This is my third and best sleeping bag I’ve tried in the last seven months, the other two were down (one was Hyke and byke- just poorly made and the other was Patagonia which was good until I used it for weeks in the wet Scottish summer and it couldn’t dry out and the down clumped together).So I have used the SF2 continuously since it arrived (maybe 5+ weeks) and it is superb. It copes with the near continuous wet summer (now camping on Shetland), is perfectly comfortably warm without being too warm, it’s roomy (I’m 185cm long), the zip is good.I use it in conjunction with a sea to summit sleeping bag liner. It could be a little smaller when bagged up but I’m prepared to accept that for a great quality bag at a good price,

The look, feel and performance met all my expectations.My only negative criticism is that it doesnt pack down to the size i wanted.When compressed and packed it fills around a third of my 75 Ltr Lowe Alpine.I strongly recommend practice time to compress into its stuff sack before use. It needs to be folded correctly length ways to optimise the roll and compress and you WILL need to lean heavily into it whilst compressing, else trust me, it'll only partially fit its stuff sack. It does fit though!

If you require a winter bag that can take any punishment and still keep you warm this is it! I've had this bag now for the best part of two winters in the highlands its had wet snow and had a few bashes under the tarp and it just shrugs them of,at 1.8kg its a middle weight range bag but better that than waking at 2 in the morn frozen solid,well worth the money best bag in my mind for the cold hills.Centre zip helps no end far better than them side zip bags.

Used this once and it does exactly what I expected. Quality feel and a really warm bag! didn't need any additional clothing in cold weather and packs down to a very small size. It's eliminated the need for heavy luggage on fishing trips to keep warm and completely out classes any of the branded fishing bags I've used before. Excellent product very happy with it ?
