Well, I would never think I would become a Teva sandals fan. Never wore sandals before, nor flip flops, but only sports shoes.I always had prejudice opinion about sandals because they looked odd., nerdy and out of place.I never understood why people would wear these shoes, but heck, I changed my mind.It was when I was in shoe store and I decided to try them on out of curiosity – why do people wear them? First, I tried the Teva Terra fi 4 model. After walking a few steps inside the shoe store, I completely changed my mind and became an avid Teva sandals man. Yes, they still look odd, the sole is bulky and quite nerdy, but when you put them on and walk with them, the sandals do not feel as they look.They are so comfortable, the sole Is so soft and you do not feel the straps because they are padded. You need to try them out in order to understand this. The sandals do not feel like you are wearing sandals, unless you are looking at your feet, and I decide that I did not care about their looks or what would other would think of them and me wearing them. I understand now why people wear them, so I decide to buy the Terra fi 4 (blue size 9) that were at a discount at the shoe store.I can recommend to anyone who hesitates about Teva sandals to try on first the Teva Terra fi 4 model and you will never go back to wearing shoes in the summer. They cost more than other Teva models, but if you can find them ata discount, they worth any penny.Second, I tried the Hurricane XLT2 model. This model does not have a padded straps, they don’t have a bulky sole, and the sole is not soft as the Terra fi 4 model. They do feel different on the feet, but again when you put them on and walk with them, the sandals do not feel as they look (odd and nerdy) but a proper summer open shoe and you can forget after a while that you are wearing sandals on your feet. Even for the Hurricane XLT2 model, I can recommend to anyone who hesitates about Teva sandals to try them on and you will never go back to wearing shoes in the summer. Now I am thinking that after my good experience with these 2 models that they should be more popular and common in the summer.I bought the Hurricane XLT2 from Amazon after I found them in a discount (brown, size 9).If you are convinced, try first the Terra fi 4 (i think today there is a newer model - Terra fo 5 universal) they will win your heart, but the e Hurricane XLT2 will also suffice for those who would like a less bulkier sole and less expensive sandals.With Teva you can't go wrong.

I stopped wearing the strap-on type Teva's or other brands, when shortly into the new milenium I bought a pair and theycaused my feet to smell like yesterday's death. I've never had a problem with foot odor. I tried many ways to stop the problem and finally tossed the almost new ones out.I was leary of this problem with these and also with sizing. Back in the Day, when you measured out to a 10, you ordereda 10 in whatever type of footwear and things FIT.Nowadays not.I've worn these as my only footwear since June. They fit true to size and the utility is great. Very comfortable after a short wear-in.Regards,Death Valley and the Dharma dog

Received my new sandals one day ago and was able to test them out today on a long walk. My first pair of Teva sandals I think is probably 10 years old, and the sole are wearing out. I never had any issues with them so I purchased Teva's again. Everything is good with the same fit and comfort as my original Teva's. My feet usually fit best in wide ( for shoes) but these straps are adjustable and I found my comfort place and off on the walk I went. Thank you for your consistency! And of course, I highly recommend these!

Over the years, I've worn several different models of Teva sandals that were similar to this one. This will be my 2nd pair of this model. The first pair had very, very long lasting soles, which I really appreciated. I've found them to be comfortable (not rubbing blisters with rough spots on the straps) and enjoyable to wear. (I live in Hawaii.) I think they're a good value for the money. I appreciate Amazon selling them as there are very few stores on my island selling Teva shoes.

They feel good on my feet and have tons of support. I love wearing flops but dislike losing mobility because of the lack of ankle support they provide. With these, I can move about carefree because every aspect of my foot is supported by the straps. I enjoy the way they feel but if I could add anything I’d say it’s possible for them to be more comfortable. I think if you added more padding around the strap areas it would feel better.

I bought these Tevas to go on a backpacking trip to Havasupai Falls. I must say I was surprised by the quality of the Tevas. I was worried that the current of the water would start wearing down the straps, but they held on fine and I didn't notice any wear or tear.I was also concerned about rocks getting under my feet since the sandals are open toe, but during my time wearing them I hardly noticed rocks at all.

I’ve only owned two pairs of these sandals in my adult life. The first time I bought when I was 20 years old and this pair I just paid almost 13 years later. The original pair lasted six years of mainly just recreational use and were the most comfortable durable sandals I’ve ever bought. Well I’ve only had these for a couple days now they are the same quality they always have been and probably will always.

These arrived today, my husband did not like them but I told him he had to wear them at least 2 days. After 6 hours of wearing them, he said they were very comfortable. Also he has diabetes and very swollen feet, but these worked great and adjusted easily for his feet. His old flip flop style were always falling off his feet. Next month I will get him another pair of these Tevas.

I love these Teva's!! They are no frills, durable and last years and years. I bought these to replace my previous same model pair that lasted about 10 years. They are great for all conditions, get them wet, muddy etc. and the rinse right off. I love these for wading in rivers, lakes and climbing ocean rocks in the tide pools. For the price these cannot be beaten.

The fit is good with three Velcro adjustable straps there is a bit of padding on the ankle strap to protect your Achilles heel. They wear comfortably and are secure enough not to worry about tripping. They seem durable and held up to a cat chewing on them, but only time and wear will tell. I ordered my usual size and they fit fine.

These are great. Super comfortable, and although simple in design stay very well put. I am 6'3", and 260lbs. I jog in them, jump around in them shooting some baskets and walk frequently in them, and they show no wear and tear yet after about 3 months.They far exceeded my expectations for a sports sandal for someone my size

I have been waring this brand and style of men's Tevas since 1994. They have always fit well and last a few years. I run in them during the summer, they keep your feet dry and cool in that use. Without the heavy pounding from running, they might last 5 years. For the price, you just can't find a better athletic foot ware.

Five star quality and excellent quick delivery. These babies are GREEN as an olive, though. They look more tan In the listing photo. The picture posted in a review below the listing is much closer to what these look like. Olive drab green. Had to return, only because the color of the listing photo needs to be adjusted

These sandals are very adjustable, although the straps can be a bit uncomfortable. A softer finish on the inside might have been desirable. My one problem with them is that they smell really badly, from the first day I used them. Even my walking shoes, after 1000 miles, don't smell. It must be the material, I guess.
