After a spell of tank builds I thought I'd try something smaller and quicker to build. Well the Universal Carrier is definitely smaller but is just as big a take on as a bigger tank, mainly due to the detail of equipment and the three figures that can all be seen once it is built. Not a criticism, this was a great build, usual Tamiya quality, with very little touch ups required. Really enjoyed this, took me out of my comfort zone but was really impressed with the final result. I'm an average builder so the results I have got should be achievable by anyone with some modelling experience. If you're thinking about it, then just go for it, you won't be dissapointed!

Excellent model kit in 1/35 scale. Includes the vehicle and three figures. plus a lot of extra bits of equipment to add to the model as required. The kit is made of styrene-based plastic and plastic cement is required for assembly. The tracks are one piece vinyl. The instructions are in Japanese, English, German and French and are very well illustrated. Note that this is a complex kit and model making experience is required.

I never received my order. Had to order it from another seller. The one I received from the second seller went together well. Is a very nice kit. The addition of aftermarket kit, etc. really dresses it up for a war weary vehicle. Looks good in a diorama or alone in a small vinette

A nice little kit by Tamiya - made up very well with virtually no clean up - this went into a Normandy diorama as a captured vehicle being used as the personal transport by a Panzer officer - got the ides from seeing one on the history channel - and it looks pretty good too

Excellent kit goes together well the pic shows the finished kit with a few bits of aftermarket stowage. easy build good for beginners as well as the more experience modelers

Cracking old school Tamiya kit, built one previously with no issues. Prompt delivery too, I've had stuff from this seller in the past - never any issues, very reliable.
