Lovely bit of kit, well done SRAM!I had a 11-32 Shimano cassette on my 18-speed Trek Cyclo-Cross bike, but the bottom-end gearing was too high for the horrendous hills where I live. I ordered this, which was a perfect replacement and my gear shifters needed no adjustment, it just worked.HOWEVER, there was a steep learning curve for fitting - the lock-ring on the old cassette was so tight I broke one chain-whip (which I bought specially, along with a lock-ring spanner) and even punching it round with a metal-drift and hammer had no effect. So, I had to ask my local bike shop to help. They had to use a vice mounted on a heavy work bench to undo the old lock-ring, and even that was a struggle!Apparently, this is a common issue.Tip; If you don't have a workshop and all the tools already you may wish to get your local bike shop to remove the old part for you, and if they're doing that they mught as well fit it for you as well!If you like my review kindly VOTE for it.

Awesome. I love this cassette. I must tell you that I'm no bike expert. I replaced my worn out sram cassette on my mountain bike. The chain kept skipping on my old one and there were a couple broken teeth. This was an easy replacement. I used the lock ring off my old one as others had problems with the chain clearing the larger lock ring on this one. I also had to buy the special tool to remove the lock ring. No big deal. I love having the smaller range of gears. My old set had gears all the way up to 32 teeth. Which is totally unecessary unless you are doing some serious climbing. Now I have a lot more usable gears on my bike with this casette and no more chain skipping when I crank it hard. Also replaced my chain. My bike shifts smooth now even while I'm pedaling hard.

I hesitated about installing these due to the SRAM hub profile, but have found that if the correct spacers are used, and the lock nut is tightened properly, the hub should not be damaged by the SRAM weight saving shark fin hub profile. Make sure you use a spacer when installing onto an 11 speed hub, as advised by the wheel/hub manufacturer, or else you will probably see damage as there is very little contact area between the cassette and the hub. this spacer may come with the wheel or hub. I went down to an 11-26 from a 12-25 and couldn't be happier. increased speed capability, but missing out on a few intermediate cogs... not a big deal to me,though some people may see an issue with what I did.

I ordered the 11-32t and had a couple of issues getting it to work properly. The first problem was due to my own inexperience in trying to pair this witha short cage 105 derailleur. Had problems shifting into the 32 gear as well as maintaining proper chain tension. I ended up swapping the derailleur out for a medium cage and that solved the issue. The second issue was shift skipping on the 11 gear. As another reviewer indicated, this was due to an oversize lock ring that came with the cassette. I used the old lock ring from my previous cassetteand that resolved skipping problem. This cassette paired with a medium cage 105 shifts smoothly and crisply, I am very pleased with this purchase.

First SRAM cassette ever... I should've bought it sooner. I was always swayed by those that said nothing shifted like a Shimano and I had been satisfied with them until just recently. Shimano's lack of 9 speed variety at a reasonable price made me look elsewhere. This thing shifts like a dream. Solid and quiet. It does not shift smooth as Shimano but now I realize that's not the only thing. This thing shifts solidly under the hardest conditions I can muster, smooth vs. solid I guess. It's as light as the compatible shimano enen though it's not really a fair comaparison, IMO the SRAM is much closer in quality and performance to the HG80 which costs more than double.

I bought this cassette as a replacement to gear up my Trek hybrid. I wish SRAM had a standard cassette 11 - 30, but they don't. The original PG cassette that came with the bike went up to 26, as did the lowest chainring. So I was pulling 1:1 up hills... not a big deal on a bike as light as this one but still, I'm not getting any younger. Now I have at least a "2 tooth" differential that helps a little bit. Since I replaced one PG cassette with a slightly larger PG cassette there is no discernable difference in performance. Excellence, as usual. Smooth transitions between gears.Excellent product. Great price. Delivered promptly... excellent service.

This would be a 5-star review if all of the parts were there. I had to go to a bike shop and buy the missing spacer. Had I known that was going to be the case I would have just gone to the store and bought the entire thing all at once. Kinda defeats the convenience of ordering on line.FYI, if you don't have the spacer the cassette will not seat securely, the shifting will skip, and eventually the teeth will break. other than the missing part the cassette works great.

An exact OEM replacement. Took maybe 15 minutes from: wheel off - old cassette off - clean - new cassette on - wheel on - check shifting. Granted, I used to work in bike shops as a mechanic, but even the average cyclist with - this is important - the proper tools, could do this in under a half hour. I highly recommend if you're changing this you should get a new chain at the same as they tend to wear together. On a side note, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP!.

After thousands of miles I wore out the original Shimano 105 chain & rear sprocket on my bike. I replace the OEM 12-25 with this 11-28. My rear derailleur, model RD-5500, is speced for 29 / 27, capacity / max size. This 11-28 cassette makes it 30/28 which is 1 tooth over in each. The specs are conservative and this works just fine. This SRAM cassette fits perfectly, shifting is at least as good as OEM, and having a 12% lower 1st gear is nice.

SRAM makes great products and I'm liking their stuff more and more over Shimano stuff. I use their cassettes on both my mountain bikes and road bikes with nary a problem. They are less expensive than similar Shimano cassettes but shift as good or better! They work well with Shimano chains but I've switched to SRAM chains as well since they have the Power Link for easy removal for cleaning, etc.

I have an older steel bike which is a 9 speed, and this is my main training bike. This cassette is the perfect range for me because the gaps between gears are small which let's me concentrate on my cadence. I used to ride an 11-32 but the gaps were spaced too far apart on a 9 speed system for my liking. Highly recommended if you don't need a huge spread of low-high gears on your cassette.

This was my first time cycling to the point that I wore out the cassette on my bike. I didn't know where to begin or what type of cassette to buy.I bought this on a dire need basis and was pressed to replace my worn cassette. This Jawn was a very nice upgrade in quality of crafting and speed output while riding...I didn't know what a speed cassette is. Now I do and I like it alot...

I am replacing my current PG 950 11-34 with the 11-26. Have just over 5000 miles on the old cassette. I replaced it because the higher gears were showing signs of wear, and i was installing a new chain. Figured I would try a more compact teeth ratio, 11-26. No issues to report. The new cassette did not come with a lock ring, so i just reused the lockring and spacer I had already.

Been riding on this new cassette for 6 months now; love the range and performance. When I first installed, I discovered that my old chain wasn't up to the task. Once I updated that, it has worked perfectly ever since. I live in a pretty hilly area, so the range of gears on the cassette is a great feature. Much better than my old cassette and at a good price.

No problems as of yet. Installation and alignment went smoothly. No problems during my rides. Using with Shimano Ultegra 9-speed shifter that is set up for a 12-25. The 26 works. There's a tiny bit of rubbing on the front derailleur when I'm in my lowest gear, but the was the case before I installed this cassette. I'm not a very good mechanic I suppose.
