Really pleased with this case. It comes as two separate pieces, a base that fits underneath the MacBook and a lid that clips to the top. It's relatively straightforward to attach both pieces and they aligned nicely, it's a very good snug fit, yet I never felt worried it would scratch the laptop while I fitted it. There are vents on the bottom to allow heat to escape and cutouts along the sides so the ports are always accessible. It's made for, and fits, a June 2012 MacBook Pro 13".The case may well show the odd scratch as it ages, but better a scratched case than a scratched MacBook...The big side benefit for me is I no longer feel the need to put the MacBook on a book or similar while using

Great protective case, it keeps my Macbook safe, without ruining the look or feel of it, or adding to much weight to it. Unfortunately within an hour of putting the case on, I crashed my mini helicopter into it, scratching it up (yes, I am an adult!) This oddly made me love it even more as it genuinely saved my Macbook from certain destruction (or rather, damage)!A year on and I still have the same case on my Macbook, its worse for wear, but when I take it off the Macbook is like new still, so its a valiant protector and one in which I would not hesitate to buy again should I ever be so stupid to fly my mini helicopter inside the house again, let alone near my Macbook!

This is one thing I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to protect their expensive laptop!I spent £2,400.00 on my Macbook Pro and its additional bits and pieces. I have had it for 4 weeks and this reasonably priced cover MOST DEFINITELY PROTECTS MY LAPTOP! Just had a situation where I stupidly left the laptop exposed sitting on a chair and the dogs must have tried to jump up onto the windowsill because when I came back it was scratched from their claws. Off course it is not great that it now has scratches however I am very very relieved that my actual laptop was not scratched. Phew!

Bought this case after previously purchasing a cheaper copy on ebay. The copy cracked within a week so purchased this for £20. 3 months later still going strong and protecting my macbook through everyday use.Update: I have now had this product for 2 years and 1 month. There are surface scratches on the top of the device however they are not noticeable. Not a mark on the macbook and it had been dropped at least twice in this period. The case is still in tact with no cracks or chips. Still really pleased with my purchase.

The laptop is fantastic. Basically a game changer. I have a nice windows laptop, but this thing is so functional, small and neat, it makes life so easy. It's as fast as any other machine I use regularly (windows laptop at home, iMac at work) despite being so physically small.Loses a star because it took a month to arrive. I know, it doesn't promise overnight delivery or anything. But a month is a long time to be sat on the edge of your seat? I would have rather had the option of paying money for a faster service.

So I had originally the satin finish black version of this and although it lasted ages it finally gave up! So I thought buy the same but then decided on this because of clear/see thru design.Although the build quality is excellent I can see the little clips that hold it on could easily brake. The finish is excellent. Please not that this does add a bit of weight to the MacBook. But at least this will get scratched and the MacBook won't. All in all a decent product decently priced to protect your macbook

This case is absolutely perfect for the mac book pro! It seems to be pretty durable and it protects the mac from scratches and dirt, although it is advised to clean it once a month to maintain its shiny texture. It fits perfectly and I love the fact that it's clear. It is a bit more plastic like than I expected, I thought it would be slightly less flexible but since it does the job, it's fine with me! I definitely recommend this product if you love your mac!

You get what you pay for, not cheap but highest quality.Beautiful crystal clear protection, slim, and absolutely perfect fit.No chance of it coming of in a hurry.Because it's such a perfect fit, do make 100% sure everything is aligned correctly before you finally snap it onto the MacBook: its quite difficult to remove (being such a snug fit) and you need to be patient and careful in removal.Its worth going onto YouTube to see the official demos.

I have never been let down by Speck, the quality is always outstanding, and LASTS!I have bought a couple in the past just because of colour changes and not because of them breaking, I would highly recommend any speck products, as you are guaranteed quality,They are as always slightly more expensive than cheaper "Unknown" brands, but if you are protecting a mac book, I think it's worth splashing out a bit to keep it nice

The Incase covers looked great, but the little clips to hold the cover onto the top half of the Macbook kept breaking off. The design of the Speck cover is better as it has 6 clips instead of 4.It's a shame that the high-gloss cover only comes in such a limited range of colours and gets scratched so easily, I would like to see some more exciting colours and something in a matt finish.

Fits nice and securely to the latest non retina MacBook Pro (MacBook bought from apple September 2013) Had it on and off a couple of time and the case seems to have left no visible marks/scratches etc on the MacBook it's self. Definitely feel more confident taking this out and about.I believe it's the same one for sale on the Apple Store Website (£49) so it's a bargain at £19.99

This clips exactly onto the front and rear of my 2010 MacBook Pro. In view of the initial investment I thought it essential to protect the laptop from scratches and scuffs, and this should do the job perfectly. A bit of a fiddle to get it off, be careful or you may well break a nail. Sooner that than scratching this expensive and high end laptop.

The case itself is very satisfying. For everyday use, I would suggest it without a doubt.Considering the price, I would say that it is a little bit "salty". It's rather expensive, yet it should offer adequate protection to you Macbook Pro.Last, it combines great looks without obstructing the ventilation of the laptop.A 4/5 from me.

This does just what I wanted it to which is to protect my MAc without looking overtly bulky. I had a cheaper version before this which felt and looked like an add-on and cracked. This version feels much more robust and fits Mac snuggly. Adds a little bulk and is a bit tighter to fit into case but ok. Would buy it again.

Unobtrusive and protects well. This is my second one of these and when you see the damage done to my previous Speck case it makes you realise what would have happened to the Macbook had I not had the protection of this cover. My old cover was not functionally impaired I just bought a new one for cosmetic reasons.
