I'm a Seattle trail runner. It gets dark here at 5pm in the winter, and it can be dangerous to run technical trails in the dark, with lots of roots and rocks to dodge. Regular headlamps weren't enough. This light is. I can run very technical trails downhill almost as fast as daylight (8-9 min/mile) on the high setting, and flat trails at full speed on medium. High setting lasts me about an hour in 40 degree weather. Last night I ran for 2.5 hours using low for 1:15 (uphill), medium for 45 minutes and high for about 30 minutes, and had 2 bars of power (20-40%) when I got home.The battery looks huge out of the box but is surprisingly comfortable in use when worn on the head. No bouncing or discomfort for me.
