I purchased a Barska scope of the same specs as this Tasco and what a mistake that was. They wont warranty it so I had to purchase this one. This scope works very well and is very clear even when zoomed. Typically scopes lose focus as you zoom but this one holds focus very well. Was able to fill the scope with an 8" target at 100yrds and had clear vision. 4 Stars is because of the tripod. WOW! not a lot of time put into that part. Yes the feature ideas are great but not quality of any kind. Be careful of the legs they will cut you and the tripod head needs work. If you want to make minor adjustments you are going to have to lubricate that head a lot and tap it back and forth until you get lucky and your target it centered.

This economy scope works great for me and fits my need at the range. It's not one of those high dollar $500+ scopes but if you want to stay within a tight budget, this is well worth the purchase. The view is clear and free from any distortion however at a long distance you will see some shaking but I've just learned to cup the scope with my hands to steady the view. I'm very happy with this scope and would not buy another to replace it. Comes with a hard case but included is a nicely made nylon bag where you can also fit the tripod that comes with it.

I purchased the scope to take to the firing range but decided to try it out on the scenery and was really impressed. Even though it was a cloudy and somewhat misty day I was able to see feature more than 1000 meters away with good clarity at the 60X60 setting while holding the scope. Great buy.

Optics appear to be excellent. The only problem I encountered was the effect the wind has on the scope due to the very light weight. Other than that the scope is excellent and well worth the price.

Bought for a Christmas present and the recipient uses on a frequent basis. new tripod was required but it was a height issue rather than quality.From what i am told its very good!

It does the job at the range. Use it to check target at 100 yards. Good for the price point.
