This pottery wheel is great fun. I was sceptical when I purchased it but me and my daughter had great fun making a cup cake pencil holder followed by a money box. Yes it is messy as expected but was fun mess. The wheel spins at the right speed and allows you to shape the clay as needed. We soon. Realised that water is the key, the instructions say add 10/12 sprays of water but we added more as it was needed. The instructions are clear and simple to follow and utensils that come with it are good. Would recommend.

This was a birthday present for my 9yr old who had seen the ads and really wanted it.She was very excited to receive it and hasn't been disappointed. I bought an add on kit as well and she's done that as well. I have since purchased another add on kit which is yet to arrive. I would recommend!+ Clay, Tools and Paint are good quality.-Needs 3-4 C Batteries . Paint brushes are rubbish. Was given a different add on kit to what was ordered but it didn't matter to child

Wow! Grandaughter used this Saturday, according to her "it's the best fun EVER granny" she made the most beautiful wonky pot in the world and covered the sitting room in clay. Granny thinks it's the best fun ever too. We used scola air-dry clay and didn't use the mould thing this time as we wanted to make a special gift for grandads birthday. 4 c size duracell batteries and a grapefruit sized piece of clay. The motor was strong enough to turn it.

Purchased for 4 year old.Comes with clay discs and also the moulds, spray bottle and metallic paints.Very very easy to setup and use. You can make great designs and be creative too. We have made a iPhone holder, small turtle, flower hat.The paint is excellent, very high quality and a small amount goes a long way. For the price, it is a bargain and great birthday present to give.

It was purchased for my granddaughter who was thrilled when she opened the parcel. As yet she hasn't made anything with it as she had so many other presents to play with, but very soon I am expecting her to give me a pot she has made. I feel it was worth the money. I had no problem collecting it from the store.

My 8 year old daughter received this for Christmas and has played with it every day since.We now have several creative pots around the house.The downside is that we have to keep buying replacement clay, but this is worth it for the hours of fun and therefore peace & quiet it has bought us

My granddaughter had asked for this for her birthday, we managed to get it for her for Christmas.She loves it. She likes to be creative in her play and this certainly helps her be that.The toy is robust and will withstand very young children playing with it.I'd recommend this to all.

I bought 2 of these for my 2 granddaughters aged 7 & 8. They simply love it. It comes with quite a good size piece of clay and they made a few items. I have since bought more clay ( which is not expensive) for them to make Grandma a beautiful pot for her jewellery. Well worth the money.

Bought this for a Christmas gift so can't comment on the contents but having read other people's reviews I think it's a good buy. Looks interesting and occupiable for the nine year ld I have bought it for. I did buy extra clay from the website as Argos didn't have the extra packs.

An xmas gift for my daughter. Creative and fun but my daughter does need help to start it off, putting the clay on the wheel and getting the initial shape. Like that you can get extra clay discs. When the wheel is on it can be a little noisy but generally a great item!

This is a cute and creative toy that my 9yr old loves. She’s already made me a beautiful jewellery pot and has spent hours trying to make it just right. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend if their children are creative and interested in pottery.

Lovely little toy - it's just a shame that it is so obviously aimed at girls. I got it for my nephew and thank goodness he didn't give a hoot but I imagine lots of little boys wouldn't be too keen on the colour scheme or the fact that it's only girls on the box.

Bought as a gift for my neice. Something she had wished for and was well received. Came with a pottery table, 3 small bags of clay, tools for sculpting and paint for decorating her creations. Great value for money and nice starting kit for pottery beginners.

Good quality toy, 8 year old daughter loves it, but does require some patience. The pre-rolled clay does make it quite easy to use and means it is fairly mess free. Her first "pot" took 2 days to dry out and needed 2 coats of the paint for a nice finish.

My daughter has enjoyed this, although I feel the spare packs of clay are pretty expensive really so I've purchased a large bag of airdry clay and we roll it out to the shape and size of the clay that was sent with the pack... much cheaper!
