Quite possibly the best iteration of Street Fighter. This arcade edition has a great range of characters old and new, with very fluid graphics. The content is full with multiple avenues to attempt in the arcade section, the story mode is a nice touch, but not at all challenging. There is a strong survival mode - with a range of difficulties. The stand out element for me is the challenge and training modes, these are very thorough - and explain the subtle game play elements well. In this version, there seems to be an almost endless way of doing combos and the linking seems quite wide for some combos - enabling beginners to pull off some satisfying moves.I've had a bit of experience of online - quite positive, but quite a delay in finding matches. The lounge is a nice addition - where you can browse lounges to play with friends or randoms. The online seems pretty responsive with only a few cases of lag.Over-all for the price, there is now A LOT of content, and earning fight money is a great incentive to play as different characters, and then buy the DLC for no 'real' money... good call Capcom (although it would be nice to earn the fight money a little easier - and through the arcade mode).Over all very happy with the purchase - recommended for street fighter fans

I am in love again. Ok I might be a little biased. I have been a Street Fighter fan since the Street Fighter II was on the arcades (people remember those)? Since then the graphics have gotten some much better, with varying results in the game play. SF4 and now SF5 seem to have gotten this right. I love the arcade mode settings and bonus materials. I think something people are upset for not having Evil Ryu in this game. I can actually explain this, in the storyline by this stage Ryu has actually achieved balance between the two sides of the Hadous.I only have two small complaints of this game is as a huge Ryu fan i think his moves should have been added to in some way as a master of both sides of the Hadou, and why the hell is Sagat left out of the game? Aside from that the moves in the game are a very much like the SF Alpha series, which I think is great. The Graphics are amazing. I do not mind the stills for the ending at all, especially as the general story makes up for all this in the cut scenes and videos. This is a must have for all Street Fighter fans.

I love streetfighter V its a great edition in the series the cast is slowly growing and some characters are really coming into thier own (ie Ken and Akuma) rather than them feeling like clones. The music is great with loads of nods to old tracks. The game play is the smoothest its ever been. However 2 problems the loading screens really break up the action between arcade fights and character selection. Compare this to street fightee IV that is pretty poor for a next gen sequal. The online is great.. then you find the good old online lounge where you can fight your friends over and over.. and realise how bad the connection can be!Not once with any of my friends have i had a good fight with clean connection and this really bugs me as the random online fights are fine. Its a let down from what i love about Streetfighter IV. Needs fixing but high hopes.

It's the game that the original SFV should have been, much bigger character roster and a new V trigger for each character is a nice touch. I would have gave it a 5 star rating but say if you didn't have the Internet in you would not be able to access half of the games fighters. Also the fight money system is very stingy and it takes hours of toil to unlock certain characters that you will desire like say Sagat etc. Also costumes are the same, very expensive and Capcom obviously want you to pay real life money for the unlock able characters etc and this is the reason why I can't give it a 5 star rating as all these characters and colours are probably on the disk that you have already paidfor.

The game is beautiful, and runs butter smooth on a good gaming PC. Fairly long load times between matches, even on a pretty good machine (AMD FX 8350, GTX 780, SSD), are a little annoying for me, but not too bad. Online play runs pretty good if you set up your battle options to exclude people with bad internet connections (not Capcoms fault!). And yes, sure, not all the content was there on launch, but loads of video games do this now. On that issue, I'd say if your a casual player who likes story mode, wait till the free June update when story mode is getting added. If you're a player who more enjoys online play, then buy this game now, but that parts great!

This is a brilliant fighting game that's brimming with content. There's story mode, character stories, arcade mode (featuring nostalgic playthroughs of every SF game), Ranked battles, Survival, Trials & Extra battle to sink your teeth into. With this version of SF5 you get 12 additional characters featuring the likes of Akuma & Guile and you can also earn fight money in game to unlock upcoming characters like Blanka. The gameplay really is exceptional & it's a far cry from its original release which was bare bones. I personally suck at fighting games but that hasn't deterred me from enjoying this game. Hadouken! :D

Finally! After two years of wishing...it's at last the game it should have been. Graphics sweet, even on low tech setups; content is all you could want; fight money enough of a temptation to play other characters and look forward to having enough for the next released one, even offline. Between this, Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat XL you've got the only fighting games you need at the minute if your a nineties fighting game head like me. I love it.PS: I have never played this game competitively online, because I suck and am broke...mostly because I suck tho

Street Fighter is one of the best fighting games on the market. Refreshed with new characters including the original characters. The graphics, game play scenes are amazing! If you have a large 4K TV the images are impressive with the colour and clarity. Still exploring the game and lots to explore. The game introductions is a movie similar to Tekken which can be long and unnecessary. Glad the arcade version was resurrected by Capcom for the PS4. Some games are best played arcade mode.

This is my excited face. I bought 30th anniversary because I wanted the original Street fighter feel and I wasn't a fan of the mutations in SF2. I watched a very short video of SF5 and loved the visuals. I bought it and have to say I LOVE this game. Imagine a remastered and graphically upgraded SF2 with massively improved animation. This is the game that has caused my Street fighter love to become vulcanic again for the first time since I was 14. Buy it. It's bloody brilliant!!!!

I was previously playing Ultra Street Fighter 4 with my kids on the PS3 during the Covid Lockdown. When my PS3 died, God rest its soul, I wanted a new Street Fighter to play with my kids.Pros Graphics are really good. Controls are good and responsive. A huge roster of characters, stages and costumes Cons Long load times Can't change the health level to make an opponent weaker during player vs player versusGood service on Argos' part.

Excellent fighting game and true street fighter experience, having purchased this game on its release and having been fairly disappointed in regards to what was available i.e. no single player or arcade mode, however the "bones" of the game were strong in regards to the fighting gameplay, reviewing the game now with the arcade mode and improvements I can say this is an excellent street fighter game with it own identity and good range of characters.

Last time I played this I was at university and had hair. Now my daughter discovered it and i'm back in the game. Great fun and on occasion I can even win playing my daughter. We didnt have the game previously so the update codes being the only difference didnt really concern us. According to her it vital we have these extras. However in summary great fun as it always was and brought back some memories and the price on amazon was great.

The game runs smooth, 60 fps and the graphics are nice. The characters are lovable and the environments are colorful and nicely designed. The only downside is all the dlc content you have to pay for to access to all the new characters, but the arcade edition characters are good enough for me, so it is all good, plus the price is reasonable and the game is fun. 5 stars from me.

After many years, bugs, and frustrating gameplay since its release, I am now enjoying SFV almost on the same level as SFIV. Keys are responsive, classic moves are easier to pull off, I can select more classic versions of Ken or Ryu as well as give them fighting styles I'm more familiar with. Also, it's not as hard navigating with keyboard. Keep it up!

Great game. Got back into Fighters and this is a perfect starting point for new players to get into it. Is easy to do combos with enough practice and timing. It's not so hard as they toned the difficulty if execution. But there are some combinations that you need to be a lil quick it at but I'm sure with enough practice, new players will become pros.
