This was a gift for our 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. She has even made a video on her YouTube channel about it.Even after a few months of play she is still playing with it and I really think it will end up being one of those items she keeps for years.There are so many possibilities for play, whether its just playing with it as a remote control, or using one of the coding programs which have been added by others or even creating your own coding.It has colours, music and can move at quite a speed if you want it to.It has always linked to our old Ipad with no problems at all. But, we do sometimes have issues when linking it to my daughters android phone,

These are great fun to develop your child's programming skills. I have used them with pupils to play golf and develop basic scratch type programming skills. You have a physical robot following their program within seconds of openning the box and connecting to a networked Ipad/Android, or folowing their finger controls as they drive the Sphero. The Bolt has the addition of the LED matrix enabling more interaction options. Have fun.

We tried spheros at a coding fair and my girls loved them so bought for Christmas. Bought at reduced price which is fantastic for the product that it is. Well worth the money to learn coding and lots of fun. Highly recommend.
