.There are 4 little kitty-cats in this family box.Mum – Georgina Maple - runs her own gelato section in the town’s Grand Department Store. She is not afraid to mix her colours as well as her flavours by wearing a primrose yellow satin skirt and royal blue top with lacey front.Dad – Theodore Maple - takes note of everything for his books on local history and places of special interest. Of course, what the other families in the village don’t know is that he is the author of a series of mystery and tell-all gossip books which are based on the activities of his friends and neighbours in the Village.Wonder what they would think if they found out!Theodore is wearing a pair of blue trousers with a blue and white stripy shirt and a red bow tie.Son – Jasper Maple – says that he wants to be just like his dad. He enjoys reading (mainly the mystery stories by “Aloysius Kitten” which he doesn’t know is his father’s pseudonym) and privately writes his own stories. Interestingly Jasper uses a penname when he puts them online – like father like son. Jasper is showing his desire to be just like daddy by wearing a similar outfit of blue trousers with a yellow and white stripy shirt with white collar and bright yellow bow tie.Daughter – Millie Maple – is a girly-girl who loves flowers, teddies and all things pretty and cuddly. She is wearing a red satin skirt with lacey overskirt, a yellow top with white collar and brown bow and belt.Initially these looked a little odd (especially in the official publicity pictures) with the tiger head and sudden white face and body, but they have really grown on me. I love the tiger striped heads it does make me hope for some more “wild” animals. The more I have looked at these little critters the more I like them.The box contains a little story book about the Maple family. Unfortunately, the print is tiny and I needed both my strongest eye glasses (and the magnifier that I use to help me sew) to help me read it.As with other Sylvanian animals these little creatures are jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips.Overall a lovely family set.

I used to have Sylvanian Families toys when I was little and now my Daughter loves them and has them. It's so nice to see her enjoying them just like I once did and Sylvanian Families toys seem to be ageless.This is a lovely family set and comes with four figures just like with other family sets we have bought in the past. The set includes the Mum called Georgina Maple, Dad called Theodore Maple, Brother called Jasper Maple and Sister called Millie Maple.As with the other Sylvanian's, they can all be put into a sitting position so they can sit down and their legs, arms and heads are movable. All of their clothes can also be removed if wished and perhaps swapped with another Sylvanian characters clothes if your child has others.I love their cat tails and their clothes all have a small gap at the back so that their tails can pop through.As with other Sylvanian's they all have lovely soft fur material on them to feel like fur and my Daughter adores their little cat whiskers and tails.The Maple Cat Family comes with a small story book which tells a little story about them and also mentions that Millie and Jasper have a younger brother called Alfie and so we shall have to try to find Alfie to complete the family.A lovely set of four family figures and as usual from Sylvanian Families they are beautifully made and very very sweet.

I'm always a little shocked by how much Sylvanian Families merchandise costs, but I am simultaneously very jealous that I never had any when I was a child. As a certified Crazy Cat Lady who still secretly wants to play with dolls, I was really excited to be offered this set. I do love their little faces, they are terribly sweet. And the packaging is nice too, with a lovely nostalgic styling. The little storybook is a good idea, but was so tiny as to be almost illegible for this middle aged woman! The story is also quite flimsy, it's really like a little paper leaflet and I missed it completely when I first opened the box. A little bit more effort in the production of the books would be a nice touch!Aside from that, the only thing I am not keen on here is the clothing. The little dolls are so nicely made and their faces so sweet, but the clothes look really cheap and nasty, almost as though the factory had a bunch of random fabrics they didn't know what to do with so just designed the clothing using them with no regard to what would look nice or match. Otherwise, these are a really nice item and I am thrilled to be able to give them a home - they have also proven very popular with visiting children!!

To be strictly honest it is the six year old who loves it. I can remember playing with them myself and loved them back in the day.On the web site is a whole lot of gubbins about the names of all the animals and their roles. Not reflected in any way on the packaging or the evil internal leaflet telling you how many other varieties you could collect.Not that it is bothering us. We've named them ourselves. Theodore, Georgina and Jasper not part of our social repertoire....... Maybe it is the names that makes if one of the more expensive four animal set. Mind you the clothes are nice.The usual little articulated arms, well made outfits and cuteness.Oh,and the packaging is not as sturdy as other stuff I have had in the pastas the perspex extends into three sides.

This Maple Cat family is very nice indeed. My children reacted very positively to this set and love the outfits in particular. Given that you get four figures, this represents really good value, given the cost so that is another good reason to buy the family rather than individual figures. This is a well made, well detailed set and I'd recommend it - my children have already introduced this family to their big Sylvanian collection and watching them play is lovely to see. If you also have a Sylvanian fans with you, then I'd say this family will go down well.

Aww these little kitties are just the cutest! These are ginger Scottish fold cats and they are just adorable! Their clothes are so beautiful in my opinion and they all have such cute little faces! I recommend this family in particular as they are one of the cutest..... but again, that's my opinion. I am sure if you get these you will enjoy them, yourself or your little ones this is one of my favourite family's and once again I recommend this family I just love sylvanian families!

The Maple Cat Family seem more colourful in design than other Sylvanians we have. We love their adorable outfits too!Our girls have really enjoyed playing with them alongside the new Town Series tram. As with other Sylvanians we have, they appear very well made with great attention to detail, particularly with their outfits.They come in a nicely presented box with a story all about them which is great to read at bedtime.A perfect gift for Sylvanian fans.

The Maple Cat Family are a lovely addition to the increasingly diminished family sets of Sylvanian Families, I remember a childhood friend having frogs, beavers, badgers and moles amongst the usual when we were little, not so creative in the range now but these are very very sweet.These are designed to fit into the new Town series with the dashingly dapper daddy Theodore driving the gorgeous

A very cute traditional looking Sylvanian, nuclear, ginger and white cat family...mum, dad, boy and girl in little outfits. My 6 year old loves this and plays with it amongst all her Sylvanian play kits. The packaging has small clear plastic loops holding each cat onto the cardboard background with each tail poking through the cardboard.

This is a lovely family which I’m happy with and got for a good price however the packaging wasn’t adequate it was sent in a white Jiffy bag and the products packaging was damaged upon opening. All the clear plastic front is ripped. As this is a Christmas present it’s very disappointing as the presentation isn’t very good.

My daughter welcomed the Maple Cat family into her growing collection. When asked for her comment she particularly liked the "nice dresses and stuff". It was hard to get any more explanation out of her than that, but watching her play with all these characters in her private imaginary play world is fascinating.

Another lovely set from Sylvanian Families, to add to existing play sets to add extra play value.The cats are all dressed in sweet outfits and are very well made. They fit in with all the other animal sets and buildings very well and are of the usual top quality I expect from Sylvanian Families.5 stars

This new Maple Cat Family is very lovely and sweet - a great addison to any Sylvanian Families collection! Their clothes are very elegant and stylish like all the cloth accessories in the fantastic new Sylvanian Town Series which is very detailed and elegant.

An absolute bargain for this lovely Sylvanian set.My 4 and 7 year old are massive Sylvanian fans and were delighted to tick the Maple Cat family off their list.They've already played with them for hours.

They're sylvanians, they're cats, they have cute little ears. What more do you want?Box was smashed worse than a Gregg's steak slice given to a toddler, but I purchased it knowing that.
