This is an initial review. I hope to update once I have been using them for a few weeks. Right now though, all I wanted to say was that I've been blown away by the sound these headphones kick out. Especially the bass. I've only played three songs via my Tomtom Spark Music sports watch, but it played them without a hitch and sounded great.UPDATE March 2017Five months on and I'm still enjoying these headphones. They haven't had an easy life. I use them almost exclusively while out running and in tandem with my Tomtom Spark sports watch. Running 5 or 6 times a week over a period of 5 months has been a good test for them and they've come through it with flying colours.Prior to these I'd had three other pairs of bluetooth headphones, one I lost but the other two just failed. I've had no such problem with the Skullcandys. The neckband design probably isn't ideal for running as it bounces too much and becomes irritating. I got around this by tucking one end of the band into my shirt and that stopped the bouncing. I've had no issues with the buds falling out. Making sure you have the biggest buds your ears can accommodate no doubt helps with this. It also helps with the sound, particularly the bass, where a snug fit it essential. And this is where these phones have impressed me most. The bass is exceptional. Powerful without being overpowering. Moreover there is a balance across the frequencies which is a pleasure to experience and which blew me away when I the set first arrived. Nothing I had had prior to these had sounded so good. Sonically there is much to like here and they easily compete with headphones costing a lot more. Finally I noticed a couple of people complaining that they had issues with the sound occasionally cutting out due to bluetooth connection issues. Up to this point all my experience had been running with a wrist worn bluetooth watch. I decided that before updating this review I needed to check out the problem so I donned my coat, put my watch in my pocket and went for a walk. I've only done this once, but I can tell you that there was no problem. In fact during this whole five month period I have only very rarely suffered any connection issues and they usually resolved themselves very quickly. All in all I have been very impressed with these headphones. I'm just about to go out on another run with them now.UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2017Final update. The first set finally gave up the ghost after being with me on many many runs. Skullcandy were kind enough to give me a replacement set, but that only lasted a month before it too stopped charging. I was going to mark them down for this until I found that the Ink'ds are guaranteed to be sweat proof and I couldn't rule out that this was causing the problem. In the light of this my rating stays at 5 and I've bought myself some Methods instead. They are designed more for sport but to be honest they don't sound as good.

Got these from Maplins but I'd like to review them here as it's rare to have honest reviews on this website. Note, I am mostly a budget earphone user, I have a good pair of headphones that I use at home but outside of that I've mostly used stuff in the cheaper range. So some good points; They're loud, I can confidently say they're louder than any earphones/headphones I've ever owned, even my high end headphones, though at really high volumes you do get a little bit of distortion.. As for the playback quality, it's pretty decent. For the price I'd say it's about as good as you can expect, don't expect these to sound as good as some £100+ audiophile headphones because they don't,but they don't sound bad either. It's got really strong bass, and decent highs but you do get a "flat" sound that you otherwise don't get on high end headphones. It's surprisingly comfortable and stays in my ear perfectly, really a winner in this regard but then again I guess it depends on your ear type. I had a couple other people test it and they all said the same thing though, make of that what you will. The connectivity is good most of the time but it does lose connection for a couple seconds ocassionally, it's not that often and it's not really a big deal but it is something to be aware of, but this minor inconvenience is so worth putting up with over the major inconvenience that is the headphone wire.I've not really tested the battery life or their durability, so I may update this review when I have more info on this.

These arrived before I'd even pressed Enter!! Speedy delivery and product is perfect. I love burpees and get fed up of ear buds always popping out mid jump . These are perfect if your workout is pretty active (plyometrics, jogging skipping etc !!) The clarity is on point and I had no problems pairing the phone with my Samsing Galaxy. Blue tooth can get a bit choppy if you stray too far but its to be expected for the price!! A great purchase.

V happy with them. Came promptly. Comfortable to wear. Sound quality is impressive for small ear phones.Elsewhere, it sounds weird but u can't feel band round your neck wen using them. Haventry tried jogging with them on yet. Mainly coz I've been too lazy but these will be used for this at some point! For the price they represent excellent value for money. Would recommend these to anyone.

These are a good pair of headphones for the price. The sound quality is not up to Sennheiser standards, but it's good and bassy (generally what lacks in cheap headphones). The Bluetooth occasionally breaks up, as with all of these things, but equally it can stretch surprisingly far - I have no problem leaving my phone and moving around the room or even between rooms, if it's not too far.

Fantastic headphones. Bought for the gym after getting sick of over the ear Bluetooth types and wired is super inconvenient. These are great they block out background noise, they're so much louder than most earphones and the battery is the best I've experienced from wireless. Value for money is spot on!

This is the second pair of these I have bought (this time for a birthday gift) and I love them. They are comfy and great to use in the gym, regardless of what activity or exercise I am doing. Would definitely recommend these to all my family and friends.

Fast delivery, item was as described with excellent sound quality and as yet no drop out of connection. The only negative is the wires to the earbuds are quite flimsy so would have been better if it came with a storage bag

Great for rock climbing, exercising and running in. However need charging every 2 days but doesn’t take long to charge up, also if you’re in a city or library with lots of Bluetooth devices this will affect connectivity.

A little difficult to use when walking as they are quite sensitive to other sounds (hair, cars, wind) but great for talking on the phone when walking round the house and listening to music/shows. I highly recommend!

just connected my headphones. So easy to set up. Sound quality is good, but with big buttons, so your not fiddling around looking for volume buttons etc. The ear pieces fit so well. Really good value for the price

Believe it or not I sold an expensive brand name set of buds because I didn’t believe the sound quality was as good as these. The depth of bass tones is amazing. They’re brilliant whether you like Muse or Mozart.

I had been looking around for wireless earbuds for a while but many were expensive (~£100) but then I asked a friend who recommended these. Really good for the price. Great sound quality and noise cancellation.

14.1.2018

High quality sound and good build for the price. Cheap, but they sound good and have lasted well. Performance is better with some phones than with others - with my Pixel 2 they've been awesome!

Use these daily for commuting and walking. The sound quality is great for wireless buds and the battery life is good, only need to charge every 3ish days on a 30-40mins commute.
