I can recommend this for people who have done a few models before but want to get better at adding detail as the 1:48 scale allows you to add the intricate bits and detail it well. once you have built the model i guarantee you you will be buying more from tamiya(I didn't know how good the model would be as i had not heard of tamiya before) but i really think you will enjoy building painting and looking at this aircraft.

The part fitment has been nearly perfect- other reviewers have mentioned it's way off so it could be hit or miss on that front but I have no complaints.It's a tamiya 1/48, and at 15 pounds you could do far worse. It's a fairly simple build without too many parts so if you're an advanced modeller it's a bit of fun for a couple of days. If you're new to the hobby itll keep you well occupied!

First off this version is an old mould from 1982, with raised panel lines etc, but that being said it’s still a good kit for the price if nothing else a good filler for in between more expensive kits. I for one am looking forward to the build.

This is only the third plane I have build and I had much fun with it. The working parts were very durable,and if you use sissors to takeoff the parts there should be no trouble. An excellent model

I don’t like it but the birds just go crazy for it, unfortunately so do the Squirrels . Seriously a great product and I would recommend anyone to buy it.

This is a superb kit and it's pretty big for a 1/48! Much bigger than the last 48 scale I did. Looking forward to getting it underway now :)
