Having had experience of Waboba balls for a few years now, I decided to buy one for a recent holiday. Looking up the various types they had, this one is heavier and faster than the orange and blue original that makes for great competitive play and if you're a bit of a sadist like me, aiming a deliberate shot at other people (a game mode many of my friends now actually employ).If you get one of these and ever have the opportunity to cover a decent space in a pool, a good game a friend and I came up with (that I got other people into along the way) is spacing out really far away from each other, and doing long arching throws to other each other (or other players if there is more than 2 of you).

I bought this to take away on holiday for pool fun times. Has a great feel to the ball, very solid (dense even) and floats so you don't spend your time diving for the ball every two minutes. What was a little disappointing though was that I found it very difficult to 'bounce' the ball in the water when throwing. It didn't seem to bounce or skim the water as suggested no matter what angle/velocity I tried. This wasn't a major problem, as you can get some good distance on a throw due to the make up of the ball itself, so leads to a great game of catch! Would highly recommend if you are not bothered about the bouncing ability. Obviously this also works great out of the water too and can even be used as a type of stress ball to squeeze!

Good product.I took this on holiday to a villa with a pool with me. It surprised me at how well it worked.It takes a little knack to get good with it but it's fairly easy to use.After extended use in a swimming pool, and obviously getting bounced around on concrete too, I found the skin started to sag a bit when wet. Once it had dried it was fine again but this is something to consider. It doesn't seem to affect performance of the ball though.Overall a fun product for the family and with friends. A word of warning with any ball based sports though, this bounces very quickly and very high so watch out for items around the area of water. We managed to break a few bottles and glasses...

Bought this for my two boys as part of the beach / pool kit bag. We had great fun with it, but it's not for confined spaces or busy pools. It will easily bounce from one side of the pool to other at FULL speed... We had it skipping about 30 meters across the pool and out the other side. We found using it in the sea was less dangerous to our fellow holiday makers, gave us more space and produced unexpected bounces off the waves that added to the fun.If you're looking for something to throw at your friends and family; while hoping to land the occasional body shot, in the pursuit of fun, then this is for you.....if you're looking to play catch in the pool with kids, then look elsewhere.

We already have a Waboba basic and had great fun with it for the past couple of years, (it's still as good as the first time we used it by the way and it's still great fun).BUT, my son has got a bit bigger and his throwing distance has also grown.This ball is a serious outdoor water missile, (don't even attempt to use it in an indoors pool unless the pool is empty of other swimmers and over 30 metres). This ball is for LONG DISTANCE and because of this you need to stand well apart, (20-25 metres whilst warming up and gradually spread further apart).If anybody can make this ball bounce more than four times I take my hat off to you!To echo the title, "Great Fun!"Enjoy.

This is brilliant- it takes alittle bit of practice to get the ball to bounce on water but it certainly does what it claims to. A large expanse of water is ideal and preferably without too many obstacles (people) in the way, so isolated beach is ideal. It isn't all that robust in terms of material construction- quite soft material- but that is what makes it bounce, so just a word of warning that it isn't indestructible and abit of care needed to avoid it ripping on rock, etc. That being said though, it is a fabulous toy and a source of huge amusement!

If you enjoy throwing a ball around when you are at the seaside, this takes the fun to another level. Having the ball bounce up at you from the water surface makes the catching more challenging and more spectacular. It is for older kids of all ages as it requires a bit of power to be most effective, and it can travel extremely far and extremely fast. If you have not tried one of these balls, you must.

Launching the Waboba Pro is possibly the most fun you can have in a pool. Watch this red and black demon speed and skim off of the water creating havoc and destroying all in its path. Busy pool? Clear it in seconds with a few solid pitches. Even those sunbathing are not safe, those around the poolside twitch nervously as the next Waboba could have there name on it. Well worth a fiver of anyones money.

Needs a lot of power to get the bounce effect across the water. Unfortunately too unpredictable and long a bounce to use at the small pool at our holiday villa and it often bounced out of the pool and down the steep hillside! Would be best at the beach but again on our holiday the beach was a little too crowded to enjoy its full potential. Would be amazing on a quiet stretch of sea.

Seen this item first in HMV, But before I got the item from Amazon, I went onto you tube. great video's on there.Its Small, but as some weight to it.All ages love it.Buy one and watch peoples faces when you bounce the ball off the sea.......Be aware it goes quite away out at sea. so unless your a strong swimmer. Don't bounce / skim it to hard. lolEnjoy !

Brilliant - took this on holiday with us to the Caribbean and the kids (aged 25,26 and 27!) had great fun in the sea with the ball.Its a really cool plaything, very sturdy and robust and really does bounce across water. They actually manged not to lose it too. Delighted with this purchase and would recommend it to children of all ages!

This is probably the best thing I've bought all year. Not only do my friends respect me more, but other people want to be my friend because of it. Word of warning, you are going to impress a lot more boys than girls with this bouncing bundle of joy. It will not get you a girlfriend but it will get you cool points. And they last longer.

Excellent bit of fun, and bounces on water as stated.The ball quite soft but firm, and its covered in a nylon skin. It does exactly as it is supposed to and what it was designed for.Based on our experience so far I can highly recommend this product.Purchase without any concerns and have some fun.

Good item. spent a long time deciding between the different models of waboba. We took this one to the beach on christmas day and it works very well. Better with overarm throws than underarm. We played for a long time and it didnt get dull! floats well and is light to carry around. a good toy!

I ordered the Waboba specifically for a long beach trip. After using the ball for 3-4 days it had a few moulding issues. As you can see in the photos, lumps started to appear. However strange it was the ball still bounced and played excellently. Hurts when you get smacked in the face!
