This review is for Skechers Men's Torque Twist Waterproof Golf Shoe. I play 100+ rounds of golf per year, so I really depend on good golf accessories that are comfortable during a round and performs well. These golf shoes hit the mark on comfort, performance, and even style! The shoes look great with the cool gray tone and the neon green accents. The cushion in the soles is very comfortable, and the bottom grips the ground well during the golf shots. The low profile cleats makes you feel a bit more grounded during a gold swing, but then walks more like a tennis shoe on the putting surface. Best of both worlds.The exterior repeals water,which is important in keeping your feet dry when there is dew on the ground in the early mornings or after a brief rain shower on the course. I was skeptical at first about the Torque Twist method of tightening the shoes, wondering if they would really hold tight during my golf swing. I’m no longer a skeptic. It works really well. And the great thing is after the round is over, a simple quarter turn to the left of the Torque knob loosens the shoe completely, enabling me to slip them off easily like sandals.I typically wear a 10 wide in shoes, but I tried the 10 regular since I liked the look of this shoe so much and it was all that was available at the time. It fit snug without being too tight on the sides. The shoe does narrow somewhat toward the toe end, so I think a 10.5 regular would have been perfect for me, even though the size I am using actually does stay comfortable the entire round.It’s a good looking comfortable golf shoe that performs very well on the course. I would get these again, no question.

I have to say I was skeptical about the design with this dial versus traditional laces. But overall I'm very happy with these shoes. I normally wear US 10.5 shoes but my last few pairs of gold shoes were US 10 so I stuck with that here and feel fine with the fit.I've primarily used other waterproof shoes from Nike and Footjoy with success but as the shoes ages, perhaps within 3+ years the waterproofing my become compromised so I was due for a new pair and figured I've give these Sketchers a try. So far I'm pretty happy being a few 9-hole rounds of golf in (walking). The foam they use is very comfortable but took me a moment to get used to that padded feel. While I haven't tried walking in puddles or very dewy grass yet,I feel confident in the waterproofing.For the price I say these are pretty nice but didn't blow my mind. The design is cool and so far they've stayed clean whereas I've had light colored golf shoes quickly stain even if waterproof. I think if you're looking for value then there might be some more affordable options out there which give you waterproof capability also. I feel like at times they run a tad hot and have to think it's this shoe and not me. It was nothing drawing much attention but after walking 9 holes several times on 80F + days in the sun, I feel more relieved when I take these off than with my old shoes and think they just trap a little more heat.All in all they are good shoes for the price and the design is cool and functions without an issue. Turn the dial clockwise to tighten the laces and adjust but then turn about 1/2 a circle counterclockwise to release the lacing and your feet slide right out!.

Size:10 MFit:I chose these for review for my nephew. He's a size 10.5 in most shoes, but a 10 in golf shoes. These fit him very well. The fit seems to be just slightly on the wider side of medium width.Traction:Traction is very good. We've golfed twice in the rain and I haven't noticed him slip even one time.Comfort:He mentioned they're very comfortable, with almost too much padding.Twist fit:BOA fit is pretty much all my nephew and I use. These are designed very well. However, the lacing system and the tongue of the shoe combine to make a squeaking sound when the shoes are wet. This isn't a deal breaker, but it's something that could have easily been fixed.Also, yes, the top cap did pop off once on the BOA twist,but we figured out it was entirely due to over-tightening. He simply popped it back on, dialed it back slightly and has never had an issue again.Water resistance:He noted his feet stayed dry both times we've golfed in the rain. So, no worries there.Overall:My nephew loves these because they're more casual. He's the type of golfer who tends to dress down a bit. Golf shoes like these look much better with casual clothing.From my perspective, I think they're great casual golf shoes, but I think they should have put more effort into the tongue/lacing to avoid squeaking.Recommended4 starsCheers!

My husband ran over this foot while trying to get out of his golf cart. I have no idea how that happens, exactly. I suspect there were beverages involved. Anyway, the wheel crushed the back heel of his golf shoe and that thing was a goner. So, I picked up a pair of these Sketchers for him. I wasn’t sure how he’d feel about the “lace” system, but I figured he’s not that picky and will pretty much wear whatever I purchase.He’s worn these for 5 rounds of golf in the past few weeks (yeah, he golfs a bit) and he REALLY likes them. He also gets asked a lot of questions about them by all the guys at the club, apparently (who knew men talked about shoes...lol). Everyone wants to see how the lacing system works and of course,he shows them. But the thing he loves about them is the insole. He swears they’re the most comfortable golf shoes he’s ever had. He can’t believe how well they grip on his tee shots. He’s about a 6 handicap and he's been golfing since metal spikes were a thing. He’s complained constantly ever since things changed to soft spikes that they just don’t grip as well. I think the lacing system and how this stabilizes the foot is actually responsible for that feeling. Either way, these are a win and he’s feeling pretty “on trend” right now with all the attention.

Fit well and are very comfortable. The “torque twist” works extremely well. My only concern is if the “wire” breaks what do you do?!?Update:My only issue with the shoes is the same thing another reviewer complained about, the "S" accent piece on the twist dial came off my right shoe sometime when I was playing and was lost. As this was unacceptable I returned the shoes to Ladies Online Golf who were so very helpful and sent out a replacement pair which I received the following day. Remarkable service.However, as they had just received a delivery direct from Sketchers, they assumed all would be correct. Not so! This time the “S” accent piece was just missing. I contacted Dan at Ladies Online Golf and explained.He was mortified and extremely displeased with Sketchers, rightly so. He immediately offered a refund or did I want to try again!As I previously mentioned, the shoes are very comfortable so I decided to try again and today I received a complete pair of golf shoes which I am very happy with.I must mention the superb customer service from Ladies Online Golf and the great lengths that Dan and Dina went to to resolve my problem. It’s not often the case nowadays, so thank you very much, and I highly recommend this company.

What did I use it for?I have been an avid golfer this summer, and I wanted to get golf shoes to improve my grip especially when driving. Unfortunately, I have not decreased my score with these shoes. I still have work to do!What do I like?I thought the twist dial lacing would be stupid and look weird, but I actually like it. The dial makes it super easy to tighten up the shoe mid-round.These are very comfortable for golf shoes. They feel as if they are already “broken in.”They have great grip with the golf spikes installedWhat I dislike?This is a small issue, but the cap on the twist dial already fell off on one of my shoes. I just need to glue it back on.Comparison to a similar product or experience?I had an old pair of Adidas golf shoes back in the day,and the sole fell off on me. This pair of Skechers is a lot more comfortable than my old pair of Adidas.Is the price justified?Overall, I am very happy with these shoes. If my opinion changes in the future, I will update this review.

I got these shoes because i saw them on a friend and liked the fact that they didn't have spikes to change out seasonally, they are very lightweight, and the tread on the bottom is very unique. They feel fine for walking, better than my old golf shoes with the removable spikes. Traction is good as well. Plus, it feels like wearing sneakers on the course. One big thing to note: I bought them in the regular version, but in my opinion they weren't all that wide. But i can wear dress socks and they fit perfectly. I'm just used to wearing thicker athletic tube socks.Overall, this is a very comfortable and high quality Golf Shoe, and I highly recommend them

Spectacular waterproof GoGolf shoes. These shoes are crazy comfortable. I have a couple of other pairs of GoGolf shoes. These by far are the most comfortable. These are the first pair of shoes I have had that has the self contained shoelace system on them. They are awesome. The location of the dial does not get in the way. It is easy to use. It does not catch your pant leg, they are great. They are definitely waterproof, I played in these this morning on a sprinkler wet golf course. My socks stayed nice and dry. These are probably the best and most comfortable golf shoes I own. You cant go wrong with these.

I bought these because I have several Sketcher shoes that are very comfortable. They did not disappoint me. The first time I wore them I forgot to take them off after my game, which has never happened before. The Torque lacing system is fantastic. Easy to do up and undo. I highly recommend these shoes.

I love my new Skechers Men's Torque Twist Waterproof Golf Shoe. Great comfort under foot and the ease of putting on and tightening to fit is great. These allow for a more relaxed walk on the course then other brands. The torque twist is simple to use.

These shoes are just like any other Skechers shoe, comfortable straight out the box.The twist button on the top is great and ensures the shoes fit snuggly.Overall I’m very impressed and shall be purchasing another pair in the future for sure.

Excellent fitting golf shoe. My only complaint is that the shoes were advertised as new, but I found grass inside the shoes upon 1st inspection. Obviously someone had worn them previously.

Early days but these golf shoes are super comfortable, and waterproof. Although it says black and white in the description, I actually ordered and received grey and lime.

The most comfortable golf shoe I have ever bought. Out of the box they are ready to wear for a full round of golf without the need of "breaking in".

Very pleased with the shoes, very comfortable from the first time using them. I like the twist lock system easy to use.
