I usually use Ergon GE1 grips, but one of my mates got some of these in the large size as he's a big lad (6'7"), and I thought I'd give them a try. They are a soft rubbery / slightly squishy grip, so are great for using without gloves, and absorb vibration well.Due to the combination of flat and rounded sections they need to be carefully rotated to get the most comfortable position, and like all good components they 'disappear' when you get the position correct.

Good first impression, they fit well in their hand due to their shape and were easy to install with a bit of isopropanol as a lubricant. Just be aware that they are easily twisted during mounting, and the ends can be easily twisted slightly and shifted relative to each other (about 25 °). Had both handles had equally good contact with the handlebars they would have received 5 stars, but the right handles are slightly looser in the middle than the left.

The handles are not round! They are modeled on the human hand and different in thickness. Feels unusually at the first touch, but shortly afterwards as just right. The gum is too "sticky" to me in my bare hands without it really sticking. Top product. We recommend.

Feel very good. I find the 711 better than the 7ox. I am very satisfied with the size L. Any time
