These were about the least expensive on the market and we are pleased with our purchase. The job of border shears is to cut edges. They are not supposed to be garden ornaments or things of great beauty. They are supposed to be functional and these shears do the job perfectly. As usual, clean before you put them away and give them a drop of lubrication every now and again. They are probably the last pair of edging shears we will ever need to buy and we have a large garden.
