I have the Sizzix Big Shot Plus machine and I've tried a few different compatible cutting pads over the past couple of years, but I came back to the original pads. Yes, they are more expensive but, as you'd expect, they fit better - the rounded corners mean that the pads don't get caught as do the compatibles which tend to have square corners; and the thickness means you get the perfect sandwich each time. With compatibles you need to mess about with extra shims and it can be annoying and wasteful of time and paper/card stock.I just wish they were a bit cheaper, as when you're die cutting lots of stuff they don't last as long as I'd like. But, my husband has always advocated not to buy cheap tools.

Purchased to replace worn out cutting pads on a Sissix Big Shot Plus.These pads do not last long and for what they are they are pretty expensive. As other reviewers have said, the pads bow fairly quickly even with light use. I suppose you might be able to make your own from perspex or some such material but would you really want the hassle whilst also probably invalidating any warranty on the machine.Buying these Sizzix Cutting Pads from Amazon is easy and convenient so at least there's no problem replacing them when the need arises and, going by the length of time the first set lasted, that could be quite often

Tried various ways of using them but they still warp. This is my third pair.. I am an avid crafter. Obviously can’t do anything without them, as there is no alternative. I’m using last suggested way of putting cutting plate at bottom, so far this seems to be working.

Bought these new plates as one of the ones i'm using at the moment has a crack in it, so decided to buy new ones before it cracked in two altogether leaving me with no plates...Thanks for the good service.

So important when you have a big die to cut the entire design all at once. I just wish the plastic was more durable and lasted longer before scratches started to damage my card

A friend advised me to ONLY use genuine Sizzix plates, as she bought a cheaper version and they mark and bend immediately, so actually work out more! Im hoping these last.

These are the correct plates for Sizzix A4 and work well. However, I do get through these quite quickly as they’re rather big to try and flatten out from constant use

Replacement extended cutting plates, great. I needed them in a hurry as I had ruined my plates cutting out a shed load of gift boxes this Christmas.

Perfect replacement for my original pads. They have started bowing already - after only a few uses - but it's to be expected with how big they are.

I would say these replacement plates are better and stronger than the ones I originally got when buying the Bigshot Plus.

Useful to have extra set of cutting pads to protect paper/card from the well used pads using for extensive die cutting

Great cutting pads! They're quite big so tends to warp and bend really fast, but still does the job perfectly.

Love my Sizzicx so much I wore out the plates and these were a replacement. Good quality and value for money.

Nothing to say about these except they are what you would expect as a replacement for the originals.

Had to buy these as plates don’t last in machine. I find them expensive but this price was the best
