What a simple and useful little tool this is. Using an comparatively very expensive laser level on a tripod I had struggled to accurately mark out a large plot for a garden room and surrounding decking as the laser didn't project far enough, requiring intermediate datum points (set at the shorter distances the laser would reach) and resulting in significant inaccuracies. Then I got this little beauty out, ran a very tight string between posts at the extremities of the plot, hung this level on it and, hey presto, levels easily sorted.

This is small! But I wanted something tiny. does the job well, either as a line level hanging on string (as it is is intended) or as a regular level for hanging pictures or other minor DIY jobs. Hexagonal shape means you can have it sideways and still see the bubble, whichis good when putting shelves up high. Seems sturdy and well made.

give you an indication of what the fall in ground is over a larger distance than possible with a standard level. Not sure how precise it really is, but only really bought it to give an indication for a fence job to gauge the fall in ground level. I'm sure it is fine and dandy for these kind of jobs.

What more can i say, other than if your looking for a line level, to hook onto a line for bricklaying etc. this more than fits the bill, accurate, sturdy metal construction, with hooks that look as though they will stand the test of time. As I say if you need one this is a good one.

I ordered them one night they arrived the following day less than 24 hours.I ordered 4 so I could get a slab exactly right.I strung them around the edge and then accross the middle the slab was laide and the job was completed within 48 hours.Trually a fantastic bit of kit

very easy to use and just ensures that the bricklaying line is running horizontal, particularly when setting up the first few lines of bricks . Then when building a wall the horizontal can be checked with a spirit level

Used this little line level to to set up the sub frame for a deck and it made the job quick and painless. It fastens nicely to a tight line with its apposing clips which prevent it from falling off.

The prong behind each of the hanging hooks make hanging somewhat difficult, but they are easy to bend out of the way with a small pair of pliers. Otherwise, the level is accurate and easy to see.

This line level is perfect for archaeological purposes, like section and plan drawings. It sits on the string perfectly and I have had no problems with it so far.Highly recommend.

Good little buy for price. Strung a chalkline through using it to level then checked the resulting line with a laser level. Good result so will be using for setting out brickwork.

Received very quickly and item in good condition.Hard to gauge accuracy, but needed tweaking slightly to get near to level. Easily done though.Other than that a good item.

I had a plastic one of these before which did not last long, so I bought this stanley one which has a metal case. So far it has taken more punishment and still ok.

Good product. Only thing is that you have a problem to put it on a line unless you bend one or two of the little hooks. Accurate enough, almost very good.

Dinky little line level. Came in quite handy for levelling some ground for a pipeline, using stakes and string line. Nothing I can find fault with.
