We have a couple of tracks of these spotlights, and they were fitted by our electrician with the same bulbs but size 80. Maybe that has been partly why they have never lasted very long as I only found out recently that it is recommended to use R60 / 63. Our local electrical wholesaler seem to have great difficulty getting these bulbs and they are expensive (£6-7) so I started to look for a cheaper source. I'm glad I did as these bulbs look much better in the fittings, were delivered very promptly and at a better price than the bulbs we have been using.That's all I can say at present as they haven't been used for long, but I will try to update the review with regards to longevity in due course.Well recommended supplier.

They only have a short lifespan.I've tried cheaper versions and more expensive versions but they don't seem to last that long.I may move over to the LED, I know these are triple in price but I can't keep buying these all the time, so uneconomical really.But they do give instant bright light, very impressive.Shame the lifespan are so short.

This is a lot brighter than a regular 60W reflector bulb with the same screw fitting. The beam is a little narrower, too.I actually bought this for use in my Durst C35 photographic enlarger, and it had greatly reduced my printing times.

The original energy saving bulbs were hopeless as they took too long to come to full power and it was never a clean light. These bulbs gave instant bright and clean light. I would reccommend them to any one.

I am glad I chose this replacement of 100w tungsten filament spotlight. The wattage is 50% of that one but the light and direction of beam is much improved - and my wife who uses it is most impressed!

Excellent product, long lasting, gives good amount of light at the right angle. The delivery speed was fast! Overall anexcellent product that I would recommend

These are quality items, not cheap imitations from china or the like. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for these types of bulbs.

Good price, arrived quickly. OK, it's not 'Green' but it chucks out the light. Yes, it runs hot, but that reduces my heating bills as well.
