I have suffered for years from pain caused by pressure on the pubic bones; not the sit bones - these were fine. And some skin irritation (not a rash). I read the science behind the SQlab 612 Ergowave Active Carbon Saddle which offered, they claimed, a solution by raising the rear of the saddle (where weight is taken on the sit bones) slightly above that of the middle and front of the saddle. Having tried several saddles already I was pretty skeptical but, after about a dozen rides of between 4 and 7 hours I have experienced no discomfort in the pubic bones and no skin irritation. In fact I have experienced no rear end discomfort whatsoever (words I never thought I would write).
