Faultless and exceeds my expectations. This is a mighty fine piece of kit from Stanley and will serve me faithfully for the rest of my life I know it will.I see one reviewer giving it 3 starts because he thinks it is a heavy duty thing and maybe he thinks he can screw whopping great big giant screws with in torque it to 3 tonnes pressure. This of course it not made for that sort of abuse and it is just for the odd job around the house and indeed electrical work too.The screw gripper is perfect.I notice people complain too about no instructions :-) this I have to laugh about but who needs instructions for a screw driver?Just common sense is all you need.I think it is fantastic for the price andalthough Stanley now I think are made in China but what isn't these days? These are probably made in China but they are one of the better Chinese items and will last for many years.I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

I bought this to replace one I "lost" [ha ha] on site. For getting screws into difficult places where your fingers won't reach [e.g. recesses or inside enclosures or cabinets], it is unparalleled. The mechanism looks flimsy but I kept my lost one in the rule pocket of my work trousers for over two years, and it didn't break or deform. Also doubles as a useful standard screwdriver and the swappable bits mean I can deal with old slot-head screws without having to go back to the toolbox. This newer model cures the one small gripe I had - the cap would sometimes come adrift when driving in screws. this has been solved by adding a positive lock on the cap.Highly recommended

This is ideal for getting screws into difficult to access locations. The great advantage of this version, compared to other alternatives, is that it is supplied with 6 bits, Phillips PH1 and PH2 , Pozidriv PZ1 and PZ2 , Slotted 3 and 6 mm. It can also be used with other 1/4 hex bits.It is, perhaps, not the strongest screwdriver, but once the screw is started, it can then be firmly screwed home with a more robust screwdriver.Compared to the basic "Draper 02266 Ratchet Screwdriver" with 14 bits, for £4.60, including delivery, this screwdriver is expensive, but the Clip-N-Grip facility is a great benefit.

This really is an excellent tool. Far superior to any single bladed version I've seen in an equivalent price bracket and the cheap versions, which I've tried, are a waste of cash. This is great for awkward places, where it's difficult, if not impossible, to use both hands. Also, I do repair and maintenance work on model locomotives, where the power of the magnet in the motor tends to pull fiddly fixings towards it; this solves that problem.

As you get older trying to guide screws into awkward places, e.g. the sides of disc drives, screw drivers that can hold the screw while you hold the disc drive are a really useful addition to the toolbox. I have only one niggle and that is that top of the handle where the rest of the heads for different types and sizes of screw heads are stored does have an awkward habit of coming off so I just take it off before I start work.

The selection of screw bits makes this a veratile tool. The mechanism for holding the screw is secure and efficient. The fact that the mechanism for holding the screw grips from each side may mean that it could be difficult to get a screw into a very confined space as the width of the screw head is enlarged by the gripper. Overall it is very good unless you are trying to get a screw into a very confined space.

A real handy grip screwdriver for holding the screw steady in difficult to access areas. The grip mechanism is easy enough to use, and it comes with six assorted sizes and types of screwdriver, and has the reputable brand name of "Stanley"

Brilliant tool to add to anyone's kit. Sturdy and versatile with all the bits neatly kept in the top. Holds the screw for you. Very handy. Def' recommend to the occasional D I Y er, or the full timer. 5 stars!

Very useful. Helps me handle those tiny Meccano bolts with my shaky 85 year old fingers. Only problem is, it's rather large for the tight corners. Could Stanley produce a siz e smaller version?George Mac.

I bought this screwdriver set for when I want to fit screws in difficult to access places where the screws tend to fall out before I can screw them home. They do this very well.

A handy tool for getting screws in awkward places. It is a little bit flimsy, so not suitable for heavy jobs. Easy to use, once you get the hang of it.

Just the job for those difficult areas where you can't get both hands to, screwdriver holds screw firmly in place so you can do it one handed.

Eventually found this on Amazon at a reasonable price. Nice product, useful to have the bits in the handle. Comfortable to use.
