Ive decided i will just give you the facts and figures and give a small overview but you can make your mind up!Pros-1. Small/Light2. Easy to use3. Really Good Zoom!4. Excellent Battery Life and just plug in to charge (No fiddling about with batteries)5. Good light on the front of camera6. Good quality sound produced7. Manual and Auto focus8. CHEAP!Cons-1. Manual lens cover is a bit annoying... but manageable2. Not very good image quality in low lighting but for the price you're paying!OVERALL.... a well worth it product for a first time video camera owner. But if you are looking for those pristine shots and crystal sound quality i would advise spending another £50 on a HD sony camcorder because in my opinion they are the best!

Sony DCRSX15EB Handycam Camcorder - Black (50x Optical Zoom, 0.8 MP, 2.7 inch LCD)I bought this having used a video camera with film for years. The built in hard drive is great. The camera is easy to use and when downloaded, the videos can be edited using my existing software - for me a big plus factor. Downloading onto the computer is a breeze. The only slight niggle is it is less easy to use the play option to view what I have shot than my old camera. Pleased with the purchase and the price

I bought this camcorder as I was on a tight budget but it IS NOT A BUDGET CAMERAfantastic stills super video and very easy to use (and I'm rubbish with gadgets being over 55 yrs old )the cam feels solid in your hand, but light enough to manover easily,the controls are simple and the screen bright and easy to see.All in all I have used this camera for 4 months now and truly can't fault it even the battery life is far better than most others I've tried giving 2+hrs recording time no problem.

After much research for an inexpensive Camcorder the Sony DCR SX 15 came out as a good buy.And so it was, ease of use and quality of build plus picture capture it's great.A good buy, Very please.

Good price, good delivery, nice small camera, great zoom, easy to stick on PC. 5th star missed because steady shot not as effective as I have seen in others...

Very Happy with it. Great value for what you pay for and perfect for shooting home video. It is also very small and easy to carry around.
