Although the finish is a bit rough and ready, this is an inexpensive and fairly light crankset with the elusive shorter crank arms for children. The four bolts (they're not rivets!) Go through the outer ring and screw into the middle ring, which is threaded. The inner ring is riveted to an extension of the middle ring. All of the rings are steel, and when you've got them off the crankset is nice and light. It's a 104mm bcd fitting so there are hundreds of options for rings to fit to it: the one thing you can't do, unfortunately, is to separate the inner from the middle ring.Not to worry though: if you want a triple, it's a triple. If you want a double, replace the middle (and maybe the outer as well)

Great price, ideal for kids who need shorter cranks. , 140/145mm would've been even better but nigh on impossible to get in 104 BCD.Quick delivery from Germany. Happy days!
