I primarily use this ball on a concrete court in the local park. The bounce is outstanding once it is pumped up firmly. It isn't uncommon for it bounce more than 6 feet in the air after missing a long range shot.The quality is great. People sometimes shoot beer bottles through our hoop. I have on several occasions picked glass out of this ball, but it has not gone flat.The grip is fine once it is broken in. It felt a little slick when it was new, but now it is normal.About the sizing:7: Men6: Women5: ChildrenArrives completely deflated. No inflation needle included.Spalding make basketballs for the NBA so it is a good brand though the official NBA ball costs quite a lot more!Label on the ball says made in China.But I think that this is a really nice ball for the price.

When I was a lad you just got a standard football and over inflated it to play basketball (until I joined the school team when we got proper ones....like the Harlem Globetrotters used to use). Nowadays, kids just want to use the proper equipment ;-)Is an excellent ball and appears to stand up to heavy use (my son plays in a local team and this ball gets used a lot both outside and on court). He is very happy with it and claims it has helped with his 3 point average but not sure this is a guarantee Spalding offer.There are more expensive balls out there but Spalding does appear to be the favoured make so am confident this will last him well.

Very happy with this ball. Feels "proper". I've played mostly on a tarmac outside court, and it feels pretty good. I played much less on a proper inside court, and I was still very happy. It is still early days, but so far it is living up the "all surface" label. The key question of durability can only be answered in time, but so far it feels like it might last a while. But take good care of it, if like me you play outside, clean it well after any time you play.

Very nice ball. I would recommend this ball for an affordable leather ball to practice with. The ball is very smooth and has good grip, the ball is even grippyer when a bit of moisture is added. There area few disadvantages to this ball such as the quick discolouration, I have been using it for about 2 weeks and apart from that it’s been holding up very well.

Previously bought a cheaper ball from an unknown name company, so after being unsatisfied with that, had to buy a Spalding. This is an all surface ball that I use outdoors, and it feels so nice to handle, the grip is amazing and the weight of the ball is great too. A nice even bounce as well. Worth the money for sure.

Product was great, but I have to say that it took 2 goes to actually get what I'd ordered. I had ordered 6 size 5 balls but what I got was a mix of size 5, 6 and 7. It was quickly rectified though so all fine in the end.

I only play with this outside but it's holding up well so far. Once the slipperiness goes it's very grippy. I'm glad I paid a bit extra for a composite ball instead of plain rubber.

Ball unbeatable in quality price. Good boat, good grip and touch, wonderful. It is worth its price in gold. The best basketball, without spending twice or triple.

I bought the size 7 ball for my 11 year old son. It is good quality but slightly too big for my son's hands so would have gone for a smaller size if I'd known.

Great mid/range Basketball. Perfect if you are starting to play Basketball. Very good bounce and grip and the ball is made with really good composite leather.

This Spalding basketball has amazing grip and has an excellent bounce which is so beneficial for playing with. The quality of the lever is outstanding.

Just the ball for inside plays! Very durable, excellent feel and not losing as much air as I would expected from use! Not using it everyday though!

One of the best balls for quality / price. One of the issues that we were concerned about was the grip but the truth is that it is very good.

I bought this ball three days ago for my daughter who has basketball practice. The coach said that it is a good quality one. So far so good!
