I have the more usual 5 bolt spider on my SRAM crank that doesn't need the hidden bolt arrangement. My bcd is 110mm, a good match there, so I took a chance on being able to fit this good value chain ring. In the event it fitted the existing bolt holes perfectly but the threaded stud on the hiiden bolt is too short for the normal spider mounting.The threaded stud is firmly fixed in the chainwheel and I contemplated various ways of removing it and using a normal chainring bolt arrangment. Long story short, the eventual solution was to press out the stud. I have a 1Te press that did the job easily, but a few well aimed hammer blows would achieve the same result.

My Focus Force1 came with a 42, I swapped for a 38 for our steep country. Great for me. Top speed is the weeker aspect of it but I can still pedal at 50km/hr at a cadence of 100.
