I was rather sceptical buying a hollofibre duvet as I have always used a down & feather duvet. However, I was pleasantly surprised. After months of comparisons and searching I decided to buy this. I have only used the summer 4.5 tog duvet since I bought it in May. The material is smooth and soft. The duvet is very light and there is no ruffling sound as you get with down & feather. It wraps around like a normal blanket would. It is perhaps a little on the warm side for a summer duvet but maybe it's just me as I do get hot easily. There are buttons on all four sides of both duvets so it can be attached together during winter months.

I have always bought feather and down quilts as the early man made fibre ones were not very good (long ago as I am an OAP). However I decided to take a chance with this one as you have 3 possible quilts with different ratings.The quilts appear well made, however I would have preferred more than 1 press stud at each corner to hold the 2 quilts together. It made putting the quilt cover on more difficult than it should be. I have put more on myself which has improved the situation.Using the 9.5 tog on its own, it did not feel sufficiently heavy to mould around the body, although it was nice and warm. However I like to feel cocooned in my quilt. When you fasten the 2 quilts together it makes a great deal of difference.

We’re both pretty chilly morsels, so come time to replace the duvet a high scale winter tog is important. I liked that this is two separate duvets poppered together to achieve the winter weight ... basically two new duvets ... offering three different tog options. In use it’s light and airy but very cosy, so no complaints. It’s a helluva of a performance to change the cover though, such that it really is a two person job, because grappling with this monster is no joke (we have super king size)! Only 4* because, as other reviewers have observed, this is an article that really would benefit from more poppers. It has one popper in each corner and a few more,

Ordered for my daughter as her old 13tog goose down duvet was no longer keeping her warm. Lost one point due to excessive delivery time. For supposed UK based supplier it took a week to arrive and no tracking info was supplied, everything else ordered on the same day arrived within 24hrs to 72hrs.As advertised, It is light and very warm. We have only had it half a week but quality seems very good. Packing could have been better. It was in the manufactures flimsy single layer plastic sack, covered with another all be it slightly more substantial single layer bag. Of course even if they had used a double skin other plastic sack it still can rip and expose the duvet to dirt or moisture,

It's great having 2 duvets to create 3 choices. The light duvet of 4.5 tog is perfect for summer, the 10.5 tog for Spring and Autumn, and then you use the 4 poppers in each corner to join the two together to make up a 15 tog winter duvet. The summer one is lovely and light and I haven't yet tried the heavier one or the two together but am sure that they will be cosy and warm. I have always had a feather duvet until I found out that feathers are plucked from live animals, so from an ethical point of view, the hollow fibre duvets are also a bonus. There are a few stitchings to keep the contents from moving around and bunching up, but this combo duvet is quite a lot cheaper than others I looked at,

So this is like having three duvets, lightweight for Summer, midweight for Spring and Autumn, then you can clip them both together to give you an incredibly warm snuggly one for Winter. I am using it in it's Winter mode at the moment as a replacement for my 13.5 Tog duck down duvet and it blows it out of the water as it's lighter, warmer, fluffier and it was a fraction of the cost. I read all the low scoring reviews but it seems you just can't please some people. The price was so reasonable it made it easy to give it a go and I am really glad I did. I've had it for nearly two months now so I haven't been quick to judge.What's the greatest test of a duvet? Does it keep you warm when it's cold?

I have had the product a few months now and been able to try the duvet in all its possibilities. It's great at keeping you warm and is very comfortable. But where the product fails is when you put the two duvets together. There are far too few poppers. Only having the poppers in the corners means that because of the size of the duvets the two have a tendency to part while you sleep. So you finish up with uneven heat across the whole duvet. If just two more poppers were added on each edge the product would be perfect. Would I buy again? probably not unless extra poppers were added I would probably get three duvets; one for summer, one for spring/autumn and one for winter.

I have used the Duvet once as the 15 Tog set-up. I left my bedroom window open to try to keep the room as cool as possible, ( I am going Camping soon so wanted to see how it can perform on cold nights) the duvet isnt heavy but obviously you know its on you. It kept me warm as toast. If you live in a warm house its probably to much at 15 tog version. But hey you can have it as 4.5, 10.5 or 15 so its very flexible. It feels Quality. All in all i am very happy and think its well worth the 27/28 pounds i paid for it in the King Size version delivered next day. I would say 9/10 because nothings Perfect.............. Except my wife... rofl ...... she told me to say that..

After having bought a cheaper alternative & found it to be awfully uncomfortable, I decided to get a brand name & this one was on offer. So glad I did, the quality & comfort of this duvet is far superior & lovely to use. The thinner 4.5Tog is cool enough for summer but still warm enough for this time of year in December & can see when using the 2 parts of the duvet when it gets extremely cold will just make getting up in the cold mornings all the harder to do.Update, 2yrs on. Still using them, still feel like new & lovely to use. Not had to use them together as yet as the 10.5 Tog is plenty warm enough on the coldest days so far.

This was brought for my daughter. I was a bit worried at first because some of the reviews mentioned poor stitching etc. However, my daughter is very happy with the Quilt. She tells me she has never had a better nights sleep, she is over the moon with this. She is on lockdown, like many people, and because of her MS tends to feel more comfortable laying down rather than sitting. So she now spends longer in bed than she has for the past 20 years as the quilt is a good balance between warmth and weight. Hopefully, the need will not arise for some time, but she tells me she would buy the same again if need be.

I bought this duvet back in June but left it till now to review as I wanted to see how it fared during cold nights - it hasn’t disappointed! I live in an extremely old and freezing cold house and had to leave my electric blanket on all night to keep warm with my previous duvet but since having this one I can switch the electric blanket off when I get into bed and I’m warm and snug all night :)My only gripe is that my cat was sick on it a couple of weeks after buying it and it won’t fit in my washing machine but that’s not the sellers fault! Pets, who’d have ‘em?!

So far I love this duvet for comfort. For the last 3 yrs + I've not had a full comfortable nights sleep due to overheating!I would wake up several times during sleep to take covers off - because of overheating & sweating - then wake up again to put them back on because of coldness. Needless to say my sleep pattern was badly disturbed.I have had the best night's sleep since purchasing this duvet - I sleep all the way through till morning! I only need to use the 4.5 tog one so far. It's the perfect temperature for me, and lovely & soft. Highly recommended.

Great duvet, but one of the corner poppers that hold the two parts together was split and didn’t work.I informed Amazon, but they only suggested returning the duvet and ordering another (the price has now increased). The popper looks very flimsy and I wouldn’t be surprised if the others break the next time I part the two duvets. A stronger set of poppers would have cured the problem and I could have fitted them myself, as it is, I’ve had to use a safety pin!Not sure what to do with the duvet now? Send it back and look around for another at this price?

Absolutely brilliant duvet. Really comfortable and very good quality. Exactly as described. I bought one single for my son and a king size for myself. We all had exceptionally nice sleep !!! In fact if my son said is his best duvet, considering that he never kept the duvet on during the night and now is all wrapped up right up to his neck during the entire night ... I think this explains everything about the softness and great quality of the duvet. Couldn’t be more happier and pleased with my purchase.Really good service too, so a big thank you

I love this duvet! Have been using for around 3 months now and it is still gorgeously puffy and light and super warm for cold nights. To give you an idea of heat retention...I use a hot water bottle on my back at night and with this duvet, it's still warm in the morning. Amazing! Probably will need to change it for summer because it really does keep you warm, but it has definitely made a big difference over the winter. Recommend if you are someone who feels the cold and likes the comforting feeling of being wrapped up in a big puffy duvet!
