I am an amazon vine reviewer. I am reviewing the Stabilo “Green Boss” highlighter pens. There are 4 highlighter pens in the box. Their colours are orange, green, yellow and pink.I use highlighter pens on a regular basis. Currently, I am refresher training for all of the safe practices related to scuba diving using several guidebooks, charts and dive computers. There are related questions too, that I have to answer to check for my understanding.I have been using all of the 4 colours of the Stabilo “Green Boss” pens to either highlight guides in a particular section or, to underline key phrases in different chapters. Where my answer to a question was wrong,I have highlighted this in orange so I can go back to clarify and reinforce my understanding.I can’t draw very well, but I have found that over the years if I do “picture” mind maps and lines etc in particular colours, that it helps me to understand and remember topics. The Stabilo “Green Boss” highlighter pens have been perfect for this. The chisel points are very rigid and enable me to use the wide or narrow part of the tip depending on if I am highlighting through the body of the words or just putting a line underneath them. Also, I have been using the pens in my workbooks to draw shapes, lines, arrows etc to relate one paragraph to another. The pens make facts and ideas really stand out.The other key environmental reason why I decided to review the Stabilo “Green Boss” highlighter pens was the fact that they are made of “83% recycled plastic”. Also, that they were refillable. I checked the amazon sight for refills. The refills are a see-through plastic tube where you attach the tube to the tip of the highlighter nib and then squeeze in the fresh ink. The tubes are recyclable too. The coloured pens each have a code – for example the pink one is “6070/56”. So, you can get a refill that matches the ink perfectly. A well-planned design, minimising waste.I visited the stabilo.com web site where this plastic recycling initiative reduces landfill. Also, the information tells you that you can leave the lids off the pens for up to 4 hours without them drying out. The nib widths mentioned above are 2mm and 5 mm at the thin and thick parts of the nib. The ink should be enough to draw 375 metres of lines too before you need to refill the pen– very impressive. It will be a while before I can check that claim out!Based on my activities with the Stabilo “Green Boss” pens I can confidently rate them at 5 stars. Also – another key factor – they are fun to use!

Stabilo Boss have always been my "go to" highlighter pens - they last well, great colours and don't dry up the moment you forget to put the cap on.These are the exact same pens but with (small) green credentials - they come in a cardboard box instead of a plastic wallet, and the pen case is made mainly (83%) of recycled plastic. The internals themselves are identical to normal.Refills are available, but I'm a bit sceptical about this feature. Firstly, they cost almost the same as the pens themselves, especially if the pens are discounted and the refills are not. The refills consist of a plastic tube that goes over the tip, and the ink is then squeezed back up the felt tip. So you don't get a nice new tip,and it's going to be tedious to refill. If the refills were 20% of the price of the pens, I would go for it. As the refills come in a plastic tube, there's not that much benefit overall, anyway. But disregarding the refill factor, these are brilliant highlighters, and it's good to see they've done away with the plastic packaging and are using recycled plastic for the pens themselves.

Highlighter - STABILO GREEN BOSS Wallet of 4 Assorted ColoursThis is not the sort of pen that I would normally purchase or have a use for, but they are always handy to have in my desk. The pens are supplied in a thin cardboard box, not exactly a wallet but it does keep them together. A good thing about these is that they are constructed from 83% recycled plastic. Each pen is quite large, they are easy to grip in the hand having a finger and thumb grip either side of the pen. The cap clips on securely, it's also easy to remove. In use the ink flows freely giving a consistent unbroken line when drawn across the paper. One thing I do like about these is that the cap can be left off for up to 4 hours without drying up.This is handy as you don't have to keep popping the lids on and off if intermittently using the pens.Well made pens that work without issue, I could not fault them.CONTENTS:1 x Green1 x Orange1 x Yellow1 x PinkThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

These good quality highlighters are made from 83% recycled plastic – 5 StarsMore eco-friendly than many, this set of four highlighters is predominately made from recycled plastic and comes in a cardboard sleeve. The colours are bright and include yellow, orange, pink, and green. I found them very useful for picking-out different features while researching (using one colour to highlight dates, one for locations etc.) Good for editing, and colour-coding my wall-planner too.Perhaps the best feature is that they don’t dry-out easily. Also, they are comfortable to grip, and the cut of the nib allows for fine underlining as well as highlighting.Overall: Effective, nice attention to detail, and eco-conscious.Excellent!

The Stabilo Green Boss highlighters produce nice and bright markings. The yellow stands out on white paper and although the orange and pink are not far apart in the colour spectrum, they are distinct from each other on paper. The highlighters are also nice in that they don't smear when used over pen rather than printed material.Although admirably made with a high percentage recycled materials and with an eco-friendly facility to re-fill, I can't see many people going to the trouble to do that when the re-fills are as expensive, or more expensive, than the highlighter pens themselves - a bit of a shame. That missed eco-opportunity aside, these are a good set of highlighters.

I got these for my uni work to help notate my class notes. The pack comes with four colours, green, pink, orange and yellow. They're the usual bright highlighter colours we've all come to know.I like the black plastic packaging an the colours clearly displayed on the side, they're easy to grip so you can use he angled nib. They work really nicely on paper and leave a good solid colour that last well.I like the idea of the plastic being mostly recycled (83%) and that the nibs are refillable. Although i feel like most people wouldn't take this option and would most likely just throw them out :/No price currently but i'd pay £5-6 for the set as they'd last well.

Like most things in life cheap highlighters are a false economy and only lead to frustration. Best to shell out a little more and go for decent quality, which is what you get with pens from Stabilo which are always reliable. With these they are ergonomically designed to be easy to hold with grips on either side. The nib is nicely shaped to allow for underlining and highlighting. The colours are differentiated enough to be obvious and the ink flows nicely. The caps are secure but the 4 hour non-drying time is great to not interrupt your flow. Nice that they are thinking about the environment and use cardboard and recycled plastic. Refills are available too.

Stabilo have long been the 'goto' for felt tip pens for me. I have several types of pen from themThese felt tips are 83% recycled product and therefore favourable. The colours are bright and clean and the tips are firm which mean you can use them for a thin or wide stroke. The colours are water based and don't dry up for about 4 hours if the top is left offI'm not sure I would bother with the refillable feature since the refills are pretty much the same cost. These are good quality and so I would recommend them

Fairly standard highlighting pens in four colours; they work well enough, with bright, transparent, fluorescent pigments and a claim that they can last four hours with the cap off without drying out.Rather more puzzling – they are apparently refillable – but there's no information on this; does one refill them with water? Are there refill inks available? The pens are made of recycled plastic and they are supplied in a cardboard pack.Perfectly functional - if a little pricey.

I swear by stabilo products and have had them throughout my childhood and teens. I still purchase stabilo now and am satisfied with these highlighters for sure. The colours are vibrant and nine of the highlighters are dried out yet unlike other brands. Once my boy is older I will purchase pencils etc from stabilo as I trust the brand and know they will perform and last longer than cheap branded pens.Great colours with a little wallet so the pens are kept together nicely.

These highlighters work just as well as you'd expect from a Stabilo pen, and have the added benefit of being made with 83% recycled materials. They come packaged in a cardboard sleeve, to further cut down on the plastic used. Their claim that the pen won't dry out with the lid off seems to be true - although the longest I left it was a couple of hours.Great pens, work well and with some good eco credentials too - well done Stabilo.

As a blogger I go through a lot of highlighters. I’m very impressed with these.Firstly they are made from 83% recycled plastic so that gets a thumbs up from me. I like that they have a four hour cap off time. I’ve lost count of how many highlighters I’ve lost due to them drying out when I’ve left the lid off. Can’t fault these highlighters. They highlight well without any problems. Not much else I can say a list these.

Got these for my daughter who is in Year 9, she loves highlighters and highlights lots of her notes, as they are being tested constantly at school. She says these are great and loves the recycled part. They have continued to work, we have chosen to go with Stabilo highlighters as they do tend to last longer, although are slightly more expensive.Great product. Will definitely purchase again, once these have run out.

First I need to tell you that I did not purchase this item but it was sent to me by Amazon in return for an unbiased and honest review. This pack of four highlighter pens are made from 83% recycled plastic and have dry out protection, also are refillable! Stabilo are the best highlighter pens in my view, maybe some cheaper ones available but I know from experience they just don’t last.Recommended.

16.3.2020

These are fairly standard highlighting pens - but they are made from recycled plastic, which is worth a binus point. They are also badged as refillable - but quite how or where you would getthe ink from I don't know. They are strong colours, don't dry out if you leave the top off for upto 4 hours and they are comfortable to grip. All at a price that won't make you wince.
