cards gave but you get through so many questions they don't really hamper your fun too much and I think all-in-all I would recommend the game.

This game really gets you thinking of days gone by. We played the game in two teams girls v boys it can become very competative but great fun.It can also be played with up to six players. It also educates you while you are having fun. It has various questions on general knowledge and British logos some modern and some from days gone by. Ideal for a mixed age group it is easy to set up and the instructions are easy to understand. We also have the other game in the range LOGO which is just as good to play.

This game is great fun for all the family. Bought at Christmas to play at Grandma's.Even after a few drinks this was simple for all to understand quickly and just enough to test your knowledge to be pleasant, not too taxing. Another thing in its favour is that the game can be over relatively quickly. This allows -'just one more...?' - to be playedAnd even the most reluctant will be safe in the knowledge that it wont take too long! Great light fun and guaranteed to be enjoyed.

I am an Italian English teacher. this board game is very useful to teach a bit of British culture and way of life....there are some curiosities, pics and many ideas to teach Britishness and English in a less scholastic way!I tried it with my teenager students and they went nuts about the game! they love to find more information about the answers on the net and they began to understand that every culture is peculiar and it is worth to know it better and to understand it!

The Logo board game is very good. You have to guess the logo connected to cars, sweets, drinks etc. I didn't like the cars because I am not into that. The other ones were great and I was surprised at what I could remember. They are quite a lot of references to America in the game which we did not understand but apart from that its a great game and its funny when the players are desperate to win the game. Excellent game to keep the family from watching too much TV.'

As a family (age range 10-56) we had enjoyed playing the Logo game. I had been looking for a game similar to Logo and bought this from the same company. Have played it several times over Christmas and since and have been pleased with it. It helps to have mixed age groups in the teams. All the questions are to do with things British (as suggested in the title) and its fun to find out how much or how little you know about your own country. Good family game.

The board and counters are a little confusing. Wasn't sure how to move on the board and it was beginning to become frustrating, so in the end (there were 12 of us) we adapted the game. The questions are current so within a few years I guess they'd become dated, but I loved the different varities of question and it's all based on things going on in Britian (clue in the title).

This game was brought as a present for my father in-law for christmas and he absolutely loved it. The whole family which included three generations sat down to play this boardgame, everyone which ages ranged from 8 years to 54 years were able to answer some questions, understand the rules and have fun as a family. Good present for a person who is hard to buy for.

Bought this for Christmas, as we had enjoyed the TV Logo game so much last year. Played a number of times since, particularly enjoyed by my Mum (70) and youngest (9yrs). So definitely for all ages. The questions cover such a broad range that its not just the brainy boffins who an answer questions!!10/10Bought for competitive price on Amazon- would recommend

This board game is great fun for family and friends. This lighthearted board game tests your knowledge of Great Britain. There's a great selection of subjects including pictures which adds to the fun of the game across a wide range of subjects. Once you've got the hang of the rules away you go. It's easier and more fun than some other quiz games I've played.

I wanted something modern which leveled the playing field when playing with my family. Usually in the 'trivial pursuit' type of games, the trivia is dated and either appeals to the young or the old. This game was great as there were some 'old' topics but equally there were 'young' topics too and in general most people could enjoy and contribute.

We bought this after enjoying the Logo Game so much and this one is just as good. This game is brilliant fun and one you can play with all different groups of people: friends and family alike. Well devised questions and a good amount of cards to ensure they don't become repetitive. An excellent choice for after dinner entertainment.

You will know more than you think. Finish to game a little puzzling to follow play it your way. Great fun. Family argued while playing. Will come out again and again. The first one was good. Its also a nice easy game. For age groups 8 + we had mixed teams so went well. Get the children to read questions, good reading practice.

Definitely one of the most successful xmas presents i bought last year. Got it for hubby, played on boxing day with the family. Similar lay out and rules as the "logo board game" which we also have and is well played. I think this one will keep coming out on "games nights" with friends and family.

I bought this as a gift for my sister and her husband, they were thrilled with it as they love trivia of all kinds, so I'm looking forward to playing it with them again next time we visit. It's nice to have a regular board game that is a fun challenge with questions for most family age groups.
