I bought two 1/48 spitfires one was a Revell easy kit and the other this Tamiya. Building them at the same time the Tamiya kit is far superior. It goes together really well and the level of detail is really impressive.Simplistic build but you can add as much detail as you like. Very impressed but I would avoid Revells "easy" range.

I always thought of the Spitfire model as one of the entry points into modelling. The one that everyone starts on, the common and perhaps lesser valued one. I was wrong. This Spitfire is Chilli on Chips.
