I have been using sprayguns for over 38yrs for commercial paint jobs ,Trailers, tractors etc . The spraygun of choice has always been DeVilbis, they are the market leaders , but now retired I wanted a gun to spray my new wooden fence, I found this one at a "bargain " price as the job did not warrant anything special . Well was I surprised ! this little beauty is great ! all the controls are in the right places ,in fact its a clone of a DeVilbis, it works perfectly , but the best surprise was the plastic fluid cup, with a quick release threaded top and a non spill air vent ! , If this cup was marketed in a DeVilbis box as a spare part, you would not get any change from £40, so don't be put off by the price ,

I bought this gun for spray painting our numerous fence panels and thanks to finding it, narrowly avoided spending around £50 on a gun from Machine Mart! I'd seen mixed reviews for the pump up garden fence paint sprayers (sold by the fence paint suppliers) - roughly equal numbers of lovers and haters of these devices (my neighbours one dribbled paint at the fence and his wife followed behind with the brush to spread it out!) As I already had an air compressor and hose (yes you really do need these for this gun to work - lol) I decided to buy one.I have a SIP Airmate Nimbus 2.0HP Direct Drive compressor and applied both Wickes shed and fence treatment and Cuprinol Garden Shades undiluted (both are water soluble)

Had a right laugh reading the reviews, some people are just plain idiotic, for example "I bought this but they didn't tell me I needed an air compressor, rip off" pmsl, come on seriously? what did you think it was going to do without an air supply? another one " I dropped this and it broke" What the hell did you expect, you shouldn't be spraying if you can't hold the gun properly, absolutely unreal! Gun is cheap and cheerful but works well and is worth the money but no more, As for people experiencing runs, runs are the product of bad technique, improper gun settings, paint too thin, applied too thick etc, If you want a high quality professional gun you shouldn't be looking at cheap products in the first place,

Very nice for an inexpensive gun. I used it for spraying the build coats on guitars, but it has its limitations and I would not use it for a finish coat. It would be well worth buying a few guns and keeping them separate for different purposesTake care to check all seals and packing - I had a leak from the needle shaft housing near the trigger - soon sorted out with a small spanner, but it helps to be aware that this may occur.I attached a 1/4" BSP quick release airline fitting to match my current system - easy to do, but remember to tape the threads with PTFE to keep the join airtight. My only niggle is that different jet sizes do not seem to be available - I would like to be able to spray

For the price I was very sceptical of this spray gun, but after reading what others had found I thought why not there is not much to lose. I am very pleased with the results it gives, I restore vintage machinery and sprayed four large items today it performed well and gave a good nice equal coverage with a very good finish.The paint cup is of a good capacity with a screw on lid, the gun it has replaced had a push on lid which would fall off when in use spilling paint over the floor and the job I am spraying, so a screw on lid was a must, and being a gravity feed I find is easier to wash out after use.I am glad I bought this gun and did not buy a dearer gun from Machine Mart,

i purchased this product, and at first was apprehensive about how good the quality of it would be because of how cheap it was. it arrived with no delays, i used the paint sprayer and was very happy with finish that had been achieved and the functionality of the product. i have a large compressor which had no troubles providing enough pressure for the operation of the gun. i have used it several time since then. its great for spraying smaller items without too much excess paint, but still does a very good job on larger items too. its also easy to clean and maintain.i will most definitely be purchasing another one. great value for money.

Bought this a while back and could for the life of me get a regulator to fit and it doesn't have an air adjustment valve which is annoying so I bought another gun with a. Regulator and used bits from that to make it fit and other than these downfalls it is an amazing primer gun I'm an apparentice I use this gun every single day for many jobs ranging from little filler repairs to complete side outs great on bad repairs as it does chuck it out fan is decent and it's amazingly comfortable for such a cheap gun would highly recommend for primer but don't think I'd ever use it for anything else

Got this to up-cycle an old table and chairs for my dining room. 95% of time it worked great - there was a little drip out of it after a few hours use. I cleaned all the nozzles again. but the drip was persistent. It could have been the type of paint I was using. I am still unsure. It was very difficult to remove the connection piece that connects the spray gun to the compressor. They supplied 2 connections and my compressor was the connection type of the spare. it took a wee while to remove and change. the connection was very tight. Overall - for the price a great piece of Kit.

Had this for a while now, I have 3 different makes lol. I love it. Not a big fan of Silverline, believe you get what you pay for but this is an exception. Easy to use, good even spray not a lot of wastage. Two down points though, a lot of air leakage and I had to buy a connector valve to use this with my Wolf Air Compressor. Also I do get a lot of wter droplets. I resolved this by buying a part on Amazon that captures the water droplets but have to say this is the only gun I have that issue with. Having said that, I use this gun most, its light, easy to use and easy to clean

This little beauty did what i wanted, and did it well. I sprayed my car rear quarter in two pack. Metallic pearlescent green with a clearcoat afterwards. It came out really well. I am a bit rusty at painting so any run was my fault but my old devilbiss had given up the ghost and was stuttering. I did find however that the lid leaked no matter how tight i screwed it on. I think some kind of seal is missing but i simply didnt tip it up too much. This is the only drawback as to do a roof it would fail miserably. MAybe i can fix it somehow.

Delighted that product arrived well within the promised time. Against competitive products and other retail shop outlets it was very competitively priced. It performed the job I was doing (spraying a garden fence) magnificently. Adjustments to spray was wholly appropriate. Maybe because of me I did have some runs on the fence due to XS product which didn't matter at at on what I was doing but would have been unacceptable on "finer" work.

Great spray gun for the money.I am not very experienced with paint spraying but I managed to get a fairly decent finish using 2k paint.I had to practice with it first to get it spraying right.I took note of people saying that the seals get damaged using thinners based paint so I ran some soapy water through it after the job.Not sure how it would last using it frequently but for a hobbiest like me it's ideal

At less than £20 inc fast delivery I did not hold out any great hopes.Its actually a good bit of kit, sprays high build primer well (about 5% extra thinner needed) as well as 2K to a reasonable gloss finish.Really easy to clean and the lid is a good seal, stops that problem with gravity guns spilling onto the job.AND it does not over tax my small 7cfm compressor but clearly needs a 14cfm unit

This did a great job on my old van. Putting the cost of the gun and the cost of the paint together it was about £45 to respray the old dear and spruce her up a treat. I have only got a small compressor with low power but this gun still gives a good job. I have only used plain colour i.e. plain gloss red, yellow etc. At this price I was not expecting a product this good.

these spay guns are very good quality and have a fantastic finish, i was amazed how well they performed so i grabbed a few more while they were so cheap. these spay wood varnish to a very high standard and i am delighted as my old spay gun was 5 times the price but has the same build quality,get one now and for £3 on amazon deals its a total giveaway
