I've had them for two months now, and... I don't know. Can you be in love with a pan set?I cook and bake a lot so I have gone through a series of pans that literally ended up in the garbage after their coating failed me quite soon and I thought I would never find a decent set that would be non-stick, durable and convenient to cook in.But these pans have it all:1. First of all, the conductivity (how soon and how well heat spreads throughout their surface), is just incredible. I use them on our gas stove and I've been cooking at almost half the fire intensity than before exactly because they heat up really fast and maintain it. The first time I washed them using hot water, the heat spread throughout the surface to the point where the pan became too hot to touch! I was truly amazed and pleasantly surprised because I had never seen that before.2. They are truly non-stick. I mean truly. Nothing sticks, nothing whatsoever, to the point where you can clean them by just wiping them with kitchen roll paper. I am properly and absolutely impressed by that and my crepes turn out amazing.3. I am now able to finish my dishes in the oven without using an extra pan. I make orzo pasta with chicken for example, which would normally take two pans, and now I just remove the handle from the large one, put the pan in the oven, and voila! No extra mess or need to clean! However, there is one disadvantage: The handle itself has plastic parts which have to be kept at a distance from the fire, otherwise you get a smell of burnt plastic. So I either remove it, cook without it and only attach it when I need to move the pan for some reason, or I keep it as far away from the fire as possible. That was the only reason why I removed 1 star, otherwise I would have given all the stars possible.A wonderful set of pans, and I can't believe the price to tell you the truth. Even if they only last me for another 4 months, it will still be way more than my previous ones, and at an unbelievable quality.

I did quite a bit of research into new pans when I decided that it was time to replace my old, cheap ASDA home range pots and pans. These pans came up top of the list both in terms of being a well known, trusty, sturdy brand and with me having a rather small kitchen, the "Ingenico" space-saving design made them a definite winner for me.They arrived in a compact sized box, which immediately reinforced the "space-saving" concept, opening them I was pleased to see them well packaged with cardboard operators between each pan to prevent scratching in transit. I immediately washed each pan upon removal and then experimented with the detachable handle which easily clamps on and off with a simple button press to secure, and an additional button press to release whenever necessary. The handle can be attached at any point of the pan and it very sturdy and strong, I tested by attaching the handle to the largest pan, placed all the other pans inside that one and lifted them all at once with one hand, testing the weight and the handle showed no signs of struggling or giving way.Cooking with the pans is amazing, the signature Tefal "hotspot" indicator in the centre makes it easy to know when your pan has reached optimal cooking temperature and with very little oil required as the pans do a great job at being non-stick. Cleaning afterwards is a doddle, a little bit of washing up liquid and a few swipes all around with a pad is more than enough to clean away any residue and oil. Then once done, detach the handle, store the pans away all stacked up and place the handle in a drawer or even inside the pans for next time!.Overall, I am very pleased with these pans and would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for cost-effective, sturdy, amazing quality cookware that won't take up a massive amount of space.

These pans are amazing. The simple idea of a removable handle is fantastic for many reasons. There's just no need to have a handle apart from when you need to move the pan while it's hot! Having the handle off the rest of the time means they stack far more compactly and take up SO much less space, are much easier to clean and less likely to spill and cause accidents on the hob - plus the handle will never come loose and need screwing back in like with a traditional pan, simply because the handle isn't supposed to be permanently attached in the first place! The pans themselves are very sturdy and insanely easy to clean - almost wipe-clean in most scenarios. The handle opens and closes with a very satisfying "clunk" that gives the impression it's very well-made, and grips tightly onto each pan when required. I'm in love with these pans! The only thing you need to be weary of is that the saucepans don't come with lids (because a lid won't fit while the handle is attached) but we just use the lids from our old set of cheap pans and they fit perfectly when the handle isn't attached. Highly recommended!

Love these pans. We have a small kitchen and cupboard space is at a premium. Our original Tefal pans had the fixed handles so stacking them meant they took up loads of room and the handles would always catch on the side of the cupboard as we opened it, not to mention the lids constantly hitting things and falling down into the cupboard too. These are the usual Tefal quality but they stack so much better with the removable handles. Even the lid handles collapse flat so they can stack one on top of the other without sliding off. My only problem is the induction pan set is around an extra £100 compared to the regular non-stick ones. Still a great set though.

Bought to use as a camping set as the 'Essential' version is thinner and lighter. I've had a couple of the heavier 'Induction' pans for a couple of years and couldn't live without them. Perfect for transferring something from the stove into a small combi microwave (in convection oven mode) , which preheats way quicker than the full size range oven. Our handle has melted very slightly from one or two times where we've forgotten to unclip it, but just cosmetic damage and we're more careful now! The non stick has held up better than on any other pan I've had

Used these while staying at a relative's house they were so good had to buy some for myself. So easy to stack and the food just slides out of the pans and can be put in the dishwasher. Also can use any of the pans to cook anything in. Some sets have a wok but I use the sautee pan for stir frys and no splashing because of the high sides like in a frypan As has been said the only downfall is there is not a large enough lid to fit on the steamer which of course you need. I just bought a cheap metal spatter lid which fits up to pans of 31cms.

I use these pans for camping trips as they aren't suitable for induction cookers and am very pleased with them. They stack into a very small camping kitchen cupboard with plenty of room left over. I have arthritis in my hands but the handle design is still easy for me to use and very stable when attached. They clean very easily (important when washing up facilities are basic!) and with the addition of some pads between them and a strap to hold them all together they survive rattling around in the trailer with no problems.

I haven’t replaced any pans for almost 8 years now so needed something worthwhile. I can’t recommend these Ingenio pans enough. Great quality plus the detachable handle is a stroke of brilliance and very sturdy. I’ve since bought the sauté pan and wok, both of which are equally impressive and amazing quality considering the pretty low price. I’d like to try the ‘expertise’ range of Ingenio pans at some point but to be honest it’s hard to see the point considering how effective this set is.

Great set. Perfect for storage in a small space, handle works really well and is sturdy. I can't see any scratches from attaching the handle mentioned in other reviews, but even if that's the case later on, that won't impact the cooking abilities, so let's not get crazy. Used on electric hob, heats up nicely and the red circle indicator is useful. Tried out the "from hob to oven" option - works well too. Definitely recommend this set!

Only used a few weeks but everything good. Love the fact that these are stackable. Good non-stick. Only criticism is that the handle come very low on the frying pan and it's made of that hard plastic that has a horrible smells if it starts to burn... I use gas and so that's happening often enough to irritate. Since space saving was key for me, I can handle it and just take care to have low flame when frying.

I bought these for my motorhome where storage is at a premium. The detachable handle is very strong and grips well. All pans are well made and should last for a long time. The one downside is that the lids are only sold in sets of three despite the set having only two saucepans, so you have a spare lid which won't fit - I guess you just throw it away. Why not include two lids in the set?

Love these. They fit into each other making storage a dream. The handle is great, clicks into place with ease. It feels well secured when attached. The advantages of limited storage space was the main reason we went for these. They are light weight and look fantastic. We can always add to the set of we want as there is a whole range of Ingenio products.

Love this set of plans. Such a brilliant space saving idea. Fit perfectly in my pan drawers without handles sticking out. The detachable handle feels really secure.. Particularly pleased with the steamer which holds a generous quantity of vegetables and cooks them quickly and retaining great taste.

Having pondered for a long time about replacing my saucpans I chose the tefal ingenio set and was very pleased with my choice , excellent quality and design and super heat distribution ,I would definitely recommend this product to any cook wishing to replace their saucpans with a quality set.

Got these for use in the campervan and they make life so much easier - easy to clean and store. The only one criticism I would make is that the pans are 'so slippery' they can slide off the stove when cooking if your are not careful - that can be a bit of a pain. Otherwise they are great.
