A lot of people say that this is not as good as Crazy Taxi, but I strongly disagree. This is a great game.There are four modes. "Road Rage", "Sunday Drive", "Mission Mode" and "Head to head". The first game mode "Road Rage" is the main mode. In this mode you get to pick from one of six locations (once unlocked) and from over twenty five authentic Simpsons characters (once unlocked). Your target is to earn a million dollars from taking people to where they want to go. It takes a very long time to get this amount but you get a feeling of satisfaction when you do."Sunday drive" is just like free mode in Tony Hawks. You get to drive around your chosen location with your chosen character.Use this to learn the areas so that you can drop your passenger off quicker. You can also find out some sneaky shortcuts and where they go. (HINT: look for a dirt track leading off of the road.)"Mission mode" is a fairly tricky mode. You have to complete a task in a certain amount of time and when you complete all of the tasks you get a nice little treat. So don't give up on task 10."Head to head" is your old fashioned two player mode. You and a mate race around the same loction with different characters picking up passengers and delivering them to their destinations. But its not that simple, your mate can steal your passenger and deliver them!RATINGS:GRAPHICS: This game has fantastic graphics. All of the characters look like they are meant to and their cars are the ones that they have in the show. The environments are also extremely similar to the ones in the show. RATING:*****SOUND: All of the characters have the same voices as in the show. When you go flying over a bump your character will yell something funny and all of the way around all of the passengers speak to you and criticise your driving which is extremely funny sometimes. RATING: ****GAMEPLAY: This game runs extremely smoothly and fast. All of the cars skid around corners and you lose control in the blink of an eye. The controls are not hard at all; they're just the basic driving game controls. RATING: ****LIFESPAN: This is the main downfall of the game. Although it sounds like fun to earn a million dollars it actually gets extremely repetitive at about 800,000 dollars, but keep going it's a good feeling when you finish because you know all of your hard work has payed off. RATING: ***Overall this game is a decent game; if you're a Simpsons fan you should buy it because it's not as bad as some people say. (Also you'll know what some of the characters are talking about, if you don't watch the simpsons you probably won't find this game as funny.)

This was the first game I got for my PS2 and it is excellent. You can knock nearly everything over rather than having to drive around them which can be infurating when you are winning.The charcters are brilliantly done graphics and they are accompanied by their proper voices. This can be very annoying though after hours of hearing the same words repeated as each character only has about 3 catch phrases. One of the most annoying is Marge's "haha, another day another dollar hahahaa" ahhhhhh... ahem.I have two major complaits thought that has bought its rating down to a 4.1. It is infuriatingly slow at loading so when your time runs out you have to wait at least 1 min and econds befroe you can play again.2.The game gets very repetitive and boring once you have all the level and chrchtyers as you still have to do the same thing all the time. Pick up someone who you have picked upinfinate times before and take them to the same boring places which after a while loose their touch.The thig that I really like is that amusing things are take from real episodes of the simpsons. If you go on the sunday drive you can go around and explore the level/course.There are lots of hidden short cuts and alleyways to find and certain buildings you can drive into and destroy themthe mall and area 51a. There are lots of rampsyou can drive up and then wonderful escalator to nowhere in downtown is great fun. There really is a lot of fun thingd to find,there is a multistory car park with a ramp of the top A huge car crunching metal dinosaur, a maze and the largest toilet in the world! Exploring the levels is actually more fun than the actual game! thehing that really makes me laugh thoigh is knocking somone over i especially love puching the man dressed up as a giant beer bottle off springfield dam!!

I bought this game 4 months ago after I played it round a friends house it was good for a few days but after that it got a bit boring. I personally think that the the levels are a bit small and there are not enough of them. The missions are not very challeging and after 5 attempts at the missions you can skip the level, exept for the final mission which isn't that hard either.But there are some good things about this game like the ammount of charecters and vehicles also the multiplayer is quite good aswell. Another thing I find good about this game is the charecters voices but unfortunately it gets so repetitive for example if you are Chief Wiggum and you play a level it doesn't matter which one it is,for 10 minutes, he is likely to say the same phrase about 25 times in just that short space of time.The best part of the whole game though is the Sunday drive mode which is just cruising smashing things up and running over people.Overall a good game but could do with bigger, better and more levels. Ideal for people that watch the Simpsons on tv, people who like crazy taxi or people who fancy smashing up stuff and runnig over people.

This game does not only imitate Crazy Taxi in an even wackier way - it works better. I got this game and I just couldn't stop playing. The gameplay is excellent and the graphics are stunning but not too overdone so it is just right. Basically, in my opinion, this beats many of the best driving games i've ever seen including: Gran Turismo Series, Crazy Taxi and Colin McRae Rally series. You play, pick up passengers, take them to their destinations (some of them are very fishy eg. why would Krabappel want to go to Skinner's house), you get money, you get the chance for a bonus and also you get new cars and levels. You can also play it head to head as well.Sunday drive is great as you just get to chill and cruise through the various destinations (of course, for gameplay reasons you have to win them). Finally you get mission mode where you carry out the various wacky and curious missions including taking Homer back to work and letting Barney run over mascots. Also one other weird question remains - how can Otto renew his bus liscense by running over 20 lamps at the mall. ENJOY!

This is a great game. Sure it's just crazy taxi with a Simpsons twist (but then again, what about all the versions of footie? don't hear too many people complaining about the repetition of a game theme there).Fast and furious action with some of the smoothest and fastest graphics seen on any console but there is one HUGE drawback. Each game lasts only a couple of minutes, fine but then there is the boring, dull and pitiful wait for the disk to spin and load each new section. Even the cut scenes, menus etc all seem to have a long loading time. Why spoil a great game like this? This is the same problem as found on ISS and others and there is simply no excuse.So if you like the Simpsons,like crazy taxi style games, fast graphics - then this is for you.

In the words of "The Comic Book Store Guy" this is definetly the best racing, no, the best game EVER! I had played a demo at a friends house and thought it was a pretty damn good game, so I went online and bought it. You can play just about anyone in Springfield, from Apu to Moe, from Bart to Krusty,from Police Chief Wiggum to Snake, and the graphics ar amazing! I think anyone who gets bored with this game must have some serious medical problem! You can also go any where in the Springfield area, you can even drive INSIDE places like Mr Burns Mansion and the School. Wreck havoc (or carnige, get it?)as you knock down Wille's shack, lamp posts, trees and people. Definetly a great pasttime for anyone who ikes driving and /or The Simpsons.

A great game with over 30 hilarious simpson characters including the Simpson Family, Apu, Krusty and lots more. There are 6 worlds in which to explore Springfield such as the neucular power plant and Springfield dam. Hard to get bored of with all of the fun modes. There is your average game in which you have to collect and drop off passengers for money to win new people and worlds. Then there is the missions mode where you have to complete wacky missions (that bit is quite hard) Then there is Sunday drive where you can explore Springfield and get used to the surroundings. And finally multiplayer which is a lot of fun aswell. Also the voices are very realistic and funny.A classic must-buy car game!

I'm a major Simpsons fan and a new owner of a Playstation2! The combination of these 2 wonderful things have borought out the best Simpsons game ever! The graphics are cartoony as expected but in glorious 3D and the speed of everything is....wow!!!! The playabilty of the game is surprisingly addictive considering how simple the plot is but it takes time to save all the cash! As you go along you unlock new characters (with their own type of vehicles) and new starting locations! If you vaguely like the Simpsons this is for you, however if you a big fan of the Simpsons, this is the ultimate gaming expierence! One word to describe the game overall, FANTASTIC!!!

I remember playing this game for hours! I loved exploring Springfield and seeing iconic characters around. It was surprisingly a lot of fun being a taxi driver and trying to push the buses off course. I loved the different areas and the storytelling for kids that is available within this game. I used to pretend Marge was going shopping etc. Loved it. I always hoped they'd make another game with such a huge open world like this just with better graphics like Hit & Run.

I am a big Simpsons fan and so is my Brother so we bought this game.For those who say that it is only for Simpsons fans-you are wrong! My grandma despises Simpsons-but she likes this game! I also own GT3 and they are actually quite different so why not get both?So with the fast, destructive road rage, head to head so two can play and the quiet peaceful sunday drive-not! this game is a must for all the family.

This game is suprisingly entertaining! Drive tons of cars each with different characters, explore the whole of Springfield, which is massive, and work your way up to the top. You can do a "Sunday drive" where you just drive around picking people up and dropping them off! But it is sooo entertaining! Multiplayer games are great fun too. Thos game isn't out for much so hit the stores and get it!

I personly rate this game the best ever known. I first bought it because i liked the simpsons but then it captured me and i am now in a world of simpsons all day long! The graphics are o.k and the levels are super cool and i love some of the cars! My favourite car is the police car and my favourite level is The Springfeild Dam!

this particular Simpsons PS2 game is one I will never get bored of personally, because it takes me back to whenever I was a kid. good fun picking people up and rushing to get to the destination in time, I love a challenge and this is one of them!! no regrets buying it at all!! :)
